Awful customer service, poorly staffed pharmacy. They are rude, they have no sense of getting orders done on time. Was told it would be ready last night at 623 pm. Now here it is 851 am the next day still not ready. BEYOND mad. This is for a sick child and this is NOT ok. And they act like it doesn't matter. Medications often out of stock, false calls telling you your medications are ready and once you drive all the way up there they tell you they are not ready yet and they insult your intelligence by saying " we don't do the calling the computer does" the staff in general is very rude in every possible way drive thru service is very slow. I've only had one good experience there in 10 years I was helped by a lady in the photo department and she didn't even relate to what I needed, now I wish I'd got her name to mention her, every other experience in the pharmacy department has always been terrible. read more

If you need your medication in a hurry, don't bother. I'm on vacation and it has taken 3 days for my 3 year old daughters medication. The claim they are unable to contact our pharmacy.....it's simply not true. PUBLIX pharmacy is great about answering calls without putting you on eternal hold. Now that they have transferred the prescription...they failed to get the insurance info from our pharmacist. They said they don't transfer insurance info and that I had to call our pharmacist back home to get the info. Our wonderful pharmacist at PUBLIX took the number for Walgreens and is taking care of this problem for us. we'll see what happens. Terrible customer service, so slow it's maddening. I was discriminated against by this employee at the Apple Valley Ca. location. The employees' name was BRADEN! When I came into this store, he did not greet me. I came in to purchase my toiletry items and when I began to walk towards the front counter which is located near the exit, he tells me that I need to enter his register through the back. He did not greet me. He did not even smile. I told him that I can come to the register any way I please. I asked to speak to his manager and he would not call the manager. I asked for his name and he mocked me. He embarrassed me. I had to walk to the back of the store to look for a manager. I asked the gentleman that worked the photo area to call the manager and he told me that it will take an hour for someone to help me because the manager is busy. I was able to locate the manager myself. She was also rude and unhelpful. She was on her cell phone having a conversation with someone. She looked at me as if I was interrupting her call. I tried to explain to her what happened and she immediately took the employees' side without allowing me to fully explain what happened. I asked her for her name so that I could make a complaint and she was hesitant. She only provided her first name- Cynthia. She said, "I don't need to give you my last name". I will be filing a full complaint. I feel that this was a diversity issue and a lack of training on behalf of Walgreens. They should treat each and every customer with respect and dignity. We are a military family. My husband gave 20 years to this country and we deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I have every right to live and shop in this area. I own my home in Apple Valley and I am disgusted with the way that I was treated tonight. I will be reaching out to the media to bring awareness and attention to this store and the employees that treated me as if my race was not wanted in this store! I will be filing a discrimination lawsuit!! read more

Bad experience , when I showed up at the time they told me to pickup my daughters medication they told me our Dr forgot to sign the prescription. Ok fine, but they couldn't give me an exact time just to come back later....when I told them a simple phone call would have gone a long way and my daughter just had surgery and is in pain , they young lady tells me "I just help back here" nice job read more

The pharmacy here is horrible. I work at a doctors office that has to deal with this pharmacy and I used to go here because it was close to home. But it is horrible, when I try to call in medication for patients it takes hours to get through and when I finally do, they hang up on me. It happens all the time. Then one time my 2 year old was extremely sick so urgent care sent the medication to this pharmacy and I got there a minute late so the pharmacist said I had to go to another walgreens and she would fax the rx over. She never did. My sons ear infection got so bad that night. I've had nothing but bad experiences here and either they need new management or they need to hire more/ better people read more

Just had a wonderful experience with the photo department. I was in first thing this morning to pick up a photo project I had orders online. When I arrived in store, I found the project did not turn out the way I submitted it online. Michael was working in the photo department and he offered to help me resubmit the project in store and have the cropping problem fixed. We worked on it for a few minutes and he was willing to continue, but I had to get to work. I told him I would be back same day. When I came back a different gentleman was working in the photo department and he offered me the same personal service. I was able to upload a new photo and get my project printed in the spot. This we really helpful. read more

By far the worst store to pick up prescriptions. Today is my last day spending a penny in this store. No matter what you do to make the process quicker the people who work in this Pharmacy do not care to make it an easy experience. They are always in the back talking personal stuff instead of helping people in line. Today the lady tells me to go to the cashier, the lady at the cashier says "I'll be right with you" without ever making eye contact then leaves the register and doesn't return. I get back in line only to end up back with her again. Rude non caring person should not be working with the public. Took longer than it should have because the one pharmacist was busy chit chatting on the phone instead of putting the call on hold and clearing the meds so I can pay and leave. Very non caring....no sense of urgency and snappy instead of apologetic for all the delays they act like this is normal and too bad if the line has so many people waiting. Will never step foot in his store again. read more

Just had a great experience in the photo department. I went to pick up some pictures I had ordered online and the resolution looked horrible. Sierra helped me re print my images and last minute I decided to get one printed on a canvas. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. The canvas turned out beautifully. I was very pleased with the service given by Sierra and will continue to come back as a customer. read more
