They have no problem ignoring you and even giggle about it and talk trash about you while talking trash about their co-workers. If you ask them for help they tend to get fussy. I've seen this happen many times at THIS LOCATION and it's happened to me too. This was at night too and I've noticed that this location, particularly at night, has very rude employees. At the ending of the day it is a gas station and I'm there to get what I need and be on my way. Their food is great, I must say. The fried chicken and potato wedges--or even bentos is a MUST when stopping there. ***I was just there last night, 7/14/26 and there were 2 employees on the floor talking smack about one of their co-workers. I grabbed what I needed and waited at the register. The employee was standing about 6 feet away from me making drum noises on a pile of boxes and I asked her if anyone was at the register. She said "Yeah, SHE IS" and pointed to the other employee pulling trash from the hot food area. There was also another customer standing behind me waiting to check-out. The drumming of boxes continued too from the other employee.*** If you don't need to go there, go to the next gas station. They are my "emergency only" gas station and when on empty I'll put in $10 (when I actually need $85-$100) and fill up at the next gas station that deserves the business. 5 stars for food and 1 for customer service.

I bypassed said stand for Mr. K's Takeout, which is mostly sushi and rolls, kludged bowls and spam musubi, if you're into that kind of thing. With all due respect, eating spam is like chewing on my own overboiled, oversalted, oozing-with-grease tongue, and you better believe that was hard coming from me, someone who loves pork so very much. ANYWAY, Mr. K's is so teeny-tiny you could sneeze and the wind would hit the back wall, but the mother and son who man the joint are incredibly pleasant; the son in particular should instruct in customer service; what a nice kid. I had a lovely somen salad with egg and fish cake and ham (NOT SPAM), and it was just the right thing before hitting the beaches down the way, in particular that one in between Waialea and Hapuna... locals will know which beach I'm talking about, wink wink nudge nudge.

While hundreds of cars passed with no one asking if we are ok/need help etc...Mac Pulled over asking what we need. I explained I didn't have money in me (he wasn't concerned) I will be paying shortly...he towed our car out of harms way...he jumped the battery but it was to weak (our battery) to accept a charge/start our Miata. He explained/physically helped push start the car. Without his help, I was at a severe loss and ready to give up. Can't say enough good things. He has great energy.
