We stopped in after a disappointing morning search for the elusive Snowy Owls that migrate from the Arctic Circle which we never could find. I wasn't expecting much since it's located in the small farming village of Sebewaing, I was 100% WRONG. Our meals were simply superb, prepared perfectly, very large portions, and reasonably priced too. A person is given choices in regards to how spicy he wants his meal, "none," mild, hot, or spicy. I made the choice of hot which was MY mistake. When I was asked how my meal was I told my server it was a bit too spicy for me she offered to take back my meal and have it remade. I told her that "the customer is NOT 100% correct and it was MY mistake." She seemed quite surprised at my response and asked me again, I told her that I would make rice at home to add to my leftovers which I did. My leftover Cashew Chicken was just as delicious the next day. The next time I'm looking for Snowy Owls I will be definitely stopping in again for a great meal and hopefully I will be able to located some Snowy Owls on the road trip. read more

My family and i come here at least once a month to eat. The wide variety of Thai, Chinese, American and authentic Mexican gives you so much to choose from. It's my favorite place to eat in sebewaing. We always get the same girl as our waitress and she's the absolute best. Sometimes she gets us free donuts . Mexican is great. Best queso and tacos around. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good authentic food. read more

They offer a few Mexican food choices on the weekend. I ordered the chimichanga and was surprised to find it was NOT deep fried like every Mexican place. It had just chicken inside without any other sauce. It looked like a burrito instead. It had a white cheese sauce (seemed like a queso Blanco sauce). It came with rice and beans and they were fine. Cost was $16, way overpriced for something I could make much better at home. They serve the hot sauce chilled in ketchup bottles. Since the new owners are Hispanic I thought they could do a good chimichanga. The restaurant also serves Thai food and now I'm a little hesitant to try that. The server was really nice. read more

The food is ok but the service is the worst ever. But if you live in a small town and are sick of pizza and McDonald's then you choices are subway or here. So a few times a year I eat here. I always end up upset and say I'll never come back, but like a dog to its vomit...here I am again!! The place itself is trashy and old and nasty. Icky and sticky. Looks like the 70's. Bathroom cleaning toilet then she was sneezing an wiping nose with her hand The food :salad bar had no lettuce the soup was slimy looking my husband said tasteless I wouldn't try it the dinner egg roll smelled bad funny I got the general chicken if u call it that tiny pieces mostly breading sauce was not spicy Nor did it taste freshmy husband had gotten chop suet hey said he could taste it had been sitting and to top it all off we both got sick from the food the only thing good was are drinks and the fortune cookie. read more

Love love this place, the cooks never seen to let me down my favorite is the Sebewaing delight and for the American food would have to be the steak sand-which, the food is always out in a jiffy, while you wait you can watch some tv or nibble on salad bar and the staff two in particular- the morning girl I usually go in around one, always has a smile on her face and is always ready to answer questions if needed, very fast at getting drinks and soups and she is never afraid to crack a few jokes, now the other waitress I've always seen her at night- very nice young lady, very fast at getting your things as well, brown hair wore glasses, wish I woulda got their names, both so patient never felt rushed, will be coming back here and hoping I get one of them again, if so they got a good tip from this old geezer keep it up Peking city! read more

This place is small-town, bad Chinese that you go back for again and again. The take-out is great, and the eclectic charm adds to the experience. I have been eating here for over 30 years. I have moved away, visited Asia, and loved Chicago Chinatown, but this is still my pick for Chinese while visiting. read more

Good food! We ordered 3 dinners, two Chinese meals and a broasted chicken dinner. All were very good. Their tap water is awful, so I would suggest getting bottled water or a another type or beverage. read more

If only there was a minus 5. This place was horrible. We have eaten there in the past with good food. Tonight with only a few tables it was bad. Starting with the service. The waitresses forgot we were there. We finally ordered and wait for our drinks. After others walked in ordered and received their food we still waited. 40 minutes later we should have left. We finally received our appitiser to have them a huge dough grease ball. Then when we finally almost begged for our food it was horrible the chicken was dry and so chewy. The rice was soaked in soy sauce. Just a really bad experience. When we informed the waitress she just said aww. That's to bad. Yup will never go back. read more
