After shorting Rebecca's check $15, we got a call in transit to our destination demanding we come back to care for our own pets due to error in shorting her. We didn't hear the message till after we set up and were horrified to find she had abandoned the pets despite the repeated messages on her cell and after discovering her home phone trying to reason with her while she yelled at me saying it was my problem. She cashed the check left on the counter and left a note found by our competent sitter, Amber (1-423-506-0703), telling us she wasn't going to care for our pets.

She told us exactly what to expect, how it was going to happen, and that it was okay to be scared when it did happen. I claimed that this was a provider that you cannot go wrong with.. however, after our visit earlier today, my opinion has changed. About the provider herself these things remain true, as well as the younger receptionist. Unfortunately, the other older receptionist and every one of the techs I encountered today have dramatically changed my opinion and will keep me from returning to this place in the future. Snippy attitudes, literal eye rolls, dramatic sighs, and general lack of empathy and decency. One thing after another, tensions rising, and through it all not once did I have as much audacity as they to behave the way the situation most definitely warranted. Charged for services not rendered. Lack of attention to detail. Dismissive behavior. Inaccurate record keeping.. I could honestly go on. I deleted my previous review before I'd even finished checking out. I have referred friends and family to this center for years.. no more. My recommendation to the new owner? Consider the phrase.. out with the old and in with the new. 2 stars instead of 1 for the 2 devoted staff members mentioned previously..(names of which I intend to include later)

I've been using Pawsitively K9 for boarding for years, and my dogs absolutely love it there. It's a…read morelong drive for me, but it's worth every mile. This review, however, is about their dog training. I walk my dogs several times a day, and one of them used to pull like she was in a dog sled race. Even worse, she would try to attack anything with four legs. I know this may sound unbelievable, but after just one training session with Johnny, the difference was incredible. He didn't just train my dog--he trained me too. Now we enjoy calm, stress-free walks. The real test came this morning. I was walking three dogs when we spotted a fawn about 25 yards away. My German Shepherd mix, Daisy, immediately lunged after it and pulled the leash from my hand. I firmly said, "Daisy, no!" She stopped in her tracks, turned to look at me, and then calmly walked back to my side. I honestly didn't think that kind of change was possible after a single session. Johnny has an amazing ability to communicate with both dogs and their owners. He's definitely the "Dog Whisperer." I can't recommend Pawsitively K9 enough!

Unfortunately, one of them came home with multiple areas of clipper burn and scabbing on his ears, head, and neck. Most healed, but one neck wound later reopened and became a bleeding sore. When I contacted the groomer and sent photos, I was disappointed by the response. Rather than expressing concern or offering any resolution, I was blamed for the matting, told 'what do you want me to do? I'm a groomer.' reminded that I signed a waiver, and told to stop texting. There was no apology, no offer to examine my dogs, and no concern for his condition. My concern isn't the necessary shave. It's the multiple clipper injuries and how my concerns were handled afterward. Based on this experience, I'll not be returning.
