I am SO disappointed! I have left my precious 8 year old cattle dog numerous times. I picked her up today after nearly a weeks stay and she was a urine soaked mess! This was our dogs' second trip to this kennel. The first time they came back happy and healthy. This time they came home with weight loss, diarrhea, and vomiting. Red flag. We had no clue anything was going on. This doesn't just happen over night. When we picked them up, the employee said that had gotten a "maintenance bath (we didn't think anything of it at first)". Second red flag. The next day I called up and asked if they had noticed any of this when they were there. Apparently they looked through their "notes" and saw nothing of the sort. Now we are trying to get an appointment with our vet to figure out what's going on. With all of this said, I know there are risks in putting our animals in a kennel. It's just the fact that stuff isn't adding up, it's all too much of a coincidence and they were totally fine before taking them there. Just be cautious. read more

I haven't used them in quite awhile, but seeing there low rating is upsetting. They always took very well care of my animals. I have a pit I'll that loses her mind during thunder storms and they were always so kind to her. They have a completed fenced in yard and have elevated beds for the dogs. Amazing! My puppy is my baby and when I was going away and leaving her for the first time I was skeptical. I was worried. The staff here is friendly and assured me that she would be well taken care of. New clients get lots of TLC and they get several walks a day that is included in the price which is different than most kennels that try to charge you for everything! I called everyday to check on her and they were so kind. Would recommend leaving your baby here anytime. read more

My husband and I love this place! We have an Old English Mastiff, Boxer and Yorkie. They have all been here before and have been very well taken care of! We had to leave my OEM there this past weekend because where we were going (the hotel) didn't allow dogs over 75lbs! :/ We didn't have great reception so I didn't get to call everyday to check on him, however I knew he was in great hands! He was healthy looking and happy when we picked him up! He was definitely happy to see us, but he also went back to the people who took care of him for 3 days to say goodbye to them too! Wagging Tails Kennel and their entire staff are amazing! I had never boarded my late dog, but after newly adopting a rescue, I found myself in need of a kennel. After searching for reputable kennels, I found Wagging Tails. They invited us to come in for a tour, dog included! I was immediately impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, air conditioned/heated kennels and the structured daily schedule. I was confident leaving my new friend there. I also learned that they offered training. I had participated in other training programs before at local pet stores, but this was different. My dog didn't seem to have any previous training of any kind, and was pretty wild. Drew knows exactly what he is doing! All of the dogs in the program are calm, play together, LOVE being there and are focused on the task. There is no down time, so your dog doesn't lose focus. It is structured, layered and makes total sense. We will continue training here, as I see how different this program is. I was looking for a good place to take my puppy to start him in train, so my vet recommended Waggin tail. So I decided to check it out, So when I went there they treated me like I've been coming there for years, the staff is top notch ! Wagging tails is the best. For dog training DREW the head trainer , he trains your dog like it was his own, I'm on my second dog for training. I was haven issues with my second dog , he would not leave my side so I enrolled him In a program that is called boot camp, and when I got him back he was a totally different dog, drew is a professional trainer, Waggin tails is a family run business . For overnight stay ,they have the best set up. Your dog has its own private run they can stay inside or go outside and they keep it spotless!!! Back to the trainer, drew trains u as much as he does the dog .. So both of u are on the same page... These people care about u and your dog and in my book that means everything. They are not just out for money they care more about you and your dog.!!!!! Your dog comes first to them. I've been going there for a pretty long time and I have never seen drew give up on any dog!!!! And he never will.... I've been taking my dogs--a corgi and a Finnish spitz (Scout)--to Wagging Tails for 5 years. Recently my 17-year-old spitz developed a fever and symptoms while at the kennel. She had many medical problems, and we knew that she was nearing the end of her life. Megan and her staff stayed in touch with me several times a day until we could get home. They cleaned up after her, bathed her, and found a quiet and comfortable place for her. It was a terribly sad time for us, and Megan and her staff shared some hugs and tears with us as well. I would not have wanted Scout to be anywhere else if she could not be with us during her final illness. They were compassionate and helpful and made our loss a little easier. read more

Unfortunately one bad experience is all it takes. I've used wagging tails for boarding, grooming, and training. And all was great until the last time. I picked up my dog and he was so happy to see me and get out the door I didn't have a chance to look at him closely. On the way home I noticed he was covered in mud and dirt. Looking closer I noticed scratches all over him. The worst on his face which looked like a bite mark. But had two small cuts side by side on either side of the "bite" I called the kennel right away and had to leave a voicemail. They called me the next morning and explained they would look into it and for me to send them photos. I did and they called me back around 2 saying "my dog wasn't around "fence bitters" or any other dogs and that he ran around in his kennel a lot. Maybe he fell asleep on the chain link and you should consider taking your dog somewhere that doesn't have chain link." Well I sure won't be taking him back there. So many scenarios played through my head thinking what really happened to my baby?!? He's spoiled rotten he wouldn't fall asleep on something that hurt him. I'll never know but it looks to me like his head was held down on the chain link for punishment. He had also bite through his tongue. My baby is a 60lb stubborn, and spoiled, but disciplined and loving pit bull if you back him in a corner he may defend himself and I think that's what happened but if you work at a kennel shouldn't you be trained 1. To read body language and be careful and 2. To subdue an animal without causing harm? I'm disappointed in the staff for allowing this to happen and for not telling me about it upon pick up. I'll never know the whole scenario and I'll probably never take him back to a kennel with out surveillance cameras. read more

This was an awful kennel! I have 3 dogs that I took there and they stayed for 3 days. OMG--one of my dogs came back hoarse for 2 days after, another had a sore on his penis, and all three of them smelled like urine! It took my husband and I 3 washings to get the stink off! These people are amazing! I take my dogs there 1 to 2 times a year, for the last couple of years. This past time I took them for 5 days while we were out of state. On day 2, at the morning feeding I was informed that my dog was acting weird. Megan an employee at Wagging Tails said my dog was having trouble standing and was very wobbly. She grew more concerned when he collapsed and became aggressive which is out of his character. She felt like a vet needed to come to see him. Our primary vet doesn't do at home visits but Megan knew of one that would. She contacted them and they came to see him. Once the vet arrived she felt my dog needed to see a emergency vet. They felt he needed to have x-rays and she could not do that at this time. Megan informed me of 2 different emergency vets close by. A friend of ours picked up our dog and took him. The emergency vet ran blood work and did x-rays. Due to all of his tests and x-rays being good and with what the staff at Wagging Tails were describing they concluded he most likely had a seizure. I feel like Wagging Tails went above and beyond with the situation. They took control and acted promptly as if it was their own dog. They kept me in the loop the whole time and were extremely helpful. Megan reached out checking to see how my dog was doing while at the emergency vet. I couldn't feel more comfortable with leaving my dogs in their hands. read more
