Wonderful service and incredible food! Keep them at The Crossover! Free cookies and brownies are nice too :)

I was super excited to try this place especially after seeing them have a steady line of customers at their truck the first hour or so I was at The Fieldhouse at the Crossover. I had also read a few of the most recent reviews which mentioned how great the food was. I should have scrolled further down in the reviews. I ordered 3 kid's cheeseburgers with fries and a Wegular burger with bacon and Parmesan fries. First off, it's pricy for a family of four and everything is a la carte. The food came out quickly and was lukewarm. While the burger itself and the bun were good, they were nothing special. My fries were hard and the Parmesan sauce on the fries is hard to describe other than it was wet, tasted bad and was nothing like Parmesan fries I have enjoyed at other places. The burgers also had varying cooks on them (mine was well done while two of the kids cheeseburgers were closer to medium which I noticed as they were eating it). When I placed my order, I was not asked how I would like them cooked. Overall, this is an experience I will remember for all the wrong reasons and won't repeat.

The Wagyu on Wheels food truck sets up outside of my job every other Wednesday! So today is Wagyu Wednesday! :) The menu is easy breezy! The line goes quickly, they had several people working in the truck today so that helps speed up the service. I posted a pic of their story, it is on the menu. Today, I ordered the Wegular burger and oh my cow... it was so flippin good! Cheesy goodness in every scrumptious bite! The bread is sweet goodness in your mouth! I'd give this burger 10 stars if I could. I also recommend the sweet potato fries, they were crispy and come with a house dipping sauce that was yummy. Overall: friendly service and great quality food at a reasonable price! Cheers to Wagyu Wednesday!!!! See you in a couple of weeks :)

First time trying this place. Very friendly staff and beef is locally raised. Also, I love the outdoor entertainment and area.

The trailer is right next to Night Owl Bar Leander. There's a decent amount of outdoor seating under a large canopy. I asked if I could get the street tacos with one of each. All three of the tacos were great: good portions and great flavors. They came with a small side of chips and different salsas. That was perfect because these tacos came loaded. I had some chips to eat up the parts that felt out. The pork al pastor was my favorite. That's likely what I would order from now on, but everyone has different tastes. Adding this to my list and definitely returning.

I didn't realize they only do normal tacos on Tuesdays! The menu another Yelper posted on here didn't mention that in their photo so that was my mistake. The guy working the truck gave me some recommendations since I was bummed about not having the normal street tacos. I ordered the smoked al pastor and brisket vaquero; same thing for hubby also ordered him the TX smoked tri-tip, which ended up being his favorite! I don't enjoy smoked meats as much but the flavor was still delicious nonetheless. It's located in "downtown" Leander with a few other food trucks nearby.

Best meaty, flavorful barbacoa tacos I've had! Optional toppings of fresh chopped onion and cilantro is the perfect amount. (I always order two, on flour tortillas) They serve it on a PLATE, with slices of fresh RADISH, GRILLED onions, a whole, roasted spicy hot PEPPER, a tasty whole mini POTATO,, fresh made red, green (or both!) SALSA , and a LIME wedge! These are good sized tacos, filled with tender beef. Not overly salted, or greasy, or dripping in orange oil or filled with nasty gristle. Just lovely, perfectly seasoned meat. We also order egg and bacon and egg and potato. Always consistent, fresh and fast. Keep this food truck in business! Order from them! We call in our order ahead, and then go pick it up. Never had a wrong order! They have a, cute, well cared for food truck, friendly staff, the outdoor area for eating/waiting is clean, and an assigned parking area (unpaved) is to the right. *(Try not to use the car wash they share the lot with for parking.) **FYI- Their Cedar Park location has fantastic carne guidsada but they don't offer it in Leander. Only change I'd suggest is to have both at both locations!

Instead at Taco Mana I suggest the Al pastor, carne asada, or others. My favorite so far has been an al pastor tostada, loaded with fresh toppings and a great portion of meat. Next favorite is the torta, served on a nice and soft bolillo roll, then a tie between the gordita and tacos. I see a lot of people getting their ceviche and it looks fantastic, so that's next on my list of things to try. Also, the people running it couldn't be more nice.

I ordered an appetizer as well as 3 main course dishes since there was 3 of us here for dinner. I ordered Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce. I must say I've been searching for the texture and flavor of the same dish that I ordered in Houston a few years ago. I've ordered it numerous times but never found one that duplicated what I remember as so very tasty. Well-this time I hit the jackpot!!! It was the exact taste and texture with the perfect peanut sauce accompanying it. It was fantastic!! One of the entre'es was Pineapple Curry. I chose Shrimp as my protein for an up-charge. It came with a good quantity of white rice. It didn't denote a spice level but when I dug into it -there were some beautiful shrimp swimming in a red curry. I felt it likely it would have some heat and it did. The heat came at the back of my tongue but curiously it tasted so good I couldn't stop eating it!!! It had some grape tomatoes (I think) cooked in it. I didn't care for the flavor of those -?over ripe?- There were a small quantity so I didn't let it stop me. I did take frequent sips of my cold drink in between my bites. The second entre'e was Fried Rice with scrambled egg and peas&carrots&onion. My son chose Chicken Breast as his protein. He doesn't eat veggies so I requested they didn't add them. When we examined the dish they had indeed removed them. He was very impressed and said it was delicious. The 3rd dish was Drunken Spicy Noodles -which was made with Thai Basil and Peppers. I requested the Thai Basil and Peppers be held and advised we wanted no heat in that dish. My husband doesn't tolerate any spice-even black pepper. His dish looked lovely with sauce covered noodles and lots of thinly sliced beef on top. I served it up. Sadly, he immediately advised me it was too spicy for him. I took a piece of broccoli & a small piece of beef and sure enough when I ate it there was enough spice that my tongue and mouth got hot & numb from the spice level. It was actually too much heat for me too. I actually looked at the ticket for the order that was attached to the bag and it clearly had indicated no heat, no peppers and no spice for that last dish. I did withhold a star due to that. It was evident that our food was prepared and served hot as it was still quite warm when it was delivered. I felt that indicated good service. I can't really speak to the setting, I am familiar with that area of food trucks, but since we had delivery, it really didn't apply. I definitely would try BKK again, but next time in person as I feel like you can't clearly communicate in an online order regarding specificity to your requirements for your food.
