The chili cheese fries were covered with so much chili that they were more like a bowl of chili with fries underneath. The brisket fries were probably the best item we ordered, although the meat was more similar to shaved steak than the BBQ brisket we expected. To be fair, the portions were generous, and while we were waiting, a local customer mentioned that the mac and cheese is one of their better menu items. The staff was also friendly. That said, for nearly $90 for takeout for two people, I expected a much better overall experience. Nothing we ordered stood out, and the food quality simply didn't justify the price or the 50-minute wait. Based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're specifically going for menu items that regulars suggest. Last note for fairness- the actual SMOKE/tenderness of the ribs was very good.

There's an opportunity here to make the food counter a showcase for what's being sold in the butcher cases--fresh sausages cooking, great smells filling the store and customers getting to taste the products before taking some home.
