This is mostly for the Pharmacy. I can't find the words to show my appreciation to the pharmacist & pharmacist techs that helped me this Friday evening June 19th. They went beyond helpful to track down a prescription that I really needed this evening. I had already looked for it at another pharmacy & they said it was at Walgreens. So, I walked to the Walgreens in Brighton. If wasnt there. It was at another pharmacy, in Thornton. I couldn't get there in time. I tried using my doctor's service but, that didn't seem to work. This wasn't a medication that can be transferred from a pharmacy to another. The pharmacist took a long part of his day to track down one of the doctor's to make it happen. This place is a mess. Nothing is shelved, every aisle I went down was a mess. The refrigerated section is actually hot which poses a fire risk. You touch the door and it's over 100 degrees. It's actually heating the beverages inside. I notified the girl behind the counter who was trying to train someone else and she seemed incapable of doing anything. If I could give TEN stars I would! ! ! ! All thanks to Janea in the Pharmacy @ the Brighton Location (not sure of correct spelling - sorry if this is the wrong spelling). * Long post warning * Me and the Mrs. use this Walgreens for our prescription needs, since it is the closest to our location. We have never had any complaints or issues with this location, they have always been very friendly, and helpful with any prescription questions that we have had. Unfortunately, my wife came down with Covid 19 from over the weekend, and our Doc put in a prescription for Paxlovid (the common cure for Covid now days). Well, to my surprise, I go to pick up the prescription and the price is over $300.00, with insurance (no longer the government issue, commercial issue now). It wasn't that I didnt have the money to pay for it, I want my wife to get better. I would pay $1k if I had to, just so my wife could get rid of this crud. But it was the sticker shock of what the cost was before, compared to now. Janea "The pharmacist" must have seen the look on my face, and proceeded to tell me about a program that I could apply for, that could bring the cost of the medicine down in price and possibly save me a couple hundred dollars. She gave me the paper to call, which I texted to my wife, within a matter of few minutes she was approved, gave her a card to show to the pharmacist, which she emailed to me, and I kid you not, the bill for the Paxlovid came down from over $300.00 down to $0.00 out of pocket! Most employee's would not go out of their way to help their customers save money in this day in age. However, I do have to say that "Janea" (again, sorry if the spelling is wrong), deserves a big pat on her back, for her customer service, friendliness, and willing to step out of the box and go the extra mile and offer assistance, in a situation like this. Walgreens, you have a very valuable employee here, an asset to Walgreens. Make sure you treat her well, because she most defiantly looks out for her customers, and their needs. Plus with that attitude and willingness to help, she will go far! ! She was also nice enough to tell me, that she hoped that my wife started feeling better soon. :-) THANK YOU AGAIN JANEA! ! ! ! If I could give zero stars I would. I called the pharmacy and have been put on hold for more than 50 minutes. They have never gotten my prescription correct or missing something that I have to come back later or tomorrow. read more

I called inquiring passport portrait info, they told me they were available until 8pm for that service. I walked in at 3pm, the lady at the photo station rudely tells me nope we are closed for passport photos. I responded well I called today to make sure I could come in, she says nope we are short staffed. I asked when can I come in, she said maybe tomorrow... read more

This Walgreens is terrible! I sit in the pharmacy pickup line for half an hour, I left because the line was not moving. I came back about an hour later and sit for another 20 min. Who knew it was so difficult to hand a prescription through a window and take a payment for it. read more

Quick and easy service. My prescriptions were ready rapidly. Friendly pharmacy staff that handled my insurance expertly. A great experience.

No stars if I could . I've been on the phone for a half hour to talk to the pharmacy I could've drove my ass there and been home by now . This place is slacking read more

0/5 HORRIBLE experience. Kimberly was snippy and just wouldn't listen. They play God by holding up your prescription WITHOUT REASON.

I wish I could give this store 0 stars. The pharmacy is not efficient and can not multitask. I have tried to fill now 5 prescriptions here and EVERYTIME there's an issue. Waited in line in the drive thru for 30 mins each time except once I went in and waited 25 mins. The last one I tried to fill the doctors office had to send the order 4x and apparently they had it the whole time. read more

Your pharmacy is RUDE. It was clear the moment I walked in from her huffing and puffing that she was annoyed and didn't want to help. Then when the computer has the slightest glitch, instead of trying again or trying another terminal, says "I can't sell anything to you ' on account of an error with the transaction after blaming my removal of my credit card (which your machine told me to do.) You send someone sick away without their medicine. I'm sorry if you're having a bad day or don't like your job, but don't take it out on your customers. Safeway next store was much more helpful, thank god. read more

Terrible customer service, horrible long lines. No one cares when you ask for another cashier. The pharmacy is great.

I came to the Brighton Walgreens twice to get 6 pictures printed. Carol stated I must have release from photographer. I get a signed text from photographer come back the next day and she will not accept it because it is not on his letterhead. She was talking very condescending. I said I would like to speak to your manager, she then gave me the store card. I called she answered the phone and said he does not have direct line. I asked for regional managers number, she said she does not have it. I said it is lively when someone has power and they use it incorrectly. She said thank you have a nice day. Being in this town and acting that way is an unfortunate display of how Brighton really is. Don't use them. read more

Pretty quick pharmacy ! :) convenient location and nice pharmacist. I got my flu shot within twenty minutes.

Pharmacy is pretty quick. I had a bad sinus infection this past year and I was in and out in about ten minutes.

I went to pick up my photo calendar and the girl in the photo center, Rachel, was EXTREMELY rude!! She looked at us when we walked up to the photo counter and she didn't acknowledge us! Finally comes over and I told her I was picking up my order. She very rudely says "do have anymore shopping to do?" That was the ONLY thing she said to me the entire time! My 3 1/2 year old tried talking to her and she ignored her completely. When I told her my daughter was telling her about her spider bite, she just glanced in her direction with a snide look on her face!! She was RUDE and gave the WORST customer service ever! I worked almost 20 years in retail and that is NOT how you treat customers!! read more

They very badly need to hire more help, sometimes you can stand in the line for 30 minutes just to find out your insurance didn't cover your prescription. I've used other pharmacies before and Walgreens does not go that extra step for their customers. Walgreens needs to catch on to what works for the fast food industry. Do not have someone sitting in front of the window waiting for their order for 30 minutes. If it's going to be longer that 5 ask them to pull forward so the next person in line can be helped, don't hold up the whole line. read more
