I called recently for a rehire and learned that I would not only need to reprint her materials but was treated in a grossly rude manner when I stated that I didn't have the ability to print something from home at the moment. She offered alternatives disdainfully, and actually had the gall to ask me if I could have my mother print it out for me (I am a 40 year old professional). This is after her original exhaustive procedure for beginning service during which I was told "customers call me and we take care of them when they are already out of town." I guess they left without calling previously but remembered to print out paperwork. Anyway, she was ugly enough for me to want to write this review. I'd worry about my animals in the care of someone that doesn't want to keep their customers.

The last time we got an apology that said the handwriting "toy poodle" was mistaken for "Tuesday". We were asked to come back Tuesday after driving in. I would recommend putting appointments on the day they are scheduled or offering online scheduling that can be viewed but the owner/customer alike. Way too much stress! No time for it!

They video taped the cats hanging out and getting lots of attention and sent it to me while we were gone. I actually got home a bit early, so it was terrific that Justin could give lots of attention to my male cat (who obviously adored him and wouldn't stop rubbing up against his legs) while I brought my stuff in. Justin even offered to help me unload, but it was even better to see how much the cats loved them! I would recommend them to anyone who has to leave their homes -- it's reassuring to know that pet sitting isn't just a 'job' to them -- they love animals! First time I have gone anywhere and someone NOT related to me kept Dixie. Aurghhhhh....talk about some nervousness (mine not Dixie's!)! Seriously, I had more anxiety going to Farifax, VA than I had leaving for Afghanistan (yah, there is something wrong w/ me). Anyway, Cynthia C. takes her Buddy Joe to Dog Days Inn and recommended them to take care of Dix. She has yet to lead me astray. I checked out their webpage (very useful regarding reservations, vet verification, etc). They did verify Dix's immunizations are current which I appreciated...indicates they are checking all of their pups. Gotta keep them healthy and safe! Dog Days has the day care and then boarding. I did sign Dixie up for daycare on the days she was there being boarded. I know how Dix is - - typical tiny Chihuahua. It takes her a good while to acclimate to a different place and other animals. I just asked that they forget daycare if she was not receiving it well. I didn't want her to be too scared. They did exactly what I asked. Had they wanted to increase "my bill", they could have thrown her in day care and I would have never known the difference. Not saying they WOULD have done this, but they are not in this to fleece the customer at the sake of your pet! :) Their FB page is active and kept up throughout the day. I LOVE seeing the pets play and interact w/ each other. Each time I wrote on FB to check on Dix, I seriously received a response in less than five minutes. They posted pics of her on the page even though she was NOT in day care. Ms. Aimee even carried her around for some socialization (she's such a baby!). To add to my stress, my last day in Virginia the traffic was horrible. I couldn't make it back to Fayetteville to pick her up in time. I called and they said it was no issue keeping her another night. I have no idea how much boarding usually costs around here, but their price was VERY reasonable, plus the peace of mind knowing she was being loved on and safe. I know how much my baby means to me and without hesitation I recommend this place for boarding or day care. They took great, individual care of Dixie. Their facility is VERY clean and they have a sizeable business - - that's not easy considering how many pets go through there every day. I will be out of town at the end of August and will take my sweet Dixie back to Ms. Aimee and the other girls. Check them and their facility out in person if you are unsure - - they have pics of their pups hanging up inside on their wall. I love how they take the extra time to showcase their animals. Hope I don't have to leave Dixie here very often, but I am thankful to know I can rely upon them and their care as needed! :)

Today was our last visit with Ambassador. Very unprofessional! We have been bringing our dog here…read moresince we first got our puppy over a year ago, and until now we were mostly happy with the care, aside from a few minor issues. That changed today. The staff was extremely rude and condescending in the way they spoke to us. We were barely able to ask questions about our dog or discuss the concerns we had without being belittled by comments that were made. We were made to feel like an inconvenience simply for being there. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was also very unprofessional. When we asked for an itemized bill, the receptionist scoffed and read the charges aloud instead of printing it as requested. Overall, the experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. Based on how we were treated during this visit, I would not recommend taking your pets here.
