I have been a patient of Dr.Wahid. he is a Great Doctor. But his Front office and Maria that does referrals is where the 1 star comes in. I had a small Heart attack on Dec 9th. Doctor said he wanted me to se a cardiologists. Here it is Jan. 28th and im still waiting for referral doctor put me on Disability. I had to pay 100.00 to have paperwork filled out. Then I had to pay another 75.00 because doctor extended 4 more weeks. Then I had to pay 35.00 for FMLA Paperwork for work. Everytime im Seen they bill my insurance that I have physically therapy. I don't Have Physically therapy. Im literally in the office with the doctor for 5=15 mins. I have found a New doctors office. read more

Dr. Wahid is the nicest Doctor you can ask for! He's super understanding, will listen to you, and will talk to you about anything you ask about! He's straight to the point. The staff and himself make me feel comfortable. Making appointments is also so easy! I went in for a regular check up because I haven't been to a doctor in a couple years. So, he understood and he sent over paperwork to Quest I got blood work taken at Quest which was also quick and easy! He answered all my questions. February 2024 - Dr Wahid is very caring. Lena his M.A. and Mike his R.N. assisted him are also very caring. They are wonderful for both medical and aesthetic needs. Dr. Wahid is a great doctor but unfortunately customer service has gone downhill over the years. I find it very disheartening that I received a "courtesy" call this morning about an overdue balance that is about to be sent to collections. However I have never received a bill in the mail or any correspondence from his office regarding this past due amount. The employee that called was rude and could not advise of why I was never previously advised of this past due balance. She just reiterated "this is a courtesy call". Update!!! Don't write bad review on their actual website if your hoping to be scheduled another appointment by them. Something I said to inform other and for the clinic to take action on and change for the better for their patients. Same thing I said in the message below they put me on a do not schedule patient. Unbelievable that you speak your concerns and they block you. Mike has been great to my husband with his medical needs. He's awesome and truly cares about helping you. Now here is why I did 1 star.... Good luck getting ahold of anyone!!! You can't just call and get to speak to office staff. It's an automated system that just goes in circles. They might respond back in a text a few hours later if your lucky. Every time I called for a follow for my husband it was 2-3 days of back and forth calls and text to get to the dr! Worst Dr. ever. I had a fractured arm to which he replied, "I don't know why you are here, we don't have x-rays." I was provided dilaudid without asking if I was allergic to it. I have asthma, which is in my chart, and dilaudid can slow or stop your breathing. Horrific reaction! He placed me on Short Term Disability. Then he had his receptionist tell me me to find another Dr., and would not release me from disability to return to work. That is patient abandonment, which I should have brought to the medical board. Worst run office ever. A student nurse would be a better option. read more

