The chili cheese fries were covered with so much chili that they were more like a bowl of chili with fries underneath. The brisket fries were probably the best item we ordered, although the meat was more similar to shaved steak than the BBQ brisket we expected. To be fair, the portions were generous, and while we were waiting, a local customer mentioned that the mac and cheese is one of their better menu items. The staff was also friendly. That said, for nearly $90 for takeout for two people, I expected a much better overall experience. Nothing we ordered stood out, and the food quality simply didn't justify the price or the 50-minute wait. Based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're specifically going for menu items that regulars suggest. Last note for fairness- the actual SMOKE/tenderness of the ribs was very good.

I made the choice of hot which was MY mistake. When I was asked how my meal was I told my server it was a bit too spicy for me she offered to take back my meal and have it remade. I told her that "the customer is NOT 100% correct and it was MY mistake." She seemed quite surprised at my response and asked me again, I told her that I would make rice at home to add to my leftovers which I did. My leftover Cashew Chicken was just as delicious the next day. The next time I'm looking for Snowy Owls I will be definitely stopping in again for a great meal and hopefully I will be able to located some Snowy Owls on the road trip.
