They don't have webcams like some of the other boarders and while I was promised Facebook photo updates every day, a few were only posted only after I'd called and asked (on the third day). My dog also had a bath at the end of his stay that left him a little dry and with some dandruff. Pros: The area is nice and easy to find, and dogs are outside playing the majority of the day. They also separate the big and smaller dogs and they seemed to do a good job of following special instructions you leave them. Their prices were also very reasonable. Overall, the service at PetStarz was good. My dog came home exhausted, without any negative changes in personality, and seemingly treated very well. I would definitely consider giving it another try.

The staff was extremely rude and condescending in the way they spoke to us. We were barely able to ask questions about our dog or discuss the concerns we had without being belittled by comments that were made. We were made to feel like an inconvenience simply for being there. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was also very unprofessional. When we asked for an itemized bill, the receptionist scoffed and read the charges aloud instead of printing it as requested. Overall, the experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. Based on how we were treated during this visit, I would not recommend taking your pets here.

During their stay, I received no less than 80 pictures I could view of them playing and having fun on the Facebook website page. I got artwork the dogs created, a photo shoot, pup cups nightly, ice cream, and doggy pool time and a video! I doubt my pets wanted to come home after their 5 star treatment and stay. The prices are amazing at $40 dollars per dog and $20 for a dog companion. The owner truly cares and is so friendly. I will absolutely be back!! I love my dog. I love my dog. I love my dog…read more Now that I have that out of the way....last week I had to go out of town. First time I have gone anywhere and someone NOT related to me kept Dixie. Aurghhhhh....talk about some nervousness (mine not Dixie's!)! Seriously, I had more anxiety going to Farifax, VA than I had leaving for Afghanistan (yah, there is something wrong w/ me). Anyway, Cynthia C. takes her Buddy Joe to Dog Days Inn and recommended them to take care of Dix. She has yet to lead me astray. I checked out their webpage (very useful regarding reservations, vet verification, etc). They did verify Dix's immunizations are current which I appreciated...indicates they are checking all of their pups. Gotta keep them healthy and safe! Dog Days has the day care and then boarding. I did sign Dixie up for daycare on the days she was there being boarded. I know how Dix is - - typical tiny Chihuahua. It takes her a good while to acclimate to a different place and other animals. I just asked that they forget daycare if she was not receiving it well. I didn't want her to be too scared. They did exactly what I asked. Had they wanted to increase "my bill", they could have thrown her in day care and I would have never known the difference. Not saying they WOULD have done this, but they are not in this to fleece the customer at the sake of your pet! :) Their FB page is active and kept up throughout the day. I LOVE seeing the pets play and interact w/ each other. Each time I wrote on FB to check on Dix, I seriously received a response in less than five minutes. They posted pics of her on the page even though she was NOT in day care. Ms. Aimee even carried her around for some socialization (she's such a baby!). To add to my stress, my last day in Virginia the traffic was horrible. I couldn't make it back to Fayetteville to pick her up in time. I called and they said it was no issue keeping her another night. I have no idea how much boarding usually costs around here, but their price was VERY reasonable, plus the peace of mind knowing she was being loved on and safe. I know how much my baby means to me and without hesitation I recommend this place for boarding or day care. They took great, individual care of Dixie. Their facility is VERY clean and they have a sizeable business - - that's not easy considering how many pets go through there every day. I will be out of town at the end of August and will take my sweet Dixie back to Ms. Aimee and the other girls. Check them and their facility out in person if you are unsure - - they have pics of their pups hanging up inside on their wall. I love how they take the extra time to showcase their animals. Hope I don't have to leave Dixie here very often, but I am thankful to know I can rely upon them and their care as needed! :)

We have what most would see as a small zoo, and while we loved our…read moreprevious veterinarian office, and would still recommend them, we needed to find a vet that was reasonably priced, but also still had great vet care. Not only are their prices competitive, but the quality of care for our animals has been spectacular. VETS: We highly recommend Dr. Josh and Dr. Totten. Dr. Josh is very thorough in explaining things, and was patient enough to answer the bazillion questions I had when bringing our animals in. Dr. Totten...oh, where do I even start with her. Her heart is huge. You can really tell she has a strong love for all animals, and compassion for the owners as well. I feel like I could just talk to her for hours. Love, love, love her. We've had several emergencies during and after normal business hours, and have always trusted our animals in their care. Vet Techs: The vet techs are phenomenal as well. Jeanette, who is not longer there (moved come back!!!), was by far my favorite. Our animals were treated as if they were her own. We've always been updated in a timely manner on how our animals were doing after procedures/surgeries. Christi is another phenomenal tech. She too treats animals as if they're her own. Cat Boarding: We had to board one of our cats that had just had surgery the week prior. We've always had a pet sitter that came to the house, so I was a wreck when dropping Doof off. I apologize to all of you who had to see me ugly cry when dropping our Doofy Doof (Mr. Fluffermuffins) off for boarding. While we were gone, I got regular updates on how he was doing. Christi (Vet Tech mentioned above) went above and beyond for our Doof. He had to have his E-collar on because of his stitches, and he really didn't like eating while wearing it. Christi would stop through and hand feed him throughout the day so he didn't starve to death. We look forward to seeing their new clinic opening soon!
