    Honey latte Vanilla latte
    Dyamond J.

Coffee was great. I got the honey latte. It was very good, you could really taste the honey. I went on Sunday and there were only two people working but I was able to get my coffee pretty quickly. That being said there is NO breakfast on Sundays which was very disappointing. They are able to make bagels on Sunday but when I asked for a bagel and butter they were also out of butter.. so no place for me. I would try this place again but on the weekend. The coffee was great and the baristas were kind and informed.

We finally made it in for food and coffee. I got a London fog and the bacon breakfast sandwich. My husband got an Americano and the avocado toast. It all was great & I thought it was a really great price point. The staff was helpful and super friendly. It was clean and I would come here again.

Bacon egg and cheese on an everything sourdough bagel

We went mid-morning this previous Saturday. The place was busy and I soon understood why. I got an iced matcha latte with pumpkin cold foam and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything sourdough bagel. I loved everything. Both were really good. It seems as if the bagels are freshly made there and the bacon was thick and tasty. It was the best bacon egg and cheese I've had in the city. I will definitely return.

So delicious! The coffee was amazing. I had a pistachio and raspberry latte and it was devine. The brulee cheesecake was beautiful, along with the chocolate chip cookies and ube lavender Swiss roll.

The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The baristas were great as well. I had a wake and bacon sandwich, which was clearly made fresh. The egg yolk was even a bit runny, which I love, and the bacon was thick and extremely flavorful. The pumpkin cream cheese muffin was delicious, even the next day. I also had their seasonal s'mores latte which was fun with ghosts on the cup and delicious! They also recycled an oat milk container into a drink carrier. I will definitely be back!

I stopped in here not exactly sure what they had but I'm happy I did, I ordered two green tea matcha's worth oat milk with strawberry cold foam It was delicious and refreshing. Restaurant was clean and bright they also had bakery items I can't wait to stop again to try them. Employee Jordan was pretty awesome she was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

Love coming into this coffee shop. Such a great add to 3rd st. The inside is filled with friendly faces and cool local art. Not to mention the drinks are insanely good. Anything. And the baked goods!! BUT you have to get the wake n bacon sandwich!

Wake and bacon sandwich and an egg bacon and cheese with turkey sausage. With a extra sweet iced campfire chain latte.

Coda Rouge, I commend you for a superb Valentine's Day dinner…read more I've experienced lunch at Coda Rouge a few times, but this special occasion, the five-course prix fixe aphrodisiac menu, was next-level dining. Why? The opportunity to experience the live painting artwork by Bryan "Prolifik" Hickman, artist and creator of the Tuskegee Airman mural on the side wall of Coda Rouge. The added ambiance of Singer's Lounge, Phebe West, singing lovely, familiar tunes. And last but not least, the intimacy of meeting Coda Rouge chef, Sachiko Tashiana, who trained under renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. And all hands on deck from the chef's family, who helped make the evening special. Finally, the presentation of each of the five courses and the food was superb. If you have never experienced Coda Rouge, you must add it to your short list of Harrisburg fine dining experiences.

When we pulled in, the parking lot was packed, so I expected a long wait. Instead, we found a spot, ordered, ate, and were back in the car in under 50 minutes. They have this place running incredibly efficiently. We ordered the Staycation Flight and an Upside Down Latte, and every drink was fantastic. My favorite was the Sandy Cheeks a brown sugar and peach chai topped with homemade brown sugar whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. The Upside Down Latte was surprisingly refreshing, and I loved that the coffee drinks actually tasted like coffee instead of just flavored milk. For breakfast, we had the Crab Hash & Eggs and The Bee Sting. The Crab Hash was amazing, especially if you love seafood for breakfast. But The Bee Sting completely stole the show. Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, folded egg, chive cream cheese, and hot honey on an everything bagel... absolute perfection. It was messy in the best way, and I wanted another one even though I was completely stuffed. Our total, including tip, was just over $50, which felt very reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with people of all ages, and despite how busy it was, everything moved quickly. The only small downside is getting into the parking lot if you're coming from the opposite direction, but that's a minor inconvenience for food this good. We'll absolutely be back. Valley Bistro has earned a spot on our list of favorite breakfast spots.

