The house was a great fit for our family however it was literally crawling with bugs (roaches, centipedes, millipedes, silverfish)! I called the office and left a message when no one answered. I NEVER heard back from them! It was so bad in my youngest adult son's bedroom downstairs that he couldn't even sleep in the room. He ended up sleeping on the downstairs couch all week. My husband called them towards the end of the week and it took 8 tries before anyone even answered the phone. The house was one of the most expensive we have ever rented on SML. You would think there would be some pest control at the house!

I don't know where to begin except to say it's been several years and I am still repairing things after a major disaster, renting to a family that ignored the contract. I felt I had no support from CB Rental. First red flag was an appliance that needed replacing which was replaced within 48 hrs. That didn't seem suitable to the agent and I was told, " you pick one out or I will." Yes, the renter had a loss from the appliance not working , but they didn't get renter's insurance, as suggested . The renter could have been seen as being distinguished and privileged, and a good prospect as a renter, however they showed no respect for my home. Animals ( pets) were slipped into my home and caused a lot destruction. I asked the renter to leave and unfortunately many household things seemed to have gone with them.. I practically begged the agent to do a repeat walk through of my home after it was vacated, they refused. They also refused to share any pictures they had taken during the renters exit period. that clearly showed damaged. Many items were destroyed. I asked the agent to hold the deposit, that didn't happen. I got a check for less than 50.00. In summing up my review, this experience was one of the most difficult I ever faced. I regret ever meeting the agency owner. I will never understand the 5 star reviews that I've seen posted in their site.

If they didn't have the immediate answer to a question they always quickly researched the issue and got back to us quickly with the answer. David is very knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding area and knows the real estate market well. He was very honest in assessing each property visited. On the day of closing David made sure we knew how to use all of the home's many amenities. He also has a lot of contacts for various services in the area to help make connections for repairs and maintenance if needed. David was also able to provide financing suggestions. I would not hesitate to recommend David Simon for buying or selling property. He will go the extra mile to make sure you have an easy and successful buying or selling experience.

This was greatly appreciated and spared us all a lot of back and forth Q&A. We were fortunate to sell our property quickly and used the staging recommendations his wife offered. While the offer came quickly, closing posed challenges based on the buyers. David hung with us throughout the entire process and really went the extra mile. He helped coordinate the repairs needed on the home using his local network; drove around town to have forms signed quickly and even shoveled the entire drive so trucks could get in after a heavy snow. We are appreciative of his efforts; his great upbeat personality and helping us see everything through to closing. We highly recommend David.

They informed my boyfriend he can still move in ALONE and initially I told him no but then I thought about it and told him he can go ahead and get the place for himself. I was in the process of looking for my own place alone. He told me he applied again and asked if I could check on his application because of his work schedule he cannot contact them. So I contacted them and was informed by customer service they would forward the questions and ask the office for an update. Today my boyfriend received a NASTY and unprofessional email. Stating for his co-applicant to stop contacting them about his application because I was rejected. In the message they made sure to make it clear that I cannot move in with him which I already knew. I will be contacting the better business bureau because this business needs to be reported for their unprofessional behavior. I work in corporate and know this is not how you handle matters in a professional way.

The vines are getting in the gutters which in the long run will cause the owner more money. This is unsafe and unsanitary. It causes mice, rats, snakes, raccoons, and there is a skunk hanging around in the back yard. Very unpresentable. There is a for rent sign in the front yard and it is very unprofessional to advertise this way. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
