I took my baby sparkle to get groomed for the first time on 7/2023. When I dropped her off there were several dogs in cages either waiting to be picked up or waiting to be groomed. When I picked her up there were again several dogs and cages including sparkle. She had never been caged before and she was afraid. The following day SHE HAD FLEAS!!! She has never had fleas in her life. I'm extremely upset. I'm not even sure if she was bathed or not. She didn't smell like she was. $75 and it seems like all she got was a haircut and came home with fleas. read more

Worst experience of my life going to a grooming service for my dog. I trust for them to do a good job due to the positive reviews, but not the case. The haircut is horrendous, his lashes were cut, and the top of his head looks like my 9 year old cut the top it with her eyes closed. My poor baby's paws feel like they were shaved and not carefully handled at all. For the amount of dogs that come here and only being one groomer, i feel that is very unsafe! Waggs & Whiskers never disappoints. I've taken my pups here for the past 4 years and they always do a great schnauzers cut. They follow my directions when I want something specific. For example I have an old schnauzer who doesn't spend much time outside anymore so I often ask for her to be left with a skirt and her beard a little longer. I also have a young and rambunctious adolescent that loves digging and playing in the dirt so I prefer a summer cut on his almost all year long. Nancy is so sweet and knows her craft! My dog Lucas has been seeing her for a couple of years now and anytime we are pulling up to her establishment he starts squirming with excitement to see her. She has always accommodated him within a couple of days from my call, on a few occasions even the same day. Sadie is 13 and has been going there for grooming for 12 years now with never a raise in prices! Took her in for quarterly bath and haircut--so important as the rains start since hair from paws to ankles is shaved so she doesn't track mud into the house. Early in the day, mid-week, lucky to find them with few dogs in the shop, so Sadie got extra quick service. Body hair trimed, hair removed from ears, shaved tummy and under tail shaved, claws trimmed and ground, bath and brush. She came out looking like this. Love this place! read more

I took my puppy for her first haircut several weeks ago to another groomer and she was only was able to get the bare minimum done because my pup was nervous and then when she settled down had to much energy to control. I went to Waggs and Whiskers to try again because my dog was beginning to look like a ball of unkempt fur even though I brush her often. What a delight to see her after a couple of hours!!! My dog was experiencing some pain due to her nails being too long so I brought her to Waggs & Whiskers for a trim. Unfortunately, I was unable to get another appointment at her normal place so I brought her here instead. The place is very poor kept by first appearance and the few dogs that were in their kennels looked frightened and were shivering but the reviews were decent so I decided to go with it. First off, my dog was already terrified but the front woman never even asked my dogs name and basically dragged her to the grooming area. She asked her back worker for assistance to help with the nail trimming but that made things worse, my dog was shaking and as my dog kept pulling her paw away the lady kept aggressively saying "stop it!!" to her. If she would've been welcoming and spoke to her in a kind tone and perhaps even gave her a treat my dog would've allowed the trim as she has before. But none of that happened. I stopped the process mid way through, and told them to leave it because I couldn't stand the terrified look on my dogs face. Please do not take your animals here they obviously are not true animal people. read more

They were available the same day I called and I was able to bring him in right away. The entire appointment took only 2 hours and he came out looking nice and groomed! I took my 2 Yorkies and I told the lady If they can get a puppy cut and bath. When I came to pick them up about 2 hours later I couldn't recognize my dogs 1 of them were complete bald and the other was bald from the body but the face was untouched, their excuse was that the dog kept moving and I was still charged $60 per dog just for then to shave my dogs bald.I do not recommend this place !!!! read more
