**Long review, but if you were like me and have never boarded before, this will help you!** In the 2 years of having our baby Marlin we have never had to have him boarded. We wanted to take a trip for a few days to New Orleans, and Bed & Biscuit was highly recommended. I emailed and was told there was an application process and I had to submit an application and then have Marlin sent for an evaluation day to make sure that he would be a good fit. I was so happy they did such a throughout application process. To some it may seem excessive but it means they actually care. He does not have much socializing as we live in the country and there aren't dogs that he sees on a regular basis. We have taken him to some dog parks but let's be honest some owners don't watch their dogs and so we tend to not take him often. We have taken him to the botanical gardens on their dog nights and he did well. He passed his evaluation and was able to be boarded for a few nights. They were nice enough to show us the grounds and explain in detail (Thanks Ms. Allison) everything that Marlin would experience while at camp! They said I could check in as often as I wanted to and that he would be taken care of. We dropped our sweet boy off and it broke my Mom heart, but I also knew, that he would be SO loved while we were away. Boy was I right. The first night of our trip, I sent an email to see how he was doing. I did not want them to think I did not trust them, but I also wanted to see how he was since this was his first time away from home and also socializing with others as well as us being so far from home. He was doing great. I was so happy. I picked him up and I could tell that he was happy to see me but then he was sad to leave. I was shown pictures of him on the trampoline and oh my goodness, I could tell that he had a blast and that we found our second home. He has been tired all day. I see that as a good sign that he had too much fun at camp. My husband and I have already talked about taking him for day care every month, at least a time or two so that he can keep the socializing up! Oh and all of the details that other places don't even think to do, I mean he came home with his first ever report card!! How cute was that? They really truly love what they do, and it shows. THANK YOU to the entire staff for taking such good care of our baby. We are SO happy to have found you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Marlin just like you would your dog. When I first took my pups, they didn't want to get out of the car when I dropped them off. Now they are absolutely in love with the counselors and the other campers. They can't jump out of my car any faster to go have fun. The staff is caring and remembers all of their campers and dietary needs. I have two Great Danes and a Boston Terrier, they all stay in an extra large room, they love to be together. They are the first and only place I call to have my pups cared for vacation or for emergencies. They have been nothing but a life saver and a safe and loving place for my pups. LOVE the entire staff at Bed & Biscuits. I know that every time I drop my fur baby off he is going to have the best time and be taken care of just as well as if I was there. More like doggie camp than just boarding. Took our GSD and Australian Shepherd there and they seem to have had a great time. Not nervous or anxious like they are with regular vet boarding. Plus they offer some basic grooming services and great activities/food/treats with the dogs with the proceeds going to dog rescue. You can tell they are true dog lovers and their business is clean and very organized. Already came recommended to me by 3-4 people whose dogs loved it. read more

This is the best pet kennel I have ever used. They know your pets and spend a lot of time with them during their stay. By your second visit they'll know you and your dogs by name and your dogs will be excited to go back. They are very reasonably prices and don't charge extra for playtime like some kennels do. My friend also bring their Great Dane here, and their dog gets very excited when they take him there. read more

We have been bringing our beagle, Mickey, to Bed and Biscuits since 2009 and our biggest concern is he may like being at camp more then he likes being at home . Michelle and the bed and biscuits gang go above and beyond what a normal board facility would do. Trail walks everyday, personal relationships with all the dogs. Celebrating holidays with the dogs (dog friendly cupcakes, cooking a turkey FOR the dogs at Christmas!). Mickey always comes back looking athletic from all the fun he has had during his trip. The dogs definitely aren't just sitting in a kennel their visit. Mickey had spinal surgery and we completely trust them with his post surgery restrictions. One time I boarded my brother's dog while we were watching him and he was refusing to eat because of separation anxiety. Bed and biscuits gave him personal care and COOKED FOR HIM to get him to eat. It's hard to find someone who will love your dogs as much as you do when you're away. But the Bed and Biscuits team goes above and beyond for my sweet dachshunds every single time. They have stayed at Bed and Biscuits probably a dozen times in the last year and are at the point that I have to catch them both as they launch themselves out of the car when we arrive, to get through the door and into their friends arms as soon as possible. One dachshund is almost completely blind and they care for her like she is their baby. I highly recommend Michelle and her team, they care about the dogs and I know my babies are safe and happy staying with them. read more

My german shepard told me that i need not come to get her,that I wasnt providing at home what she wants,WOW, I cant compete with Bed and biscuit but I do my best, she told me that wasn't good enough,either I move in with her at Bed and Biscuit,or give her up,well I am sure I can forse her to come home at some time.Bed and Biscuit,you are a hard place to compete with. I have never boarded my 5 year old scotty so I am a little more particular about leaving him. I called and reserved his spot upon a recommendation and I am glad I did. They ask what vet you use and call themselves I didn't have to bring paperwork, they even called me to let me know he was due for one of his shots before he could come out! Its a 30 minute drive from where I live but its on a really nice piece of land and when you first pull up you see someones house so you know someone lives on the property with the dogs. They walk them 3 times a day and they have a menu of services that you can add to your pups stay. These services include grooming (spa packages) they do a golf cart ride that supports rescue they have an ice cream social they have different treats such as bully sticks and filled kong treats you can add. I added the golf cart ride and a bath since my dog has longer hair that gets dirty. My dog had a great time! I even emailed them during my trip to check on him and they were very prompt with their response. I will definitely use them again! (also play time is not extra and the prices are reasonable for what you get) read more
