I arrived at 450 pm on Friday to pick up my package and was told that they are closed. The employees were standing around already with coats on waiting for 5 pm to close the store. They shut off the lights as I was walking in which had me confused since it's supposed to close at 6. They said that they were closed and I asked what time they close and they said 5. I said it's 450 and hours are listed as closing at 6 not 5. They said that they close at 5 and to come Saturday after 9 am. As I was walking out one of the employees mumbled something and the 3 of them laughed. Very unprofessional location and if they close at 5 then why were they already closed at 450 with coats on waiting for 5. Which imo means that they closed at 430 due to having worked in retail myself and knowing that the register has to be balanced and counted before leaving store. So they closed way before I arrived to have everything done and already with coats on and purses in hand 10 min prior to 5.

I went to Vincent's Pharmacy with GRANDMA in the 1970's when it was up in the building across the street from Rockville General Hospital. I went to was a patron when it moved to the strip mall down in back of where the old Zahner's used to be.... My mother used them all her life and they saved her from being extorted by one of her live in aides with me.... then they move and new ownership comes in and wants to utterly ruin their relationship with the long-term customers like I am who only owes 6 dollars and needs medication for a yeast infection that can be paid within two weeks, they can't give me my medication even though I've been paying my bill and have payment on file with them. I'm not one of those who use them wrack the bill up and then move onto other places either.... I cared about my relationship and loyalty to them and they snub me. Well forget them....I guess I'm going to have a yeast infection for two weeks..... these younger people don't know what loyalty of a customer truly is. I'm furious. I wish John didn't sell he cared about the person not the pocketbook when it concerned the health of a person! It's not like a yeast infection medication is a controlled substance either. WTF really? My five star rating just went down to two to one stars with this place. These new owners had better pray to GOD they never get sick when they are older and are denied basic healthcare services. If I didn't know better they are predjudice against people on SS Security or State... He told me to go someplace else and get my medication. Now see after hours nurse called me back calling office tomorrow seeing what they can do and then First Choice does have a pharmacy, so I'll take my business there... I'm done. I do NOT recommend Rockville Pharmacy to anyone at this point. They have changed and do not care about those in the community who are on fixed incomes anymore. We have a lot who are. First Choice Healthcare Centers has always been good to us and I go to them for everything. They just started this pharmacy so I'm going to call them and see about rolling everything including my daughter's things over. Want to know what the problem is? Yeast Infection with an open wound. I have a boil that just burst and another one that will be soon on my inner thigh. I have to be very careful the yeast doesn't get into the bloodstream through this open wound. If you're a senior citizen early bird that doesn't work during business hours during the week, Beacon could be the place for you. But, if you're not in that category, like myself, please- seek any where else for your prescriptions. There's no way to easily check the status of your prescriptions. You have to call and get a pharmacy teammate on the line. Again, if you're not a senior citizen they already have some friendship with in town, you're not going to get good service. Every staff member seems to treat younger to middle age adults such as myself with a terrible, accusatory demeanor, even if you're there just to pick up some vitamin D. They also will not call you to let you know your prescription is ready, or if there's a problem with it. They expect you to come down so they can inconveniently let you down in person. If you're LGBTQ+, stay far from this pharmacy. Despite being their client for several years, and despite the fact I even legally changed my name and gender, you will not be treated with respect at this pharmacy. You WILL be misgendered. If you don't get misgendered, you'll get a soul-burning side eye when picking up your hormone therapy medications, because in their opinion, why would a young woman have an estrogen and spironolactone script, or a young man a testosterone script? Over the years, these people never tried to be inclusive, or at a minimum, respectful, to me or my family. If you're a senior or their friend from town, they will shower you with praise and attention, and even do things they say they can't do for others, like split up scripts, allow cash payments when insurance goes awry, etc. For me, they tried to charge a full copay for a 2/30 pill script, with no cash option, with the 28/30 coming from my new pharmacy. My other pharmacy understood why I'd want to split it (it takes 2 days to arrive and I was out of meds). These folks, however, did not. While I was waiting for them to get their stuff together regarding my split script (surprise: they couldn't get it together), they actually offered the cash deal to another patient in line who had insurance issues. The pharmacist asks the guy, "oh how many do you think she'll want, we can split it up no problem", but for me, it was "tough luck". They were about to close in 20 minutes and kept telling me it would "take a while" for them to contact my insurance. I asked if I should stick around or go home. They told me to do what I want. I stuck around. Groundhog day happened 3 minutes later- same conversation. Asked them if they want me to go home or stick around, and they said the same thing. They obviously wanted me to leave, but they would rather make me feel uncomfortable- but *hey*, they gave me a choice- right? So, I don't get to have my medication for the next two days while I await my prescription from my new pharmacy, who actually knows how to communicate with their patients. Avoid this place. At all costs. You can get medical equipment at many other places. There is no longer anything unique about this pharmacy that other places can't do, so there's no reason at all to utilize them. If you're obsessed with the small town feel, fortunately there's Bristol Pharmacy on Main Street to try.
