Filipino Food! Plate Lunch inside KTA!
    MaZe F.

Emma's Kitchen inside KTA has delicious Filipino food! 2 choices for $15.99! Highly recommend!

Across the street from foodland. Some items are less expensive here and vice versa. I do like the sweets here a little bit more. They have a wider variety. Also we really appreciate the store workers here they are so friendly. We bought flowers here all very nice.

Two $30 fruit baskets freshly made

They made two lovely fruit baskets for us in under 30 minutes and were so friendly! The baskets were $30 each and of a good size!

This market offered most variety of food from regular groceries to prepackaged foods to pastries. We bought few items to take with us to the airport. Perfect portion and freshly made. Highly recommend when in Waimea!!

It's ok. A little tired but it was well stocked and had most everything we wanted. I guess it was fine for the size of this town.

Local market for the freshest and most affordable poke. The fish definitely looked and smelled fresher than Sack N Save.

It was a donation from the Benioff's to DOE and it takes a ton of work to do the requests. No one would ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever,e ver, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever answer the phone to check stock. I tried to pick it up at the store. I live an hour and 10 minutes away. Order cancelled because, although the website said it was there, it wasn't, so the system cancels but did not notify anyone at Donor's Choose or me. THIS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES, FOUR DRIVES TO KONA AT $40 A POP. I spoke with two floor and one customer service manager and those ding dongs absolutely would not hold the PAID FOR TV until I came to get it because I had already spent $160 of my money, not my school's to pick it up. They just could not figure it out, It took me over an hour to get a store manager to agree to keep his eye out and then put it in his office so it wouldn't get sold. That never happened. It was in the back with all of the other stuff in the back. Luckily, I came back the next day, so $200 in gas. Such a ghetto organization. Shameful how poor the customer service is. It is so embarrasing because people from other places that understand how customer service works come to Kona and get to experience how stupid people are..... And another thing- I never buy food at Target because it is always expired. I happened to pick up a bag of popcorn on sale because I was hungry- Expired again and I didn't notice until half the bag was gone. Target, you should replace your managers and service people. They have failed miserably. No one should have to endure such stupidity. I already cancelled my card and I am boycotting due to your cancellation of Diversity and Equality, but people still gotta know that you are feeding them old, expired food.

My main CPAP machine is in Ohio, and I began to realize my need for a machine here (not fun or productive to be groggy every day in Hawaii!). I called and received some initial information, and I was later able to go in and purchase an amazing, portable CPAP device. But most of all, the entire staff of this family-run business went above and beyond- from arranging to look up my prescription and previous sleep study in Ohio, to activating the machine, pairing it with the phone app, and generally making sure I was comfortable with the equipment. I started the day with a need, and I'm ending it with everything I need for a good night's sleep. Fantastic! I will direct anyone who needs medical supplies to Ban-Nix. 5+ Stars!!

Their pharmacy is very tight quarters but they seem to work well as a team. Amazing the quantity they handle .... though some drugs are too 'exotic' for such a small location. In addition to the resident populace of Waikoloa (well over 3500), many of which are retired and need a variety of medications, there are a large amount of vacation travelers who also have odd needs. KTA is a small outfit and cannot meet the needs of many , but they do handle substantial. Longs or Foodland in Waimea has what this little pharmacy doesn't though , and they're only 20 minutes away.

I had my shot there and i had to sit in a grocery aisle with people walking within a foot of me. I noticed no masks or gloves on cashiers and a big advertising policy that said the opposite. ..be safe etc. Now recently i noticed again that the pharmacy has really bad sanitation procedures. For example, they don't clean the key pad or the pen used for most transactions. The associates dont wear masks and are in close proximity with each other, and with a hundred potentially very ill people daily. I commented and the reply was 'we dont have to'. Associates hand product to a customer, customers maybe hand it back with germy hands. i watched as someone wiped their nose then handed money over. So..I called the company and they had someone call me back. Reply? 'well if you dont like it take your business elsewhere.' no kidding. So..be very afraid. Not sanitizing is a company policy they defend. and besides is it a great idea to shop at a grocery store that has sick people walking through where kids and old folks might have risk from their big sneeze?
