Once inside I was greeted by a plethora of products for both men and women. From wigs and extensions to hair dyes and styling products, this store has it all. Although the store has a myriad of products, which might be overwhelming, the shelves were neatly arranged and organized. As I traveled up and down the aisles, I was amazed at how many products Hair City had in stock for not only women but for men as well. . The staff was friendly and accommodating and they were able to help me find exactly what I needed in a short amount of time. Even though I had a hard time correctly explaining what I needed, I must have made enough sense as they directed me to exactly what I was searching for. A great hidden gem in Hartford. There are also plenty of special edition gift sets available. Ulta is a great shopping experience for three reasons. Majority of the items have testers, so you can touch, play and see how they work for you, before you purchase. The other reason is they sell high end products and drugstore items in the same store. Also, there are several brands and products that are exclusively sold at Ulta and no other brick and mortar location. At this location there's a wide variety of hair products and hair tools, skin care, fragrances, makeup as well as a trial sized section. The staff working at this Ulta location are very knowledgeable about the products and are ready to answer any questions. There are several services this Ulta location offers, I haven't utilized any of them, so I can't comment on the quality. They offer ear piercing. Hair services, such as haircuts, color and style. They also offer eyebrow services and makeup for a special event. I enjoy shopping at Ulta of West Hartford, and I'll continue shopping here in the future.
