Work on Christmas.... wait, I already do that..... Anyway. Not a fan. But Wahoo Family Dentistry makes a trip to the dentist, as painless as possible. I always appreciate them holding me as I cry and telling me to stop being a sissy. Just kidding. But they really do make things as painless as possible and always take the time to slow down and talk through what they are doing to my little people. I have a child who likes the dentist even less than me & I never thought he would have made it through his cleaning and checkup... but he did. They comforted him when he was upset and were able to get his mind off the process. They have always referred us to great places as well for outside care of orthodontics. Kudos to you Wahoo Dentist. They are flexible with my schedule & send reminders because let's face it, I struggle to remember & be places I'm excited to go, & the dentist isnt one of those places. Thank you for all you do! I just stopped by the Wahoo Family dentist's office to see if I could be seen. The receptionist asked "are you a patient here?" I said no and tried explained my dilemma. She cut me off and said "you will need to get an appointment." I said "I will probably need to go to Omaha then." In a short manner she said, "we are fully booked today!" I can understand if they could not get me in, but the lack of concern,shortness and indifference was a bit disconcerting. Dr. Hart may be an excellent dentist but his office staff have a problem. I was told of another dentist in Wahoo. I thought the same thing would happen but I stopped in anyway. The experience was completely The receptionist really seemed concerned. She went back and talked to the doctor. When she came back, she said "he will see you in between appointments." The doctor cleaned around the gum, took an X-ray and gave me a prescription. When I was leaving I told the receptionist I appreciated her concern." She laughed and said, " I'm a pretty good actress." When going to a dentist, it's not often you get good care, and a laugh at the same time.

Out there, to my surprise, I was told by my dentist that I had 8 cavitites. Here in Blair, Dr. Barta reviewed my x-rays, took his own, and told me that I didn't have any cavities and would feel guilty taking my money. He noted that some of my fillings were old, but replacing them would weaken my teeth and was not necessary. He didn't even charge me for the x-rays or taking up his time to review my teeth.