Knowing Father's Day would probably be busy, I decided to do my homework ahead of time. Before we even left the house, I used First Watch's online "Check In" feature to get our name on the list while we were driving there. The website estimated a 10 to 20 minute wait and instructed us to let the hostess know when we arrived. Perfect! Or so I thought... About 15 minutes later, we walked through the doors...into absolute chaos. The lobby was PACKED with people waiting for tables despite the fact that roughly half the dining room appeared to be sitting empty. I squeezed my way through the crowd, made it to the hostess stand, gave her my name and mentioned that I'd already checked in online. "Great," she said. "It'll be 20 to 25 minutes." Wait...what? So the online check-in that said we'd be waiting 10 to 20 minutes...didn't actually accomplish anything? If I'd known we'd still be waiting another half hour after arriving, we honestly would have chosen somewhere else that accepted reservations or true call-ahead seating. The online check-in created expectations that simply weren't met. About 20 minutes later, we were finally seated. Unfortunately, things didn't improve. We sat for another 15 minutes before our waitress stopped by to take drink orders. We decided to order all of our food immediately because we weren't confident we'd see her again anytime soon. Good decision! The coffee arrived fairly quickly. The water...tap water, not fancy water, not bottled water, not water that required any preparation other than being put into a glass bottle and carried to the table, showed up about 10 minutes later. Here's what we ordered: Million Dollar Bacon ($6.29) - four slices of hardwood-smoked bacon glazed with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and syrup. This was absolutely phenomenal! If nothing else, order this (or learn to make it at home so you can avoid an excessive wait at First Watch to eat it). Sweet, smoky, just enough heat...this absolutely lived up to the hype! Power Wrap ($11.49) - egg whites, turkey, spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella in a sun-dried tomato basil tortilla with fresh fruit. The wrap itself was really good. The fruit was a mixed bag. The grapes were great, but the pineapple was still hard and noticeably underripe. At this point in the meal, I wasn't surprised and definitely wasn't going to try to get it fixed. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes ($13.29) - these were also really good. The lemon curd completely stole the show and made the pancakes. The menu advertised seasonal berries, which turned out to be strawberries. They were perfectly fine, though I probably would have expected blueberries this time of year. The Works Omelet (FREE BECAUSE THE ORDER WAS NOT CORRECT) - this was my stepdad's Father's Day breakfast. He ordered it WITHOUT onions. It arrived with EXTRA onions. By that point, our waitress had disappeared again, so rather than wait another 20 minutes for a remake, I flagged down another employee near the kitchen. I explained that we'd waited long enough already and simply wanted the omelet removed from the bill instead of remade. To their credit, they handled that professionally and removed it without any argument. While I had someone's attention, I also requested plates for the Million Dollar Bacon appetizer that had been sitting on our table for about 15 minutes and asked if my mom's meal could please be brought out since everyone else's food had already arrived quite a while earlier. Our final bill came to just over $44 after tax and tip. Even after everything that happened, I still left our waitress a 25% tip. It was Father's Day, the restaurant was clearly overwhelmed, and I try to assume people are doing the best they can with what they've got. That said...it was obvious something wasn't working. Whether they were understaffed, overwhelmed by the Father's Day crowd, or simply having an off day, the entire experience felt disorganized from beginning to end. The online check-in wasn't accurate, service was painfully slow, food came out at different times, one meal was prepared incorrectly, and our server disappeared for long stretches throughout the meal. Ironically, the food itself was actually pretty good. If I were reviewing only the Million Dollar Bacon, it would easily earn five stars. Unfortunately, restaurants are more than just food. For me, the overall experience matters just as much. There are simply too many excellent local breakfast and brunch spots to justify returning after an experience like this. I'm glad my stepdad's omelet was removed from the bill, and I appreciate that the staff made that right, but I left more frustrated than impressed. First Watch may have just had a really bad Father's Day. But based on my first experience, I don't think I'll be back to find out.

We were checked on frequently as we perused the menu, which was appreciated. Once we put in our order, we had a bit of a wait for the food to come out, even though it wasn't super busy inside, which was fine. We received the food on piping hot plates, and everything looked great. I had shrimp tacos and was surprised they weren't served in the traditional taco holder, as I'd seen in photos from reviews. They were served flat on the hot plate. All the ingredients and sauces on the tacos made the corn tortilla shell soggy, to the point where I couldn't pick up any of my three tacos at all and had to eat them with a fork and knife. Each taco had 2 grilled shrimp, which were delicious, but they really need to be plated differently or served as a double tortilla shell so you can actually eat them. It came with a side of black beans/pico, which I was SO excited about, but my side dish of beans was mostly juice and maybe only 3 forkfuls of actual beans. You're only given a fork and a knife in your silverware, so I couldn't even try to make the best of it. I would've asked for a spoon, but our server didn't check on us for refills or anything once the food was dropped off. I will say - my husband got the steak and egg bowl and it was DELICIOUS. The steak was so tender and juicy and perfectly cooked, as were the potatoes. I do think it was a smaller portion for the price, but we both loved his dish. I'd definitely come back for that. He finished eating before me because I was struggling to eat tacos with a fork, but we still waited a while after we finished to get a small box and our check. Overall, we'd maybe come back, but it seems hit-or-miss based on what you order and who your server is. One drink and two entrees were $50, so we'd likely choose another spot before stopping here again.
