    Coconut Shrimp
    Courtney B.

I came to this food truck on Friday with The Things (the same day and time I came to Laliguras as these trucks are in the same food truck lot). For those of my Yelp peeps who have read my reviews, y'all know I love some Tom Yum! Tom Yum Goong is a classic Thai-style hot and sour soup. The word "tom" refers to the boiling process, while "yum" translates to "mixed." Tom yum goong nam sai is tom yum with shrimp in a clear broth, while Tom Yum Goong Nam Khon is the creamy milky version. I ordered and prefer the clear version. Flavored with lemongrass, Thai red chiles, garlic, galangal, lime leaves, soy sauce, cremini mushrooms, lime juice, and cilantro, Tom Yum is complex, yet comforting. What I love most about Tom Yum is the flavors of lemongrass, Thai chilies, and fresh lime juice that all combine to create a healthy and soothing broth that will light up your taste buds. The version served here was not only hot with heat, but it was authentic and packed a solid punch. Thing Two ordered Tom yum with chicken and was just as pleased with this soup as I was. Coconut Shrimp Coconut shrimp with an irresistible, guaranteed crunch in every bite. super crispy on the outside, succulent shrimp on the inside -- it doesn't get any better! These shrimp were plump and fresh and were evenly coated with crisp coconut. Thing Two thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer of four shrimp. #supportlocal

The beef (Nuer Yang) was delicious! The light crispness on the edges gave it this charcoal flavor,…read morethe seasonings in the meat were exquisite! Dipping the meat in the included sauce only added to the flavor. A really enjoyable dish! Summer roles w/shrimp were light, fresh and accompanied by a well balanced peanut sauce (I could eat this all day!!). Our app was the golden bags, saw another table order this before and we decided to try it. They looked absolutely amazing, so we had to give it a shot, I was not let down. Crunchy, inside was potato and other ingredients. Well flavored. Not pictured, from previous visits, we had the slow cooked beef curry and the salmon curry. Both of those dishes were out of this world. I'd probably recommend. The salmon over the beef (personal preference). The salmon was tender and paired perfectly with the sauce. We will continue to try other items in the menu as everything thus far has been tip top. The restaurant was very clean, presentation of all the items and silverware was great. Service, the staff was very friendly and delivered our food quickly. BUT I would recommend an additional server as putting our orders in or paying the tab did take a little longer than I like. However, I can overlook that one little bit picky thing as everything else was 5 star! Will be back!!

Stopped by Chada Thai for a late lunch today and left wondering why I hadn't tried it sooner…read more We started with the crispy spring rolls and papaya salad, then moved on to the pad Thai with fried tofu, massaman curry with chicken, and of course a Thai iced tea to round everything out. Honestly, everything was really good and I'd happily order every one of those dishes again. We asked for a low spice level and they nailed it. There was still plenty of flavor and just enough heat to keep things interesting without overwhelming the meal. The restaurant itself was stylish, clean, and comfortable with a modern atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and enjoy lunch. The service was excellent as well -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. If you're looking for quality Thai food in the area, Chada Thai is definitely worth a visit. We'll certainly be back to explore more of the menu.

I literally can't say that there's one thing I don't like getting here. Sometimes we wanna keep it simple and we literally just get the pad Thai with chicken. We always ask for extra peanuts and extra lime which just puts it over the top for us. Tom kha soup is always wonderful on a cold day and the Thai tea here is unbeatable. They have regular portions and lunch portions for several popular items which is great if you do come for lunch, you also get a side salad and a tad smaller portion. It's perfect because it's still very filling and it saves you a little bit of money if you're looking for great Thai food on your own or to take someone to have , please come here. The restaurant isn't very big and seating gets crowded when it's packed but most days the turnover is pretty fast and the wait is never long. It's is not very loud for how small a space it is which is a plus.

They have spice levels 1-10 which was nice, I got a spice level of 4 for my curry and 8 for the fried rice and it was good. I also got the try their mango sticky rice which was sooo good. The service was great and we were able to be seated immediately for a party of 4 on a sunday night.

Henry was a very good server. Seems to enjoy his job. I stopped in for lunch. I have eaten here…read moremany times before. It has been one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants-and one of the only places to serve the Vietnamese pancake that I love. I sat down, getting ready to contemplate the menu. I was shocked to see it was a brand new menu. I asked my server about it, and he concurred that it is a new menu, but that the owners had taken many of the former choices off. . NO more fried rice-always my grandson's favorite. Although I was disappointed when it was time to order, I chose the Mixed Protein Bun. I requested shrimp and eggrolls. It is a bowl filled with rice noodles, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and your choice of protein. It also comes with a generous portion of fish sauce. After one bite, I knew that the old chef must have left. My food was so bland. To start with, I don't think it was salted at all..... which quite often affects the flavors negatively. There were no other spices or sauce or anything tasty in my bowl. I was very disappointed. I didn't even eat a quarter of the Bun. I didn't take the rest to go and I won't be returning, unless I see that they have returned to their former style of cooking. So I'll definitely be watching the reviews. It makes me very sad to have to write a negative review, especially about a place. I have enjoyed so much in the past!!!

Always a favorite - great service and delicious food…read more This time had the Pho with chicken and an order of the Banh xeo with shrimp. The Pho was excellent as always. Interesting my wife found the Banh Leo excellent ( which it usually is ) but I found it a tad greasy this time. Regardless this is a great place for lunch, and will be back!
