Obviously they have so much business already that they don't care about reviews, anything people say, or service. However, it is so frustrating when you are in a line of 2 cars picking up prescriptions, and there is a 35 minute wait. They usually have the 2nd lane closed and 1 poor employee is handling the drive through and the inside line. Therefore everybody waits forever. They need to hire more pharmacy technicians! I have been there when no one is in front of me but still I sit at the window or 15 minutes before I see anyone. I pushed the button and hear, I'll be right there, but they aren't. When I go in the store it is a better experience everywhere except at the pharmacy! There can still be long lines, insane waits, and a level of incompetency that is unbelievable. I have to deal with them as CVS does not seem to be any better at all so I have to put up with it, but It's so frustrating! If I was the manager I'd hire more techs, have both drive through lanes open with a sign that says, "If you need to discuss something with the pharmacy, please go into the store." The outdoor lanes should be for quick pick-ups and limited to 3 questions! read more

The service here is absolutely atrocious. I've tried to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere but they always give me a reason why they can't. Anytime I need a refill, I submit it on the app...and it goes through, but then gets rejected by the pharmacy with no explanation and says I have to call. So then I call...wait an hour...hour and a half...sometimes more (don't select the callback option, they will not call you back). When they finally answer they have no reason why it was rejected, and it finally gets filled, then I gotta wait 1+ hours in the drive through or inside just to pick up. Then repeat the process next month until all my refills are gone and I can finally go to a different pharmacy. read more

These poor reviews speak the ultimate truth,the pharmacist seemed utterly lost and the pharmacy tech are none the better. Be careful with these people especially if you are transferring from Rite aid, they will be so quick to say "WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY MEDICATION REQUEST" when it overflowing in their queues that HAVE NOT been reviewed. Never in my life have I had such a horrendous experience at a pharmacy as I did today at this poor excuse for a Walgreens. I ordered my prescription last night and then call this morning asking when I can pick it up. The woman on the phone tells me 30-90 minutes but I never hear from her. I call back a few more times until it is finally revealed at 2 pm that they do not have in stock, do not have any for a partial refill, and are refusing to transfer it to any other pharmacy. There is no Maryland law stating that schedule IV prescriptions cannot be transferred, especially since I had filled it once at their location. These people made my day literal nightmare and were extremely rude and aggressive when I asked for clarification, because I knew what they were saying wasn't accurate to the law. It is insane to me that this behavior passes as customer service at a Walgreens. read more

12.8.20 Visit was due to another night of insomnia. So I decided to do a little browsing for Christmas gifts for the Christmas stockings. As I entered, received no greeting. There were some sales on Christmas items, but they were so so. I was able to browse without any issue. The gift section had various gifts for both male and female and for youths to adults. Did find some cute items to stuff the Christmas stockings. The store was well stocked with the exception of the toilet paper. But I like this location to an extent. They did add a curbside pickup section in the parking lot. read more

The pharmacy leaves you holding on the line instead of picking the phone back up to explain a situation or at least say that someone would call back. I would be ok with a call back, but instead, there's no one picking up the line to say anything, so you just keep waiting for a long time. If I go online or try to get more info about the prescription, the system asks for an Rx number, which I don't have because it's not a refill, but a status for a new prescription. I'm left with no choice but to call in. They make it impossible for customers to get any information at all. It seems that it's their goal to reduce as many customers as possible. I guess that would make their jobs easier? I'll stick to CVS and other the local pharmacies from now on. read more

I went to Walgreens after ordering a photo order offline. I was surprised that this was a 24 hour Walgreens. Pros: The store and parking lot were clean. You could tell the employees care. Had an issue with photo printing and the manager came and assisted to the best of his ability. Both interactions I had with employees there were kind. I feel like that was a direct reflection of the manager Curtis. I was thoroughly impressed. 24 hour pharmacy as well. Cons: Photo tech left at a certain time and was supposed to finish prints before they left. I'm not sure that Walgreens on the app is aware of that as it allows you to order photos well into the evening. Parking lot entrance is a little weird as on one side it's behind a gas station. Overall this was one of the nicest Walgreens I've been to. read more

Save yourself the time and stress; don't get your prescriptions filled here. They never pick up the phone and theres always an insane long line to get to the counter. Also, I had antibiotics ordered and youd think that would be filled quickly given that theyre prescribed solely for infection, but it was never filled and I couldnt get ahold of someone on the phone to ask them to fill it. The management of the pharmacy department needs to restrategize because what theyre doing isnt quite working. Update: they were out of stock and never bothered to notify me so that I could switch pharmacies to get my antibiotics. That is unacceptable, especially when it comes to antibiotics/infection!!!! I called the Safeway and the guy said that Id be better off getting the doctor to send it to them instead of having Safeway call Walgreens for a transfer cause they never pick up the phone. I have been going here on and off for years and I can say conclusively that they are almost completely inept. If you don't hold their hand nothing will get done as it should but good luck getting in touch with them without a minimum 30 minute hold. If they could only be as timely with their prescriptions as they are with their own meal break they would be the best in town. I've been using this pharmacy for the last three years with very few problems, but the last 6 months have been painfully terrible. Every associate I have interacted with from the male pharmacy director to the female associates have been anything but helpful. Quite the opposite in fact. I recognize they are overworked and stressed out, but the attitudes and lack of any element of helpful customer service have reached the point of no return for my family. I was in line for an hour waiting for a PCR Covid test in their drive-through line. When I got to the front of the line the lady told me that I was in the wrong Carline and I needed to be in the one adjacent to it to be tested. Out of all the Walgreens locations this is the best one I have encountered so far with customer service. I wanted to get a flu shot and I traveled to two other Walgreens that I found out were not 24/7 with their Pharmacy. I called this location and spoke with Jordan. He assured me I can walk in anytime and get a flu shot, no appointment necessary. In fifteen minutes I arrived for my flu shot, and met up with Jordan in person at the Pharmacy. He gave me the necessary paperwork, corrected my information in the computer and I saw another gentlemen who would be administering the flu shot. This all took maybe 10 minutes. I totally forgot to get the other gentleman's name but he was so nice and calmed my nerves about getting my first flu shot. It's also refreshing to be greeted at entrance to Walgreens with a genuine happy "welcome to Walgreens" manner and not in that fake/annoyed I have to say this stupid saying manner. read more