Horrible experience from my first call to the first (and last) office visit. I've been having some carpal tunnel symptoms caused by a pinched nerve in my neck. I have insurance through Kaiser and went to their website for info on chiropractic care. Their website says to follow the link to see which offices take Kaiser insurance at a discounted rate of a $15 copay per visit. Wahed Medical was the only one available within our town. Dr. Kevin Tran was listed so I made my first phone call to schedule an appt. When they answered the phone, they instantly put me on hold. I was on hold for over 12 minutes before hanging up because I couldn't wait any longer. I called back at the end of the day and when the young lady answered I said "oh wow! I'm surprised someone answered, I was on hold for over 12 minutes earlier". The girl joked "someone's getting fired, it wasn't me!" I told her I was scheduling an appt because I found their info on the link provided by Kaiser. She said to bring my insurance card when I come in. The day before my appt, I received a call and voicemail from someone in their office reminding me of the appt. When I went to call the number back to ask a question, the number they called me from does not belong to the office so it just made a horrible noise when I tried to call. So I went back to Kaiser's website, clicked the link, and found the office number to ask if my daughter can come in with me to watch. When I called, the girl answered the phone and instantly put me on hold. I was on hold for two rotations through the music and phone ringing where she put me on hold again. Eventually she answered and said that I could bring my daughter in the room. The morning of my appt, I show up and hand her my Kaiser card. She starts to do some stuff and then I ask if she needs my ID too. She said she didn't need my ID. Then she says that their office doesn't accept Kaiser. I explain to her the only reason I even knew their office existed is because I found their info listed as a place that accepts Kaiser. She said "he accepts Kaiser at his Merced office". I said "his Merced office wasn't listed on the website. This office was" as I pulled it up on my phone to show her. She said "I'll go ask the doctor." She came back after about a minute and said "He doesn't accept Kaiser at this location." This is not how you run a medical practice. You don't agree to provide a service to someone and then not provide it once they show up. She did not provide me an alternate option as far as paying out of pocket, billing Kaiser later, etc. When you're in pain, the last thing you want to worry about is if your doctor is going to be shady with accepting your insurance. Wow where do we start ? We were using this practice when Dr Ramos still had it and Wahid was the secondary well let's just say this place has went nowhere but down since changing hands. My Daughters will not go to him because they feel uncomfortable around him. We continued to go because god his NP Miss Aggie. She has now left the practice and it continued to get worse. We have to call numerous times to follow up on prescriptions referral blood work you name it we have to babysit them or we never get our results. They tell you if we don't call then everything is good yet I was told by Quest Diagnosis last time I was there for bloodwork if my dr shared my results from 2 years prior and I said no why and she showed me the results. Low testosterone levels high blood pressure and few other small things out of line but did we ever here from Wahid ? Nope when asked why we were met with blame and resistance all of which is unprofessional. I've been waiting over 4 months for a referral and called yesterday and nobody seems to know anything about it always putting it off on so everyone else. So if you like Dr who is in it for the profit and number of patients seen daily this is your place but if you truly care about your future and health you will leave this practice now. You also diagnosed me with depression putting me on meds only to go to a specialist to find out I had Complex PTSD and not depression and your meds made my condition worse so thank you for that. Giving this dr & his staff 1star is way too much credit. I called 5 days in advance of running out of my blood pressure pills. After 2 days of calling to ck on the status of the refill I started taking the pills every other day. Then I ran out of the blood pressure pills so I kept calling them every day & telling them how many days I was without my pills & they kept telling me he was too busy to sign the refill. @ day 7 my fiancee went down in person & complained & I got my refill on day 8. With my thyroid pills I called in a week early for a refill. After 2 weeks of calling & getting no where & no pills for 1 week dr Wahid said he never filled this Rx for me & that I must os got it fr another dr. After going back & forth w them for 2 days in this on I finally had to take a pic of my Rx bottle that proves that he prescribed it for me. All he or his staff had to do was look @ my file to see this but no, they don't do that.. this in a the worst office I have ever gone to.. read more

I'd love to give this place a better review, I really would.. But I truly cannot with this last experience. Like any business or company, there are always pros and cons; things that make you proud and happy to be a part of, and of course negative aspects that ruin and tarnish your experience. Our time with this practice has been tarnished. Pros: Dr. Wahid. He has proven himself warm and kind hearted throughout all of the years he has provided care for my family. He is extremely knowledgeable and we are more than happy to call him our doctor. Cons: Communication. The communication between doctors, nurses/ ma's, receptionists, and patients is horrible. The nurse's station NEVER answers their calls regardless of the situation. We have tried time after time to contact them to ask certain questions or to bring up a concern (Waiting for referral for over 2 months mainly) and are never able to get in contact with anyone. The front desk receptionist (specifically the heavier set blonde) is extremely rude, and unreceptive of the patient's issues. Don't be surprised when you ask a question to have her roll her eyes, turn, and go back to her computer leaving the main receptionist dealing with your concerns, phones calls, patients questions and scheduling all by herself (She is very nice and great greeting) . There have been several scheduling conflicts and miscommunication that simply wastes our time and money. We tried scheduling my nieces Physical. We went in for her Physical (first time), and guess what?? She wasn't due for her Physical, so... rescheduled. How disappointing??... Knowledge. I mean. If you don't know how to do something, do not assume and do it. If you don't know how to do something ask, learn or go back to school. I finally took my nice for her Physical (second visit). The girl who administered my niece's shots does not know how to properly give shots (skinny pale Japanese one). She also didn't know what shots were scheduled for her visit. I will be graduating in one semester and hopefully becoming a Registered Nurse, so I know she didn't know what she was doing, she also forgot to give us the Doctor's orders for my niece's labs. I had to return back into the room and ask for it. Thankfully the other nurse (the other skinny one) informed us the lab test could be performed at the office without need of using needles (That was great). Maintenance. The room we were assigned to was NOT clean!! The bed sheet were used from the previous patient!! Dr. Wahid, please reevaluate your Staff and protocols less gossiping between the receptionist and the nurses will be appreciated * On a positive note, I'd like to highlight one aspect of your organization that has been an absolute pleasure. The main receptionist (the tall one) and the nurse (the skinny darker one) (I'm sorry I forget your names), is one of the last reasons that keeps us willing to return. They are kind, polite, professional, and always a pleasure to interact with.
