Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

I contacted the store and informed them of this unexpected turn. I was aware of athe 25% re-stocking fee and was prepared to bite the bullet. Unfortunately, I was told that the 10 day window started when I paid for it despite that window being eaten up waiting for delivery. So too bad so sad- they have my money and I have a wheelchair that no one will ever use. Bet they are looking forward to their next 150 years of taking care of customers. Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

The parking lot can be hectic getting in and out depending on what direction you're coming/going from, but the convenience of this location trumps the parking lot debacle. Ideally, I use this pharmacy for refills and I never have any problems. Using the drive-thru lane is relatively quick too. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful. The line at the pharmacy can get long, and they definitely don't fill prescriptions as quickly as other pharmacies. Dropping off new prescriptions is a bit of a hassle. This is not a location where you'll want to sit and wait. At my last drop-off, they asked if I could come back two hours later. When I returned, they wanted "five more minutes." It's frustrating when I have to stand in line just to hear that! Some of the pharmacy techs (or whoever is manning the register at the pharmacy) could use a spit-shine in customer service and appearing more polished. I've only stopped in for convenience items like gift cards, and the employees at the register are generally pretty friendly. This Walgreens also sells Milani cosmetics (not all locations do), so I always take a peek at what's in stock. It's no secret that the neighborhood surrounding this Walgreens has a high Hispanic population, so I always enjoy jamming to the latest Latina hits playing overhead while waiting. BAILE!
