The photo is just one of several displays how poor the service is here. I've had a medication on hold for over a week. I have now retired calling several times over four days and I have yet to talk to anyone other then they answer, say please hold send then never v come back to the phone. As in never. So my delayed medication still isn't filled. Then we have the issues trying to transfer my medication's from Walmart. They told me at Walgreens to use the app on the phone, so I have. That has been three weeks now and all I have done is resubmit at least half a dozen times and still not one medication has been transferred over. It seems that not only does the Walgreen app not function correctly but their employees do not even care about their customers getting their prescriptions in a timely manner that probably or for health reasons. Sounds like they might be in the wrong line of work it maybe Walgreens should do a complete overhaul of their staffing. read more

I went here to buy Walgreens brand of needles in the picture for my son's insulin pens. The older hispanic man at the pharmacy window refused to sell them to me. He said they weren't allowed I don't know what was wrong with him. I had just called and the person who i spoke to on the phone gave me the price and said yes we have some in stock. I said i'll be right down. Then I get there and man at the counter told me he wouldn't sell them to me. I told him they even sell the same thing on amazon. Constant issues with getting prescriptions filled. Have called and spoke to multiple pharmacy employees and get a different story. I've been told by one employee that my prescription would be filled and ready for pick up on a specific date. When that date arrives, I call to confirm and have another employee tell me they have no record of the prescription. I continue to follow up and told the prescription will be filled on a specific date. I arrive in person and was told by an employee that the prescription is in the system, but not noted to fill. Walgreens pharmacy has been a huge waste of time trying to get prescriptions filled. I've noticed customers having to wait long periods of time to receive their prescriptions because the facilities system is unorganized and inconsistent in locating customers prescriptions in there facility. I get a sense of huge disorganization and inconsistencies with their computer system and their filing system of medication once filled. Now that CVS customers are utilizing Walgreens due to CVS closure. This problem is only gonna get worse. Extremely disappointed this Pharmacy. read more

I dont have many prescriptions to pick up but everytime I come here they take so absolutely long..the drive thru takes just as long as if he went inside, if not longer. There is no sense of experiencing, I've been there several times and every time they say "would you like us to turn on your text notification so you get a notification when your prescription is ready?" I spent over an hour waiting for a drug that I never got. I started in the drive-through line that never moved for over 20 minutes, so I parked and went inside. There was one customer in front at the window. She stayed for over 20 minutes, so I went back in my car to try the drive-through again. Another 20 minutes waiting for the car in front that never moved, so back inside I went. I FINALLY got to the window where I was told my insurance rejected my regular drug and so I was told to take a seat while it went to "recovery". Another 20 minutes of waiting. I finally just left without the drug. All this took place after I tried to call them and was put on hold for 30 minutes with someone answering and immediately putting me on hold THREE times! At the beginning of the year my health insurance changed and that meant the Pharmacy I used to use was no longer covered, only the "Corporate" Pharmacies are. I chose Walgreens due to its proximity to my house. Huge mistake! Only had to go for 2 months already my medications are not getting filled because this location, and apparently all of them up in the High Desert have completely run out of a medication that I have taken for over 10 years! They also have all the seasonal stuff you need but forgot about until the last minute. I am always here finding stuff for my kids class parties because target is sold out and I need stuff now lol. Makeup and bath stuff is always on sale here so you will find a bargain. They have a saver card but I've never been able to understand the concept of it. Just a quick review to express my true appreciation to the Walgreens pharmacy, and especially Melissa who was working at the time of my visit to the location. To make a long story short my wife had surgery and after a 13 hour day getting her to the hospital and waiting for the process to be completed, we returned home to Apple Valley. I went to fill her prescriptions to get her through the pain and the night after the surgery. Unfortunately our usual pharmacy (Walgreens at Navajo and Hwy 18) was out of one of the medications, so I had to find a different pharmacy. I ended up at the Walgreens on Apple Valley Rd and Bear Valley Rd. I spoke with the clerk, Melissa, and explained my situation. Melissa was very helpful and compassionate, her customer service was professional and caring, and she exemplified the type of service and image every business would be proud of from their employees. Walgreens pharmacy at Apple Valley Rd and Bear Valley Rd, and especially Melissa, were awesome and deserve to be recognized for their exceptional customer service and business practices. I like this Walgreens because it is close to me, of course! The store always seems to be pretty stocked with what I'm looking for. I LOVE their rewards program! I constantly get to check out with my free $5! Shopping there isn't the cheapest... BUT if you wait for the ads and other manufactured coupons, you can get some PRETTY cool deals! Especially if you clip them digitally on their website! As long as you make sure they are added on your Balance Rewards Card. The staff for the MOST part are VERY kind and friendly! I have only run across a FEW sour employees... but for the most part they are very welcoming! Also their photo dept. does a GREAT job with pictures! read more

