UPDATE: After waiting 30 mins in line... you guessed it! They dont have my prescription although it was sent 5 (FIVE) days ago. Told me I need to wait an hour. I actually can't believe how this location is still in business. There is NEVER a time the line for the pharmacy does not have at least 8 people on it. I wait at least 30 mins EVERY TIME. And more often than not, they cant find my prescription or don't have it ready, meanwhile I always give them 2-3 days to have it ready. And then the counter lady has the nerve to tell me to "smile". For a Walgreens that has every single thing locked up, stop paying a security guard and hire another pharmacist.

Ugh, I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. From the rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful staff to the RIDICULOUS obnoxiously long lines, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy to be subjected to this bullshit. Let's hope you're never in a life or death scenario where you need something from here ASAP because with the amount of time you'll spend either on line or waiting for an employee to open a locked case, you will surely perish. They also change their hours without notice and will turn you away if they're "closed". (Closed to them means the employees left for the day and there's no one to cover and that's that.)

I really hope someone from Walgreens reads this because they must! And when I say must I mean it. Promote ERVA! Please!. This woman goes above and beyond for her company. This is a very challenging neighborhood. I walked in on a Saturday evening around 7:00. The stope was busy with shoppers and people asking for help left and right. This woman leaped from out of nowhere and literally was taking care of more than 10 people at the same time and doing it with ease, courtesy and respect and even making sure that we were fully satisfied with our service. Dude! This lady took care of a guy printing 98 photos, 4 people shipping packages (big boxes) a guy waiting for photos, a woman needing help with the photo system and ringing customers at the register all in the space of less than 10 minutes no exaggerating. She did such a amazing job I was compelled to write this review in the store. I really hope she gets the credit she deserves! Thank you ERVA!

This line just keeps getting longer.

Everyone who works here is lovely, but please hire more people. No electronic machines and line is usually 10-15 people long.

I was in need of some stuff (make of it what you will) and looked for a Duane Reade that had late hours on a Sunday.

On the other hand, you have to deal with employees that are either super nice and aloof or slightly passive aggressive, AKA wrong and strong. Usually I can get all the items that I need at this location, but it's also difficult to find it in the place that it would be in another location, coupled with long lines, the online order feature is quite attractive. Today I came to pick up my curbside order, as usual at this location no less, and I followed the prompts from the email that I was sent letting me know my order was ready. After waiting 10 minutes I called the store and was told by an employee that they don't offer curbside pick up. When? What are you talking about? I just went inside made sure my order was correct and left. I will definitely call a manager to verify whether this is the case or not. They definitely threw off my time schedule, tuh (kisses teeth )

I've been a customer at this location for years and have had a recurring issue that I want to…read moredocument publicly: when I call the pharmacy, I'm put on hold and then the call is disconnected. This has happened multiple times, not once or twice. Each time I've tried calling back, the same thing happens. When I do manage to get through or show up in person, the staff are dismissive and rude -- not in a "having a bad day" way, but consistently, across multiple visits and interactions. Basic questions are met with impatience, and there's no sense that they view patients as people who actually need their medication. The other pattern I've experienced repeatedly: I receive a notification that my prescription is ready for pickup, I make the trip, and I'm told to come back in 30 minutes, a few hours, or sometimes not until next week. No explanation, no apology. If the prescription isn't ready, don't send the notification. It's that simple. The combination of unreachable phones, inaccurate ready notifications, and dismissive staff makes this location genuinely unreliable for anything time-sensitive. I've since filed a complaint with Walgreens corporate and would encourage others with similar experiences to do the same (1-800-925-4733). If you have a routine prescription that requires zero coordination, maybe. If you ever need to actually speak to someone or rely on accurate information, look elsewhere.

Nor can I get anyone who "does" the online service management or get relevant answers from the Contact Us link. Last night I got to the checkout, and then the site kept asking me for the order number. ??? That ended the order going through. Mohammed tried to help by doing it verbally over the phone but there were too many items to deal with. It had been a go-to-shop for me since it opened, but after an accident I can't easily go in-person and now apparently I can't shop there at all or find anyone who is responsible/helpful for the site's customer functionality.

What was once a family-owned, excellent grocery store run by wonderful people who cared is now a Key Food with a different name. I mean that literally; they were bought by Key Food during the pandemic, and they laid off all the employees (that we loved), brought in more self-checkout, and the quality of the produce has fallen off a cliff, while the prices have climbed to extortionist levels. For the most part, the replacement staff is quite nice and usually helpful (there are a couple bad apples that seem upset you need assistance). The guys behind the prepared food counter will do a solid job on your sandwich, and the cashiers are usually pleasant and almost always efficient. They still have a rewards program where if you spend around $250 and you get like $10 credit. (Hey, it's better than nothing.) The expansion of the store a few years back means they truly have just about everything, and the beer and ice cream selections are actually phenomenal (but overpriced). However, produce we buy is occasionally going bad already, and the prices are wildly out of control. I paid $7 for two onions last week. It becomes harder and harder to justify shopping here when it's more expensive than Fresh Direct, and vastly more pricey than the fruit and vegetable spots a few blocks away. I don't risk the meat and fish any longer (not with Paisanos and Fish Tales in the hood), although Bell & Evans chicken is quite reliable. Basically, Brooklyn Fare went from an incredible market to have across street to a last-resort for items I forgot to purchase elsewhere in the neighborhood, at reasonable prices. They know we're coming in when we need something, and we're going to pay for it. Despite these shortcomings, it's still great to have a corner store that has just about everything. I can still run out and grab some milk for my wife's cookies when I've finished the last drop and she looks particularly stabby. But it's going to cost $7 for half a gallon.
