Each time I uncontrollably sob on the phone but they're always so kind and patient, they're also great with communicating when pick up/drop off will be. One time I had a pet euthanized and they picked my precious Bandit up from the vet's office in McDonough and this time I had my cat pass away outside my home. Kevin came and was very kind and took away my precious Mittens. It takes roughly 2-3 days for them to cremate my fur baby but that could be because I live a good distance away on the south side of Atlanta. These are the best people! They gave me the urn, a paw print on the certificate and a fur sample! They also have a few other add ones like a cement paw print or a fancy urn. I will definitely be using them again when I have another pet pass away.

Jeff walked us through the entire process and his attention to detail was beyond incredible. We left there with our beloved Bella and her paw print clay casting perfectly prepared and we were emotionally 180 degrees from where we were when we arrived. Make no mistake, we are still in shambles over the abrupt loss of our daughter, but this is the place to go if you want to feel as welcomed, appreciated, and loved as you can possibly be in moment that you are most vulnerable. Thanks again the Jeff and his incredible team. We will be eternally grateful. Quinn and Karla

I took the kitty in and was treated with compassion and caring, so much so it almost felt like a funeral home making arrangements. When our 15 year old inside tabby passed we did not hesitate to use their services again. We had Dr M.G. McReynolds (who I had used back in the 00s) come for an in-home visit and she handled the transport of our baby to Heavenly Paws. We got a call from them upon her arrival that he had arrived and was being taken care of. Can't recommend them, as well as Dr McReynolds, enough.

The pricing is reasonable and very clear on the website, and they explain everything that you get with the selected package. There were also options on the form to order extra memorabilia (additional cost) on top of what you already get. She told us it would take 1-2 weeks, and we got a call back asking us to pick up about a week and a half after we dropped her off. The place was extremely clean, the staff is amazing, and the service they provide is astounding. The location is a bit strange, as it's in an office park, but the environment inside is immediately warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Don't let the initial outside looks fool you. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost their beloved pet and is going through many difficult emotions. The staff will handle it gracefully and treat you with the utmost respect.

I responded saying the appointment I was inquiring f about was the 13th and that I really couldn't understand how they could have someone so rude answering questions about scheduling the death of their pet. I am disgusted and am going to look at sunset vet or lap of love. This was absolutely not what I expected from a service like this.

They immediately charged me $474 for the service and keepsakes they were going to provide. The following day - the morning of the appointment - they texted me saying they had to cancel the appointment "for licensing issues." Are you kidding me??? They offered an apology and started to provide names of other services I could book with - all while my pooch was suffering. I declined since I can also Google companies - that's how I found them. So far, 6 days later, and I have yet to receive a refund for a service they couldn't provide. At least the other company we used had some empathy and waited until after the appointment to charge me. Do NOT use this company unless you call and verify thy have a licensed vet in your area capable of following through.

Lola was clearly in distress and wasn't breathing well. After the vet saw her X-rays it was determined that Lola had fluid in her lungs due to tumors in and around her lung. Every single person we encounter at North GA was professional and kind. We decided that it was best for Lola to put her to sleep. When the time came we held Lola while the vet gave her the shots. I wish I could remember the vets name as she was so patient and sweet to us and Lola. I would highly recommend North GA Veterinary Specialist.

Douglasville Veterinary Hospital owner is a liar and a racist…read more Original review on google I would not recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone. My dog, Shilo, ran away and came back pregnant. On May 25th, she gave birth. On May 26th, I contacted the clinic to have both Shilo and her newborn puppy seen, they were closed for the holiday. I called again on Tuesday and explained the urgency of the situation. I requested that they be seen the same day, but the person on the phone said the earliest available appointment was Thursday and assured me they would be okay. When I brought them in on Thursday, May 29th, I was informed that Shilo was very sick and that euthanasia was the recommended option. Shilo was put to sleep that day. I was told it would take a week and a half to receive her remains. I picked them up on June 9th and was deeply upset to find that her name was spelled incorrectly on everything--her urn, paw print, and cremation certificate. The clinic told me I would be refunded for the cremation fee and that while the paw print could not be corrected, the urn and certificate could be. On June 16th, I picked up the "corrected" urn and certificate--only to find that her name was still spelled incorrectly on the certificate. Today is June 19th, and I finally received the corrected certificate. Attached below is proof of the incorrect spellings. This experience was devastating and completely avoidable. At one of the most heartbreaking times of my life, this clinic showed a lack of urgency, compassion, and professionalism. Update I want to make it very clear that I was never hostile toward the staff. I was grieving and in tears over the devastating loss of my dog, and the repeated mistakes made only added to that pain -- but at no point did I have a verbal outburst. I also never stated that I would not return to the clinic. The claim that I was told I could not come back is completely false. On June 18th, I received a text stating that Shilo's corrected certificate was ready for pickup, and at no time was I informed that I was no longer welcome. On Thursday, June 19th, my fiancé picked up the certificate on my behalf because emotionally, it was too difficult for me to keep going back to that place after everything that happened. Douglasville Veterinary Hospital has shown absolutely no compassion throughout this experience. Their continued mishandling of my dog's remains and their false narrative about my behavior are both deeply offensive and unacceptable. Their response is not only dishonest -- it's cruel. And it needs to be said: when Black people express grief, frustration, or anything outside of being cheerful or quiet, we are too often labeled as aggressive or threatening. That kind of racial bias is harmful and dehumanizing. I was a heartbroken pet owner seeking care, and instead, I was met with carelessness, lies, and a complete lack of empathy
