Been jonesing hard since missing out on a taco truck at Four Corners back in 2015. Living on the east coast, I don't have a lot of Navajo Taco options. My husband and son? Had never had a Navajo Taco. This was the best introduction for them! The service here was terrific. The young man who seated and served us was great! Personable, funny, cool tats, really made the meal shine. The tacos were spectacular, perfect, with the fry bread done just right. The sweet potato fries were also spot-on, as was the coffee. The decor was rustic, fun, with old tools, a collection of beer cans and bottles, and comfy seating. I do have one regret, though. The cook came out to chat, and he told us about his band playing at a local venue, invited us to come hang. Sadly, we were on our way out of town. Can't remember the name of his band so I can share with friends who live in that area and would love to go see them play. I can almost remember it--Thunder in the Valley? Thunder on the Mountain?
