A first time customer to this store location. Primarily went to get pictures taken for a Passport on Saturday, 11/08/25, at 4:20 PM. Browsed around the store and saw some good deals on collectible cards, drinks and snacks. Bought a few things that caught my eye while waiting for the pictures to be developed. This Walgreens has been in this area for years! I like going there because it's convenient and their parking is also very convenient due to the fact that I travel with my grandson and he has a van that requires a ramp to get him in and out. At this particular Walgreens, they have more than one van accessible parking spot. And for those that don't know there's two different kinds of ADA parking spots. One with ramp accessibility, and one without. We need the one with! The only thing about this Walgreens is that everything is locked up with the shelves are empty and there is a lot of homeless activity and other activity going on in their parking lot so you do have to be a little careful at night. This isn't a Walgreens issue is just something to be aware of if you're going to go there after dark. For the most part, you are always treated really good. They greet you when you walk in and I've always enjoyed going there. I recommend this Walgreens in particular, even though there's three others in the general area, because they don't follow you around waiting for you to steal. It's hard to shop with a child that's disabled and be able to hurry and get your shopping done. I also like to stop and show him things and sit them on his lap so he can look at them. I don't like being followed in the store by employees thinking that I am going to steal something just because I'm taking my time and sitting things on his lap and showing him. This Walgreens does not do that. I appreciate that. There is two within a couple minutes of each other and I would definitely recommend the one in South Auburn. That's the only one I will go to. read more

So horrible! I walked around looking for a quick little gift to give. I found some cute string lights that were pineapples. The sticker for the display said "pineapple lights 10 ct 4.99" when it was rung up, it was 12.99. I asked if I could show the cashier the tag and she said yes ... she walked me back and matched the teeeny tiny barcode to each of the sticker barcode. The description though said palm trees... she asked a manager and he also matched the barcodes and I said "yes but it's not even the right description. Are you gonna honor it?" He said "no." The display was directly above the tag and he said "oh it must have been moved slightly and this is probably for a tinier set". I would have been ok if they could have shown me a tag that had the description of the item I had in my hand, but the only one that had that description was the one that read 4.99. There was nothing Nothing NOTHING that had a tag for 12.99 that said pineapple. It's not my fault you guys created your tags wrong with the wrong bar codes. Also.. some feedback.... customers will look at descriptions and not barcodes. read more

I really like the pharmacy at this Walgreens! I started coming here after too many horrible experiences at the Walgreens in Lakeland Hills. The staff here is nice, helpful and really provided good customer service. They are quicker on refills also! I started coming to this store about 4 months ago and have been surprised about the consistently good service at the pharmacy. The rest of the store seems to struggle with stock, staffing, etc., but I don't really shop and the pharmacy has been great! read more

Why don't you tell people that you don't process your covid tests on Sunday. Your lab is closed all day on Sunday. Our specimens were collected at 10AM on Friday morning, no approved test on Sunday so we called to find out that lab is closed all day Sunday and won't reopen until 8AM on Monday! That gives us a 2 hour valid window to depart from the airport. REALLY! This knocks people out of there travel window. We have to get another test now and will miss our flight on Monday at 8AM. So stupid! Just be honest with folks and let folks make their best possible decision, don't base your company decisions on greed and losing a couple of tests. I don't direct this at the store, but Walgreen's cooperate. read more

If your insurance allows you to go anywhere else for pharmacy services, RUN don't walk to another pharmacy. They repeatedly don't have the drug in stock my doctor prescribes, even though the doctors request has been in their system for days. The drug doesn't still doesn't get ordered. OR they can do a PARTIAL refill, necessitating me to come back a 2nd time to pick up the remainder of my prescription AND this creates TWO copays that have to be paid instead of one. Today I got a notification my prescription is ready. So I make a special trip there and their system is down, "So they have no way to tell if I have a prescription ready." I have the notifications on my phone that it's ready and the copay amount due. "Nope, we can't have any prescription pick ups until the system is up. You can call us later to see if the system is up." You'd better have a LONG time to wait if you're giving this place a call. After a long wait on the phone, they answer the phone, only to put you me back on hold again. It's a CLUSTER of a very poorly managed pharmacy. read more

Now if I was not in the system and was asking for something that was over the top like Vicadin or something like that... I get it. This was for a prescription for a Glucometer. The pharmacy staff are beyond rude and disrespectful. They don't want to help nor do they offer any kinda of help. I am a patient with mental illness and when I went to change my medication over from my previous pharmacy to Walgreens. I was told my insurance was just fine. Then the day I need my medication from them. they tell me "oh we don't take your insurance you'll have to pay a ridiculous amount of money out of pocket for your MUCH NEEDED medication." After asking for help to transfer it to my old pharmacy where my insurance actually works at. I was told that it's not their problem and that I needed to figure it out for myself. I was then told that I'd have to pay for my Medication before they transfer it over which makes ZERO SENSE! This place is not helpful this place is not nice. This place is where you send people you DO NOT CARE ABOUT. read more

This is your average Walgreen's. There is a pharmacy, there are cosmetics and some basic food items. It's convenient if you want to go some place quick. One thing that's nice is they have a lot of nail polishes and lotions including burts bees, Cetephil and Lubriderm. The prices are probably more expensive than Target and definately more expensive than Walmart but like everywhere else, you can find a good deal if you look for it. read more