The absolute WORST Walgreens and pharmacy in the area. Associates incredibly rude and the manager is not any better. All of them have attitudes are completely incompetent in their ability to run or manage anything. I made a vaccine appointment for today. I have a VERY busy and tight schedule--so I made an appointment for the vaccine. I arrived at the pharmacy and there was a 10+ people long line waiting to pick up prescriptions. I went to the pharmacy desk and told them I had an appointment for a vaccine. The girl behind the counter told me I had to "get in line with everyone waiting for prescriptions." I told her I had an appointment and shouldn't have to wait in line with people who are waiting to pick up prescriptions--not people waiting for a vaccine. She copped an attitude with me and told me that I had to despite having an appointment. I spoke to the manager and she also had a horrible attitude and told me that despite having a VACCINE appointment, I would have to wait with the 10+ people waiting for prescriptions and that no one else could check me in for my appointment that had NOTHING to do with waiting for prescriptions. After waiting 30 min, I left without my vaccine and will have to make an appointment somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

I went to this location to pick up an online order. Upon entering the store, I immediately went to the cashier. He then, informed me that I would need to go to the customer service counter. I immediately, turned, and noticed a black, female, with locs that resemble uncooked, Ramen Noodles, and, she clearly saw me. BUT, while walking to the counter, she quickly, busied herself with some frivolous task (fidgeting with some box); all while carrying on a trivial conversation with another employee/mgr. She and this employee/mgr clearly, looked up, and saw me waiting at the counter, but, intentionally chose to ignore me ! I then, announced that I was there to pick up my order; BOTH, continued to ignore me, & continued with their conversation. SMH During, this time, I decided to step away from the counter, to gather myself. During this time, a white female customer walked up to the counter, and, Ms. Ramen Noodles & the other employee/mgr. stopped their conversation; and she IMMEDIATELY, greeted her, with a pasted on smile, and assisted this customer with no problem ! So, I decided to get back in line, behind the white customer....AND, once again, Ms. Ramen Noodles, and that same employee/mgr. decided to strike up another petty conversation..totally ignoring me once again!! Ms. Ramen Noodles even stared me down, while yelling over me to chat with another employee, that was at a register on the other side of the store!! She finally decided to assist me when she realized that she it would look pretty obvious that she was ignoring a customer that simply wanted to pick up an online order!! *** I brought up race, because, it is a primary factor, when it comes to the way a Black customer is treated VS. a White customer, by Black employees. Many customers have to endure unprofessional, rudeness, and, lack of accountability; when it comes to Black, females in customer service that needs to be addressed ! *** I will never go back to this location ! read more

Usually, this Walgreens is just fine. Usually. But today, the pharmacy drive thru is the most pointless thing ever. I've been the second car in line for 20 minutes. Rather than instruct people whose prescriptions aren't quite ready to just come back later, they're understaffed and allowing people to just SIT. Hello! I have one prescription to pick up that doesn't cost anything. The whole point of the drive thru is convenience. If I could leave a less than zero review I would. I don't normally leave reviews but after the latest interaction I had, I felt the need to. I don't normally feel judged or profiled when I enter a store. I say that because I am a light-skinned Asian American, who was born in the United States with a white parent. But after my latest interaction at your store I've never felt more racially judged in my life. And employee who was light-skinned, who I'm assuming is if of African-American descent asked me if I needed any help, on my way to the register. I said no, I am fine and would meet them at the register. I got to the register and a more darker complexion employee rang me up, while the lighter skinned employees stood around and did nothing. I then said to the employee "I figured us lighter skin gentleman need to stick together and he said I huge and question everybody." I have never felt so I welcomed and unaccepted in life and I'm in my mid 30s. Never again shall I return to this racially biased store again despite it being the only 24 hour pharmacy within 10 miles. read more

They actually have people followed and watched. They profile and if you fit the "description" of a shoplifter the cashier actually calls to the back to have someone come up and watch you. As the cashier was ringing up my items he kept his eye on two people that fit his "profiling description" he like made sure after each item he would put in my bag to search for them when they had done NOTHING wrong.... disgusting!!! Only funny part was when the cashier banged his arm into the register trying to keep an eye on them and ring me up... waste of my time as well since it took him 2x as long.... since when did it become okay to profile! I always come here if I need shampoo or just a quick snack. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The only thing that drives me crazy, and some may not agree, is that they say thank you and be well after everything they say. I mean it's ok once you have made your purchase but I mean when they are calling someone over the store loud speaker they say thank you and be well. It's kind of annoying yet funny at the same time. I have recently started using this Walgreens as my pharmacy. I previously used Target in Towson and still do for certain prescriptions. Walgreens is however the most convenient pharmacy I've ever used. You can refill via an app on your phone. Transfer prescription in the app just buy taking photos. They have a drive through and are open 24hrs. You can't get better than that! read more
