I was quoted $65-$75 for full groom for 7 pound Yorky poo. I know it's my own fault that I thought…read morethat it would be on the lower end of the $65-$75 quote, because he has been groomed before, was not matted or dirty, he's very good and it doesn't take long to do him. When I picked him up, I was charged the $75 rate plus tax which was 81 something and when I said why so much he said "well we quoted you it's $75,,,, plus tax ,,,,Tennessee tax is 9.25% and that makes it $81." Thank you, sir. I had no idea. He was catty, which is totally not necessary from the owner (he said) and the person taking your money. While I was waiting for my dog, I walked around and looked at some of the merchandise, and everything was dusty ~ on the shelves, the jars of merchandise, everything. It was pretty dirty in there. The machine where you run your card had dust all over it. I understand it's a dog place, but you can dust off your credit card machine and especially the merchandise if you want customers to buy it. All in all, the haircut was OK. And his nails had been clipped and maybe buffed because they were not sharp and ragged like another place we visited. Did not leave feeling good about this place. Note: I have no problem with the tax or the Revenue service! Re-read the review ~ or don't. But don't make it out like I am complaining about the tax. My issue is the price ~ BEFORE tax ~ and the attitude of the employee and the lack of cleanliness. To reiterate ~ even though I was quoted $65 to $75 for my dog, I should have known they usually don't charge the lower amount. Done.

This place is great. And the bougie services aren't tongue-in-cheek, they will SPOIL your dog…read more Listen, when the Pembroke Welsh Corgi needs fluffed and buffed and to have his little fancy "feathers" trimmed, this is the place. Do you have a rogue Corgi, too? One that comes in late, paws all grubby, smelling like he confuse about whether to pursue his dreams of being a dirty hippie reeking of [GASP] patchouli or one who likes industrial house music and cheap designer pharmaceuticals, legs shaky from dancing to jam bands all night? Just confused about the direction in his life and existentially stuck? ZS4P is the place to get him back on the bougie track. I mean, sometimes a fluffy feller just needs to feel better about himself and nothing will do except a nice pedi-pedi and a day at the spa, complete with a chilled bottle of Dog-Perignon, a warm washcloth, and little cucumber slices to help address the swelling and boogers in the corners of his eyes. He comes home feeling like a million bucks, but it takes a day or two to get him used to the idea that he'd just one dog in this large pack, and he's not running for office. I bumped into another fancy DogDad with a Yorkie. We didn't look the parts, but our dogs will. The Corgi doesn't wear white after Labor Day, takes his afternoon tea with crumpets, calls cookies "crackers," thinks that Massachusetts is a cheeky colony, and always always makes an appointment ahead of time for his spa day. Don't be a "walk-in," get your pooch an appointment and remember to to your Groomer.
