This is one of my favorite parks in all of Knoxville. First it's so big. The park has an amazing…read moreloop that's perfect if you're trying to do a few laps to get some miles in. It also has a trail that goes beside a pond and goes into a wooded area that's great if you're looking for a more serene experience. In addition there is a dog park and typically when I've been there the people are very chill which is not the same at other dog parks I've been to where some folks can be a little uptight. There's a large shelter - perfect for picnics - and large green fields which often hosts soccer games among other sports. Finally I don't have children but from what I can tell the playground looks fantastic - pretty new and updated very big and there's always a lot of kids playing at it. There's also a pretty large frisbee golf course. Victor Ashe has a little bit of everything for the whole family which is why I love it so much!

Concord Park might have my favorite bench in Knoxville. It overlooks the water, feels super…read morepeaceful, and is the perfect spot to just sit, tan, and read for a bit. Bonus: there's a taco truck nearby if you get hungry, which honestly makes it even better. Low-key one of my favorite places to unwind.

The sidewalks are accessible, but you will you need two hands to open the gate. There's a separate entrance to each of the small and large dog park areas, and both are well-maintained. There was some open space for play and run-off going through the property down to a large pond that was fenced off. My guess is that it's a retention pond for storm run-off and probably nothing living should swim in it. I would have been more pleased with this park if I had not seen the water features and been excited for that. It's a small park but fairly well kept (except for the water.) close to nearby hotel.

There is a separate section for small dogs, and plenty of dog bags (to pick up waste) on both sides. Some people seem to think it's okay to let you dog poo and leave it. It's not okay. Now that we've cleared up the confusion, back to the park. There is water available, but it's outside the fence. I recommend bringing a bowl to fill up and have inside. The park is great, with benches, and plenty of shade. Oh, and Plenty of parking from what I've experienced. Overall a great place to bring the fur balls!

I would say the only bummer to here is there will be very limited street parking usually about four spaces and one more for handicap and the rest are usually filled on the right side of the street do to the residents that live in the condo's across the street.
