I brought him home and immediately called to see what treatment he was given. Basically nothing!!! When I spoke to someone on Monday, she offered to "work with me if he had to go to the vet." What does that mean??? Then I asked if she had a handwashing protocol between pets. She assumed employees washed their hands! I asked her why a picture of my dog's eye was not sent to me, so I could decide his care if they are not willing to care for it. As far as I recently found out, our pets are left alone at night and no cameras are used. My dog will never go there again!

I took my dog there in April when she became sick. When I brought her there, they told me that she was in such bad shape, that they couldn't send her home with me. They said they could either keep her overnight for observation or that I could take her to a more expensive veterinary clinic in Madison or the Twin Cities. They said they thought that her CT scans showed an intestinal obstruction. However, the next day, they called and said that she was better, that she didn't have an obstruction. They said they did a second CT scan in the morning and used AI to look at the images to determine if there was anything to be concerned about. I believe should have been done when the did the first set of CT scans, since it could have confirmed immediately that there wasn't an obstruction and that they needed to pay attention to her labs results (these will be mentioned farther down). They told me she just had an upset stomach and that she'd recover. She didn't. She died shortly after they sent her home. I've been requesting her lab results from that visit and I just got them, along with the note that they would not be communicating with me further. As if I was being unreasonable for asking for them. Her test results indicated that she never had an obstruction, but that she actually had a bacterial infection that was causing her liver to fail. Every test result of her liver enzymes indicated this and they ignored them, for some reason. Her bilirubin levels were extremely high, 3 times the normal range, and they did nothing about it! They also lied in the records that they finally gave me. They stated that she was in no visible distress when I brought her in, when she actually was in distress. So much distress, that the vet and vet tech commented on it, since they had met her before and knew she wasn't acting normal. They also stated that her mucous membranes were pink and moist when she was brought in and when she was released, which is another lie. Her white gums were one of the reasons I knew she was sick and brought her to the vet. And this was another thing the vet noticed and commented on. They are unscrupulous, negligent, unprofessional, and liars. They only care about money, they don't give a dam* about your pets or you. If your fur-baby gets sick, take them to VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital.

I called around to several veterinarians before trying TAMC and they were the first place able to fit us in for a last-minute appointment. They did an exam and ran several tests on her, the appointment actually ran past closing time but the staff helping us stayed late to figure out what was wrong. Unfortunately, the news wasn't good and we took our dog home for one last night before returning the next day to say goodbye. We were treated so kindly and gently by everyone there, it really helped make a terrible situation a bit easier. They even made arrangements to have our dog's ashes forwarded on to a relative's home for us, as we left Wisconsin before we could pick them up. While I wish we'd never had any reason to visit TAMC, everyone there went above and beyond for us and I am so very grateful.

NOT AN EXCUSE to hit my dog, yell at her, and violently hold her neck and face in which Dee did. I tried to tell this women to stop after about 5 minutes of her struggling to clip my dogs nails and i've never seen my girl so scared in her life. Dee would not let me leave with my dog. She Continued to fight my dog, opened a cabinet to find a string to tie my dogs mouth shut. The string wouldn't stay so she proceeded to try and make this string as tight as she possibly could and it was visibly hurting my dog. She then tried to make some contraption to wrap my dogs mouth closed and attempted to tie it around her head the second time. I stopped her and tried to take it off. I then asked her again to please stop and I will just pay her for trying because I just wanted to leave and I could not handle watching this shit go down with my dog. She proceeds to explain (in a not so friendly tone) that if I keep babying my dog and telling her to calm down saying "it's okay" she will never learn. Then started babbling on about how if she can't stay still here then a vet will have to do it and put her under in order to get something like this done. This Dee women is scary. She kept trying to cut my dogs nails after me telling her twice to stop at this point. Both times i'm clearly holding back tears as i'm watching this lunatic hit my dog in the face and basically choke her. I get it, I could've just grabbed my dog and walked out but this women is scary and weird as fuck. No words can ever describe what I watched my dog go through and how this lady treats animals. I wish I had video proof of what the fuck happened because she should not be able to keep her business up and running. I paid this lady out of fear and both me and my dog got out of that place as fast as we could.

The cut was exactly what we asked for, her nails were trimmed well, even got a pretty little bow. You can tell the lady loves dogs and takes pride in her work. She was talking to Zoey, petting her, and trying to make sure wasn't to anxious which made it easier to leave her there. Zoey was definently in good hands. I can't recommend Dee's enough.
