They asked us to leave. Our puppy in leash there dogs attacking ours. There dogs would not stop growling and barking. I was scared. Then some women basically said to leave. I guess my Rottweiler that have AKC good citizen award on a leach. Is asked to leave. The aggressive pitbull and black lab mix gets to stay and harass other dogs. read more

Hands down this is the best dog park in town. Separate areas for bigger and smaller dogs is nice. The bathroom area is such a great convenience and every time I come the wash area is super clean. The parking is easy and it's close to the trialhead and the dog park entrance. I rate it more like 3.5 stars from a hiking perspective. For me, Concord Park is a little bit of a letdown. I've hiked every single trail on the hill and all I can do is go at it 2 times to get a real workout. From a rigor perspective these trails are more for fun than for challenge. The winter views along the lakeside trail are nice since you can see the lake and the colorful houses but the growing brush just stacks you closer and closer to the edge. Don't fall in the water. The inner loop trails are..well...inner loops. The scenic views diminish and the narrow paths drown amidst all the wooded trees. Some of these inner trails have hills and climbs but they are mid-level challenging. It's a great place to see kiddos at their first run on a mountain bike and family members doing an easy stroll. This is just me, though. read more

We enjoy Concord Park so very much. It is a waterfront that is perfect for walking, picnics, and canoes plus kayaks. Is a wonderful place to go to feel like you're on a mini vacation because of the beauty of the waterfront and the hiking trails. The only problem is it gets so crowded during the summer weekends. read more

Great park near the water. Great for paddle boarding and there is a small swimming area too. Great to bring your dogs for a quick run. There are tables and grills. Great vibes all around. Plus right before you get to the park, coming from Northshore rd there is a bomb mex food truck parked in the roundabout! read more

Great dog park! Separate areas for large and small dogs. Lots of room for them to run. Swim area if your dog likes the water. Only problem is that the swim area is close to the marina and there is no fence in the water to keep the dogs from going there. Twice people have let my dog in the swim area when I didn't want him in there. Luckily, I have managed to get him back, but it required going in the water both times. He loves to swim but won't come out when I call him. I wish the county would put a fence IN the water to keep the dogs confined. One man told me his dog swam all the way across the lake. read more

I didn't realize this place also had a dog park. It took me a minute to find it. It was very nice and even had a spot for dogs to swim in the water. All the other owners had well behaved dogs. Some did run up to us but were very friendly and just wanted to play. read more

I love this park! Not only me but my puppy does too! We went to the dog section of this park. And the allotted area for it is huge! There is a separate section for large and small dogs that is double fenced. There is a convenient gate that connects the 2 sections also, just in case you want to go on the other side. The park is clean itself and people are very friendly. There are even benches, water fountains, and a little lake with a paddle board area all in this area of the park. Beau and I will definitely be continuous park go-ers! read more

One of my favorite spots in West Knoxville is a quiet park, right off Northshore Drive. Running trails and woods, along a stunning lake. If you're not the jogging type, and just want a quiet place to read by a lake: drive to the intersection of Northshore Drive and Pool Rd, park in the lot south of Northshore. Walk toward the soccer field and follow the track to the lake. Jutting out into the lake is a pretty piece of land, with a solitary bench facing the water. Perfect place for relaxing with a good book. Enjoy! PS: Random bit of history: the lake was actually created in the 1940's by TVA. A historic town, Concord, used to be where the lake was. If you go to Lakeside Tavern, the restaurant in the park, they have some before and after photos. If you drive along the north side of the lake, you can still see structures from the 1800's along the railroad track. read more

This is my absolute favorite park in the Knoxville area...there's something for everyone here. I'm especially in LOVE with the dog area, as is my boxer, Harley. This is a massive dog park by Knoxville standards, and it even has a fenced off water area (part of the marina) for the dogs to frolic in! There's also a nature trail to hike with your dog, or to let him/her explore off lead. What a great way to spend a pretty day! read more

Great park! Good course, dog park, soccer field, marina, and trails for biking, walking, and running. There are many trails inside the trail system and are fairly long, especially if you do all at once. The dog park is fairly new and dogs love it. 9 hole golf course for warm up or practice with a par of 3 on each hole. The marina is right next to a restaurant called lakeside tavern which has great food and an awesome outside seating and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place to visit fairly often if you live in the area. read more

Such a beautiful park. Extremely clean, plenty of parking very well maintained. The cove was one of the cleanest swimming areas I've ever been too. Nice place for families, warm water, water was extremely clean. Only con no lifeguard , however all parents there were very attentive to their children. Nice grass area, nicely mowed. Such a gem for dog owners with the large fenced dog park section. Pups have a deck to jump off a boat launch to ease into the water for the wussy ones (like mine). After the dog park we set off for the West Loop trail which was a nice leisurely stroll with some inclines and my favorite sign that said "obstacles: unavoidable." All in all a lovely city park. Incredible dog park. It can be a bit difficult to find due to the scale of the overall park. It is near the diner. There are multiple areas for dogs to frolic -- land, water, woods, paths, etc. Redford had a blast. Plenty of shade and seating, it makes for a great place to post Yelp reviews. read more
