I'm always looking for the next great burger spot and decided to give this place a try. Located at the corner of Anderson Mill Road and 183 you'll find this spacious no-frills restaurant with rock music playing overhead. The menu features a good selection of burger options, but they also have protein alternatives, kids meals, hot dogs and cheesesteaks. Whatever you decide on, you can expect the tip screen to be waiting for you. I chose their basic classic cheeseburger with fries. To drink, I just decided on water, but I was pleased to see that they have a good selection of bottled beer, including craft beer. The burger came out with fresh veggies, however, the pattie itself looked as though it had been a previously frozen patty before it was grilled. The fries are not fresh sliced home fries, they are definitely also previously frozen then fried. They were crunchy and decent, but they wouldn't make my list of great fries. The bun itself is unique in that it has a good doughy texture. I don't like the fact that everything is stuffed on to this tiny small 5 x 7" metal tray. Overall it was a decent burger and fries, but it does not make my list of great burger joints. It's on the level of P Terrys more or less. Good, just not great.

Easy to order with a phone call and also in person to pay if you don't wanna pay with a credit card over the phone easy to walk in and music is playing TVs are playing different things lots of area to walk around inside of between booths and tables choices, bathroom labeled very easily to get to Wheelchair accessible also friendly staff. You do have to order and repeat your order a few times because after I said, separate the bags for my food, they still put it all together. They did come to my table instead of yelling for my name that was placed on the order to go, so that was nice to go area house, catchup, and mustard and lemon juice and relish packets for you to take. they do have salads that you can make into a vegan choice. They have different bottle of drinks and cans options on the wall for you to look at for your selection. The menu is big and it's on the wall behind the person that you're gonna order from. you can see the kitchen behind the ordering counter.

    Onion Rings

$5 for 8 onion rings, $11 for a single meat bacon burger, and $3 for a drink. Prices are way too expensive for the quality. You can get a better burger eating fast food.

Don't worry I will finish it

Yes, their prices are a tad on the high side, but well worth it. I just had the Blue Moon burger with truffle parm fries The smash burger was fantastic, but the fries stole the show. They were both crispy and creamy at the same time and the aioli they came with was so much better than ketchup. The atmosphere is laid back and cool as well.

We've been to Moonie's before but this is our first time to the Anderson Mill location. We ordered our usual burgers, the California and the Western, with a side of tots. It took a little while for the food to come out but the burgers and tots were delicious. However we felt that the price we paid didn't match our expectations for how much food we received. The table we sat at was dirty and sticky, and this appeared to be the case for all the tables and booths at this establishment. During our time there, we didn't see any bussers or any worker come out to clean any part of the restaurant. Overall, we probably wouldn't return to this Moonie's.

Nut allergy friendly. I ordered the Diablo with sweet potato fries and tater tots to go and it took about 20 minutes to be ready (arrived early and waited). I sampled the sweet potato fries and tater tots as I picked up my order. The sweet potato fries came out hot and seemingly crispy. I later saw and tasted that they were really just overloaded with salt, which contributed to the texture. (3/5) The tater tots were already soggy when I picked up and weren't anything special. (1.5/5) I will say that the portions of sides are decently generous. The Diablo burger was requested medium rare and I got something closer to medium. It was a very messy to eat burger but I'd say it compares against other specialty burger places. Nice kick with fresh ingredients and decently sized. (3.5/5) Overall I'd say it's an average diner experience with a decent burger.

It took us 4 years to finally make it here, but I can definitely say we left quite satisfied. A few comments. 1. It's more expensive than fast food so don't be shocked 2. The buns are to die for 3. Service was solid and food came out tasting fresh 4. Don't be scared if it's not too crowded, it's worth it. We ordered two burgers and fries and left very full and happy. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the bun simply melts in your mouth. I'm sure we'll be back.

    Order here!

Food was fine, extremely overpriced for regular burgers, but my partner and I got food poisoning. Service was good too though.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff truly make this place special. Huge shoutout to amazing team members Ariel and Emily for being so warm and kind. The chef even made our pup Zoloft a pup cup today, which was such a sweet gesture. The lovely woman who helped us during our last visit also gave Zoloft a pup cup, so they've consistently shown kindness to our little family. They even gave complimentary vegan cookies to guests when we arrived (not sure if it was a special promotion, but such a thoughtful touch!). And the ice cream... WOW. Made with lentils, and honestly some of the best ice cream we've ever had--rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Friendly staff, delicious food, thoughtful service, and creative plant-based treats. Mission Burger is a gem in Austin, and we'll absolutely be back again whenever we return to Austin

There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

The few negative reviews mentioned bland burgers, but the positive ones say these are the best burgers in town. I thought I couldn't be unlucky enough to be in the minority and receive bland burgers, but, boy, was I wrong! NO SEASONING IN THE PATTIES!! Not even salt? If they had just seasoned the patties like they seasoned their fries, my experience would be completely different. An easy 5 stars. But nope. A solid 2, only because of everything other than the patties. We came at around 8pm on a Saturday night and were the only customers, so maybe that should've been a sign. Also the lot felt kinda sketchy in the dark. Idk if I would have wanted to be there alone at night. Food was also ready in 10 minutes, like the guy told us. FRIES: Thick cut, well-seasoned, good. Looked like a steak seasoning on the fries. I liked it, but since they were thick, the center of the fries were bland, unfortunately. Maybe it would've been less noticeable if we ate them right away. Large serving though. My bf and I only got one combo and couldn't finish the fries with each of our burgers. The burgers are big, at 4 inches wide. THOUSAND ISLAND BURGER: I liked it at first because of the thousand island, but for the bites that didn't have it, I noticed that the patty didn't taste seasoned...like at all. I was shocked at how bland it was without the dressing. MUSHROOM BURGER: The mushrooms had no flavor, probably weren't seasoned at all. The burger, overall, was also very bland. Unseasoned patty here too. The ingredients felt fresh, but it was missing the flavor we were expecting. Really disappointing. They gave ketchup packets in the bag, but we didn't remember they were in there before finishing our burgers. It probably would've really helped, but the burgers shouldn't have needed it to be good.
