We've been bringing our little girl here since she was a tiny puppy, and Ben and team has always done an amazing job. We initially were really concerned and cautious about dropping off our furbaby when she was younger and not yet socialized with other dogs. But she wound up loving Ben and team, as well as all of the other doggos that she got to play with during her sessions. If your dog is not comfortable with other dogs, they have the option to segregate your furbaby as well. Drop-off times are usually early to mid-day. And pickups are typically closer to end of day on Saturdays due to the heavier traffic. There's limited room inside, so Ben or a member of his team will always come outside to retrieve your doggy or bring them out after their groom. read more

I feel like Goldilocks and I've finally found a groomer who's just right-- not too far away, not too expensive, accepts big dogs AND they seem to like dogs. Several bonus points for being knowledgeable, giving our big guy a great cut and not keeping him the entire day! Our dog is friendly and craves human or canine attention so the fact that he's allowed to play and hang out in the doggy rumpus room is a huge bonus. He came home tired. clean and handsome with a fresh cut (no cuts or clipper burns). His cut was even which has sadly been uncommon in our experience with other groomers who maybe get impatient with his big body, or maybe he gets fidgety. Either way, he had no odd poofs, stray pieces of hairs and no perfumes. I had a remote meeting scheduled at the same time I dropped off, so I just sat in the parking lot instead of driving. Koa gets a cut, a bath, nails clipped, and hangs with a bunch of doodle dogs who keep him busy and he come home tired ready to snuggle. Which is great cause he is so soft and smells fantastic. They seem to specialize in _____a-doodles here. I've seen sheep, Bern, golden doodles of all shapes and sizes. Our guy likes to romp, rassle, and tackle with other bigger dogs, so it's a challenge keeping him clean and devoid of foxtails and sticky's. We are hoping he's over jumping in the smelly bay. We have a 10 month old Belgian Shepherd and I was wondering how Ben would work with a double coat after reading some horror stories here on Yelp about groomers who didn't know how to deal with that. Our pup spent a few hours there while we ran errands (a huge plus!) and came back to us looking like a million bucks! He smelled good and had some quality social time with other dogs while he was there. Ben actually just gives a thorough comb out with blow dry and very minimal trimming on the important areas. He told us his coat should be left alone--and even though he didn't have a full coat trim, he looked like he had. Ben is experienced (30 years, he told us), friendly, accommodating and takes time to get to know the dogs he grooms. He seems to be very loving with the animals and to take pride in his work. And I should mention that our dog is pretty rambunctious and Ben was nonplussed. Highly recommend. read more

We take our labradoodle here for grooming every couple months, and she always comes back very fresh, happy, and exhausted. Exhausted because they have an area for dogs to hang out instead of waiting in cages, and my dog loves to play before and after her haircut. Everyone is great, especially owner Ben. This is at the same place that Dogs by Diane was, and is just as good if not better. They are wonderful to my dog, and give her a very, very, very cute cut. Unlike some places, they will take medium and large dogs. During Covid I bought grooming tools, but I always regret it when I groom my dog, because then I have to wait longer before I can take her to the Empuppyporium. I've been to petsmart twice and both times they have given me a partial refund because they could not finish the job. I was so nervous for Benji to get his first ever haircut but it couldn't have gone any better. Benji's haircut looks amazing and it smells even better! He's super soft still which I was worried about and they kept all the right amount of fluff in the perfect spots! They even have a free range area for dogs that are comfortable to play while they wait instead of being in a kennel the whole time. I couldn't recommend The Empuppyporium enough! Teddy is a rescue malti-poo and can be nervous and reactive. Two different groomers kicked him out and told me we were not welcome as customers. I got confused about the address on our first visit to the Empuppyporium, so I phoned to tell them I would be late. When I got there and was doing up the leash and keys, Ben came out and met us in the parking lot and took Teddy into his arms. This dog loves being held and cuddled, they developed instant rapport. When I came back to pick him up, he was not only clean and trimmed and smelling great, but relaxed and happy and Ben praised his behavior and said he would always be welcome to return. Ben at Dogs by Dianne is a life saver. I have taken my mother in laws dog Geoffrey to see Ben now three times. All three visits to get a "Puppy Cut" and all three visits Ben was able to squeeze Geoffrey in at the last minute. The location of Dogs by Dianne is a bit hidden from the street but once you find the location there is plenty of parking. You will need to contact Ben and he will come out to the parking lot wearing a mask and pick up your dog curbside. He will then ask you what type of cut you are requesting and give you a ruff estimate as to a time to come back for pick up. With all this said it is all well worth it. A wonderful place! I have a border collie/red heeler mix. Her name is Piglet! She's a new client here and will be a client here for however long they are open until! I dropped off around 9am and picked up at 2pm. The groomer is also a groomer/daycare type. She got to play with pups and not in a nervous environment of all baths and nail trims. We're not sure how it happened, but we noticed our dog had a red eye after picking her up from a grooming appointment at Dogs by Dianne. She is a 3 month old puppy, so she possibly poked her eye in the course of being rambunctious. We took her to a vet and they said the red eye appeared to be the result of a temporary asphyxiation... so our best guess is she got tied up in a grooming harness and choked (?) Anyway, we spoke with the Groomers and they said nothing out of the ordinary occurred. We're skeptical, but anyway.... we're likely not to going to use this Groomer again to be safe. read more

For years I've been dreading of cutting my dog's nail, tried everything from clipper to Dremel, my pug hated them equally. Until I found Ben's establishment, I called in the morning and asked if they provide nail grinding (instead of clipping, bc our last groomer cut my dog's quick pretty badly, and comparatively nail grinding is a safer option), then I just drove in with Boba. Ben came out to greet me and Boba, you can tell he's very good with dogs, then he took him in, the whole nail grinding process was very efficient and with Boba struggling a bit (which is def expected cuz he would try to nip at me if I were to attempt this at home), I'm really surprised how Ben and the groomer handled the situation so well!!!
