I came to this Walgreens to drop fedex packages and they only take tiny boxes. I total waste of time

This is the most unprofessional Walgreens I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I had a 10:20 am appointment, checked in as the sign stated to do. After sitting for almost an hour they called the patient behind me, I stated I've been waiting almost an hour and I've checked in! They never acknowledged my check in, the nurse/tech's attitude was nonchalant, dismissive, less than desirable. If you need a quick vaccination, just go to your primary care doctor don't waste time on this place! read more

Funny how all locations are one stars! Theres a reason for that. The place sucks. It's so difficult to get a medication called in, and its not the fault of the healthcare provider. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

1-Star Review I had a terrible experience at the Walgreens Photo Center at Parkchester (Metropolitan Ave, Bronx, NY) on February 19, 2025. Despite receiving email and text confirmations that my online order was ready, I waited over 20 minutes in line, only to be told my prints weren't available. When I finally received them, the quality was awful--blurry with smeared ink. I politely asked for a reprint, explaining that my uploaded photos were high-resolution, but the staff and manager were dismissive, rude, and condescending. Instead of addressing the clear printer issue, they gaslighted me by insisting my photos were low quality and refused to help. I went ahead and placed a new order using the SAME exact photos, and this time they printed in perfect HD clarity--proving that the issue was with their printer all along, not my images. Yet I was forced to waste over an hour at the store and spend more money when the manager could have simply reprinted them in good faith. If the staff at this location is going to be annoyed by photo-related questions, Walgreens shouldn't offer photo printing services here. Managers should also be equipped to resolve printer issues rather than blaming customers. I left feeling humiliated and frustrated. If you need photo prints, I highly recommend going elsewhere! read more

The slowest Walgreens ever! Staff stands around talking to one another, as the one cashier works the counter.....And it takes her 5 minutes to ring up a customer. Don't go here if you have something else to do other than stand on line. read more

Walgreens Pharmacy at 1371 Metropolitan Avenue, Bx,NY 10462 had my prescription since July 9, 2024 and when I checked the status it said in progress. I went to the pharmacy on July 23, 2024 to find out what is going on and was told they can't fill the prescription since it is on back order. I asked the worker at the pharmacy shouldn't I have been notified and she said no they don't have to. How horrible since my medicine is for my eyes. I had to notify Express Script who will try to get the doctor to send another prescription through mail order. At this time I have ZERO MEDICATION BECAUSE OF WALGREENS PHARMACY NOT FILLING THE PRESCRIPTION AND NOT INFORMING ME. read more

Beautiful location; nice clean building . However the pharmacy at this location wants to run their own closing hours and closes earlier than usual compared to other Walgreens pharmacy. They will not attend to you even if you are inside. Closing at 5PM whenever they feel like it. Everyone is out to lunch in the pharmacy at the same time every day as well. The pharmacy is horribly mismanaged. While the associates are kind and do what they can despite clear understaffing, the pharmacy management treats their customers like trash. Very unhelpful. We made the mistake of sending my husband's pain meds here after having his wisdom teeth out. They where unable to find the order, sent me on an endless goose hunt with my insurance, then closed up shop before I could even get off the phone. The manager was literally yelling at me-- she was shooing me out like a dog, before I could even get the information that I needed from the insurance. read more

The customer service on the phone is horrible. I called four times today to check on lidocaine spray. I was told hold on, they someone pick up the phone and hanged it up. The second time some did the same thing. The third time the same thing happened. The forth time the pharmacy rep who was nice transfer me to the front of the store. The female picked up the phone and was engaging in a person conversation, then she hung up. I would never shop at this store with that type of unprofessionalism. The pharmacy always has a huge line!!! So I thought let me try this new service they have called "express pickup" where you can prepay for your meds and not have to make a line. Ummmm, yeah right....it makes no sense to have this if you are not implementing it! It's so frustrating that I took the time in advance and expected to use the express pickup option. Just forget it! They should call this place Walgreens Express. They never have what I'm looking for when I need it. The flow of the store could be a lot better. There is no clear indicator of where the cash register line should be located. This location is more like a corner convenience store. More often than not I go to Duane Reade because they have more of a selection. I have noticed that they have been trying to spruce up the place and bring more variety, but they have a very long way to go. read more

You get what you need and pay. No hassle. The employees are genuine. I did have a problem few years back tho when buying a phone card that was ineffective and after calling the phone company telling me that the store should give me my money back the manager completely dismissed me and didn't even try to speak with the company. I agree with the other reviewer. It's nasty seeing cashiers lick their fingers on that nice, cold hard cash that I'm paying for these overpriced items. It's looks like a big store on the outside, but it's small on the inside. They don't have a big selection of brands. I mean, shampoo and deodorant are plentiful here although the soap selection is quite limited. If they had more sales, it would be worth the trip. However, they don't. So, I just go to Duane Reade and gather my reward points there. read more

This store has the worst lines ever, they don't seem to have enough cashiers available especially during peak times, 5-7 PM on weekdays. But nothing compares to the wait time at the pharmacy.!!