The new woman pharmacist they have now is very unprofessional and extremely rude. After using Walgreens pharmacy for the past 15 years it's a shame that one unprofessional pharmacist with no interpersonal skills would ruin my opinion about using a pharmacy my whole family has been using and never has ever had a problem with, but that's exactly what she has done! Also I like to add I have never wrote a review about a business before, I'm not the type of person that complains about service at all! The staff at this pharmacy is by far the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. Joanne Kim needs to be made aware that all they care about is texting on their phones and figuring out away to do the least amount of work without helping out the most important person, "the customer" They wouldn't even contact my insurance to get a pre authorization until I arrived onsite even though they had my insurance info and then they made me do it because they were too busy. Why would you want to make the customer wait longer? I may not be able to change their business but if 1 person stops going there like I have, then I have done my job by giving them a bad review! It used to be the toughest pharmacy in town. They had a guy who worked there who seemed to think it was his sole job to deny people relatively smooth access to their prescribed medications. The sicker the person (or the less the person spoke English), he would work all the harder to get in their way. Fast forward to today and it's a whole different story. When I first moved into the area, I did appreciate this Walgreens since it was just right down the street for me. However, one fateful morning I came in to purchase some tide pods and was ecstatic because they dropped the price on it and with my 3 dollar coupon-- I felt on top of the world. However I've never used their app before and didn't know how to use it to have the coupon applied. The blonde cashier was no help, in fact, super rude. I didn't know how to use the app and she didn't want to help me, i had another customer behind me wait for a backup cashier because she refused to back out the transaction. She figured that I wouldn't stand there for an extra couple minutes to figure out that I entered the incorrect number with no help from her. And when I thanked her at the end of my transaction-- you'd think she be polite and say you're welcome yet instead she ignores me. There's no reason that she wouldn't hear me. If you been inside Walgreens at 9 am.. it's dead quiet. Extremely unhappy with her service. But all the other times I been in I had perfect customer service. I et great service here. I like the drive through pharmacy and they always have a deal on water or soda. I use my walgreens customer card both here and online and rack up the points. I volunteer to shop for other just to rack up points. its real money I spend whenever. last week got 30.00 worth of stuff, used my points and spent 4.28 cash! they also offer a charitable donation at the check out so I usually hit at least $1.00. its nice they help support the community. if you have not checked the online you should. I had no idea they sold so many different things. read more

Had to get a pain medication prescription for a hernia. Let me give you some context about myself, I'm a 34 year old Fire Fighter, walking around 5'10 205 pounds lean. And injured myself working, unfortunately lifting more than I should have. I'm set for surgery and till then I'm prescribed 5ml pain medication which from my understanding is about the weakest I know of. And working as a firefighter I've seen allot of strung out men on these types of medications, and i say types because no one I've come across is strung out on 5's...but when the dosage gets much much higher it does happen. But today I was treated as though I was some strung out druggy and not the man I've persevered to be. I've mentioned my experience to allot of people today, who said it happens with some pharmacy technician that think they know more than a doctor with 10x the amount of schooling. Bottom line is if you're going to fill a prescription at Walgreens be prepared to be judged, by someone with little schooling, little pay but for two seconds acts like they have all the authority in the world. read more

There is always people here running out the store stealing. When ever I come in there is new employees and they never seem to know what they are doing. Photo machine is always down when I come in to print photos. The store is really run down it really needs an update. Not to mention the constant homeless people sleeping outside asking for money. read more

My usual Pharmacy but it was closed and I did not realize I was out of meds and it would require a doctor's approval for refill. So, I called walgreens in kent cause pharmacy is 24 hours. They could only give me 3days worth and fax a letter for me to doctors. I was good with that. Monday: I call this walgreens south to check on fax and ask if med was ready...nope & was told by pharmacist that because I got 3-days woryh from kent wallgreens I would have to pick my prescription up from them. Im like...ok, thats fine. I go to the kent walgreens and they tell me that according to what the computer says the Auburn Walgreens has it ready for me. Im like...are you serious? He looks at me and says, yes. Im like, ok...though im a bit annoyed I drove from auburn to kent east hill for no reason when I was told by auburn walgreens that they couldn't fill it cause I already got 3-days worth...UGH!! So I go to Auburn Walgreens and stirnly with annoyance in my tone cause thats how I feel the entire scenario only to get a cashier in the drive thru to question my situation and she was actually going to send me back to kent but I was pissed and repeated my story ofbthis freaking run around and then get this...I have insurance and I pay a yearly membership to be a walgreens card holder...it clearly reads that but she asks what id like to use... insurance or walgreens membership? I said, whichever is cheapest for me. She says ok. Looks and tells me it went thru my insurance and its going to be $30. I said, ok...but stopped and said, ummm & what is the walgreens amount for it? She looks again and says $15 which do you want to do? Ummm, duh! Obviously the cheapest like I asked for in the first place...ugh! To me this means you haven't started yet, why not say we are really bussy and are just getting to it? A little honesty would go along way with a person like me. Oh and smile, geeze, I don't want to be here either...but wait it gets better I go to use my card and the lady who went through pharmacy school and made the pills I just came to pick up couldn't seem to figure out how to swipe the card so me being a high school dropout had to go show her how to swipe your debit card maybe go to school for common sense not for being a pharmaceutical tech, and I'll go back for grammar! read more
