What a bummer to see low ratings for such a fun place!! I have been coming to Severs since I was a…read morekid, and have always enjoyed it! The parking is free and I highly recommend doing no the cheaper presale tickets or get the online core you go! You get a discount and don't have to wait in line. When you get there, they do have a free program booklet/map. There are apples, honey and pumpkins for purchase and plenty of spots for you to take your fall photos. There is a north and south food area! Highly recommend the roasted corn! There are also classics like kettle corn, beer, alcoholic ciders, mini doughnuts and more! This year they added a BMX bike show and my boys REALLY like that! (Free) The maze is free and takes just under an hour for us to normally complete it. The petting zoo is also free unless you want to feed the animals. Then it's a few bucks for a cup of food. There is a giant slide, little train ride that goes around the grounds, hayride, pumpkin blaster, pony rides, and more that all have a small extra fee to them. I suspect this is why the ratings are lower. There are also large jumping pillows (adults can go on these too), shows, pig races, picture opportunities, small play ground areas, a large tire climbing area, zip line, hay maze, corn pit and more that are free. So plenty to do without having to shell out more money if you do not want to! This is a fall staple in my house! And we enjoy it every year!

You pay 25 plus something dollars per person over 3 yrs to get in the door and a majority of the stuff inside still has an extra charge. That's $100+ for a family of four to just walk into the place!? Did I miss discounted tickets somewhere? - just make sure you digest all of the website so nothing gives your wallet a shock when you get there. BUT, however, if you have the extra expendable income - you should have a okay time and a extra price tags for most extras doesn't faze you for extras - it should be a decent time had by you and your little one's. Note: NO dogs. There is ample parking and you'll need it on the weekend as it for crowded VERY quick. It does have some cute gimmicky things instagram photo moments - that were luckily free. Everything on the grounds likes cash. Make sure you bring plenty of small bills to make vendors happy. It's a meh from me and I'll gamble on somewhere else next time.

The haunted house was pretty nice, just spooky enough to make it fun without being over the top. They have a lot of activities for kids, from the corn maze to the pumpkin patch and farm animals that everyone seemed to enjoy. The donuts and adult drinks in the Country Store were wonderful. They also have a good selection of other snacks and local goodies worth checking out. Mary in the Country Store was great, friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I will definitely be back again, and next time we'll bring our nieces and nephews so they can join in on the fun.

The thing is it's 3 adults & 1 child, paying $80 to get in to watch 1 child play is not worth it imo. Most of the activities are geared towards younger kids. They do have a free area in the common area. There's a smaller sweets store, bar & gift shop/cafe. All of it was pretty underwhelming. The sweet shop hardly had anything but caramel apples and few stuffed animals. It's still pretty early in the season so it's weird to see the space so empty same with the other shop/cafe. Not much going on. The cafe where you order food was odd looking. Like a counter in the back of a warehouse vibes. Floor was messy and just didn't look like somewhere you should eat out off. I got in like to grab a cider flight. There was one person working the bar but it was basic pours. The line stayed consistently busy. By time I got to the front ~15 min of waiting I was told they were out of the cups they needed for the flights so he told me he would flag me when they restocked them. I came back about 10 min later and they were restocking cups and the line was still consistently long. Never was flagged down and ended up waiting another 10 or so minutes in line. When I got to the front they were having issues with the payment system. Just wasn't my luck. I did end up getting my flight, 4 ciders, pretty good but I'm generally over the experience. I also got a cider float w/ a donut. I guess because they were so busy despite the menu saying one thing (that you can choose the cider flavor) they used a basic cider for all of them. It was decent. Overall not a place I would I'd want to adventure that far out for.

They're able to do as many activities as they want and there are SO many to choose from. However, you can have plenty of fun there without the wristband. There is a smaller corn pit, animals to pet and feed, and other free activities to enjoy. There are also plenty of food trucks and spots to grab drinks which makes it ideal to spend a few hours there at least! In addition, they do have some apple trees to pick apples from if that's something you're looking for. It does get VERY busy so I'd recommend heading there pretty early. Looking forward to coming back for many years to come!

The shop is interesting and serves up a lot of variety of apple products. While you browse, get a glass of wine and walk around. Definitely get out to the grounds surrounding the barn. We strolled through the apple orchard down the street from the barn. If you are too lazy to walk, they operate tractors also. You can either buy your apples at the store or choose the pick your own apple bag option. There were Haralsons, Fireside and Honeycrisp apples when I was there. It's so much fun to see those red apples hanging in the trees while enjoying the cool breeze and crisp air. The rolling hills in this area is breath taking. Not only is it an orchard but also a vineyard. I'm not as familiar with Minnesotan wines so I was a little skeptical but honestly I was very impressed by the crisp and woody taste of one of their reds. Not only that but they had a live band playing fun music. They allowed doggos so it was fun to walk around and see the beautiful fall colors with the pooch. Plus it was very family friendly so there were also some cute kids enjoying hay rides! They had what appeared to be a vendor selling unique pizzas but also the best soft pretzels I've ever had in my life with REAL gouda cheese for dipping. Great spot to check out in the fall, great for group gatherings/parties, would come back next year (although may call about pumpkins beforehand).

The slides they have looked fun for bigger kids. They had some picture opportunities which my family liked. I loved the hay area with pumpkins for photo ops. We mainly came for Rosie's Farm Yard and Petting Zoo. It was definitely smaller than expected / advertised. I believe it was $5 per person including parents if they wanted to join in/ had a hesitant toddler like myself! We only had about 2-3 minutes in the petting zoo before rotating out. They had a few bunnies, chickens, a pony, and donkey in a very small enclosure. Not sure if I would go again for the petting zoo but I promised my toddler we would go, and that's why I still went through with it when I saw how small the enclosure was and how little time they were going the kids to pet the animals. My favorite part was the food trucks. We had some incredible mini donuts and amazing popcorn! Some of the best I've had. I would definitely be back for the food trucks alone. Overall it was a nice local pumpkin farm if you don't want to drive too far from home.

The farm was busy but not overwhelming, and we were able to find several perfect pumpkins (and some smaller gourds) about a week before Halloween. There were also a few food trucks, with burgers, coffee, and some very intriguing teas. The overall ambience of the farm was beautiful and perfect for some weekend fall fun.