Walgreens, 201 Main St Gloucester. I shopped this store onFriday, April 3rd at 3:05 pm. I read in a Walgreens press release that their stores were all fully stocked and they were enforcing limits on how many items customers could purchase of hard to find/essential products such as cleaning supplies: disinfecting and sanitizing products such as bleach, alcohol, as well as disinfecting wipes, toilet paper etc. l also read that Walgreens was doing everything they could to promote social distancing and safety for the workers and customers. THIS COULDN'T BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH! Not only were shelves completely empty in some aisles, there were no signs indicating limits on anything. A woman in front of me had her wheeled cart filled with 8 containers of bleach wipes, at least 10 bottles of 60% alcohol (I noticed because I looked for some myself - too late that shelf was empty) a lot of boxes of tissues and multiple packs of toilet paper. This was one person! As for social distancing: there are no marks on the floor, walls, signs, aisles to keep customers 6' apart. There's an attempt in the pharmacy area for those in line but customers were less than 3' apart. Nothing in the rest of the store including the front checkout area. The workers were next to the registers, with a very narrow counter. Six INCHES to one foot apart from the customer checking out. Except for the pharmacist, (who was behind a high counter, which is behind a plexiglass wall/window) none of the staff wore any type of protective equipment and there was NO hand sanitizer out. When I inquired the cashier said they were sold out and she went to the employee bathroom to wash her hands. There wasn't a way to pay without touching the credit card machine; I had to touch the number keys and the pen. Again no sanitizer available for cashier or myself. The cashier then coughed INTO HER HAND, wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and continued handling my purchases and bagging them. I gave her my own personal sanitizer I have clipped to my keychain. Three cashiers were ringing purchases up, bagging, handling money at 3 counters; two are right next to each other. None had protective masks or gloves, none had hand sanitizer. The manager, a young woman named Farrah I believe, stood by and observed. When I approached her to ask about safety measures, social distancing, hand sanitizer etc she said they were doing everything they've been told to do "by corporate" and "didn't have to do anything else" then turned her back to me as I was trying to speak - I then asked for a phone number, perhaps "corporate" as she said that's where her instructions cane from. She looked over her shoulder as she walked away, laughed and told me "find it yourself, good luck!" I'm appalled by what is not being done at this particular Walgreens and I've had to warn everyone not to shop there until they've made significant changes. I am hopeful Walgreens looks closely at this location and this manager receives training on customer service and how to be a good manager. Or a manager at all. read more

This where I get my prescriptions filled. I always feel bad walking through the store to the pharmacy and then back out again, I never buy anything in the store. I have been filling my prescriptions at this pharmacy for a few years now and they are always very busy. They are constantly having to ask people from the store to come and fill in at the pharmacy. Walgreens should hire more people for this area. The people in the pharmacy area have always been nice but noticeably rushed and in my opinion they are over worked. I have learned to bring in the prescription and then pick it up a few days later and this has been working for me. When they are slow you can usually get a prescription filled in 20 minutes. When they are busy it can take a lot longer, I have never tried to wait for a prescription to be filled while they are busy. read more
