Extremely frustrated with this location. We came to pick up a prescription through drive thru and there was an open bag of trail mix on the counter next to prescriptions. We come to this location often to refill our family prescriptions, including my daughters Epi-Pens for her anaphylactic peanut allergy. Peanut protein is very easy to transferred to other surfaces or onto medication, and the lack of knowledge and carelessness is sad. This type of cross contamination could cause a reaction for my little girl and that is not a risk my family is willing to take. I did take pictures, but couldn't attach them. Please take the time to educate your employees about high allergen food, and review your policies and procedures to prevent a terrible situation. Walgreens pharmacy is a joke. I quit using the pharmacy years ago because of how awful their processing time, insurance review, and service was. I have been miserably sick. My prescriptions were sent in prior to 10 AM today. I followed up at 1:13 pm. The young lady at the drive up window said they were ready. I asked when they would be. She said come back around 2-2:30 as they were taking their lunch at 1:30. I gave notice that I had a different insurance. She asked if I wanted to update it then or when I come back. There were additional cars behind me, considering they were heading for lunch shortly I told her we could update when I came back as I was trying to be mindful of the additional customers as well as the staff. Fast forward to 3:20 this afternoon. My prescriptions STILL were not ready. I asked why and she said because my insurance denied it. Mind you, I previously told them I had new insurance. They did not call me to give notice that (the old) insurance denied my script(s). I asked how long it was going to take this time around. The same young lady said either later this evening or tomorrow morning. By this point, I am BEYOND UPSET. I proceed to ask for them to transfer my prescriptions to Walmart and explain that this is the exact reason I never fill my prescriptions at this Walgreens. There was a blonde pharmacy technician that then takes over the phone from the brunette and begins speaking over me. Telling me I'm going to have to call Walmart and have Walmart call Walgreens for the transfer. She then finishes with do you want your prescriptions or not. If you know ANYTHING about customer service, this is not it. I contacted my doctor and ha the scripts transferred. Guess who had them ready within 23 minutes of transfer. WALMART. Walgreens. Do. Better. Teach your techs better customer service. At the end of the day your customers are what make your paycheck possible. Don't forget that. Big or small businesses always start with one customer. A happy customer tells no one. An unhappy customer tells 10. Walgreens may be a large corporation. But it doesn't take much to extend an olive branch. read more

How is pharmacy temporarily closed with no explanation or contacting people who need medication. Some people need medication to literally live and this place time and time again is absolutely terrible. The pharmacy staff is INCREDIBLY rude and ignorant. Walgreens online pharmacy has been insanely frustrating to deal with. I've literally been on the phone with them five times now trying to get my prescription filled. Somehow, that ended up with my prescription being transferred to a Walgreens pharmacy in Chandler, AZ (spoiler alert- I don't even live in the state of AZ). Anyway, when I asked for contact info for the pharmacy my prescription got sent to (online said they couldn't fix it and I had to reach out to the AZ pharmacy directly), the person I spoke to in the online pharmacy GAVE ME THEIR OWN CONTACT NUMBER (I didn't realize that until I had hung up). Anyway, it appears the lovely city of Chandler has roughly 187 different Walgreens locations to choose from, so I randomly started with this one. The person I spoke with was super nice and helpful, and was able to transfer me to the correct pharmacy. 10/10 would recommend this location, 0/10 for the online pharmacy as I still haven't been able to get the prescription filled. read more

Pharmacy is horrible and poor customer service! I drove 4 times to get my prescription even after my Dr. office verbally called in my prescription...:they had no record of it. Had my Dr move it to CVS and within 15 mins had a confirmation that my prescription was filled and ready for pickup. Will never use Walgreens again! read more

We had to come pick up our medicine and the drive thru was closed due to staffing shortages. There was a LONG LONG line inside the store. The staff (pharmacist, pharmacy techs, clerks, store managers) everyone stayed calm, they worked as fast as possible and tried their best to stay positive with all the sick and impatient customers waiting and waiting. I felt so bad for the workers in this store. You could tell they were all extremely tired but were doing their best and still managed to be polite and friendly through it all. "Extreme staffing shortages." Good luck if you're sick and need your prescription same day. My daughters Rx was faxed in the morning well before their lunch break. You can't call you see if your prescription is ready because per one of staff members, "We can't get to the phones." Drive Thru is closed so you have to walk in with your sick child. Wait in a 20 minute long line to be told it's not ready. It's been over 4 hours since her Rx was faxed. Unacceptable. Avoid this place. read more

Dear Walgreens, I am a 16 year old girl with my boyfriend walking to this nearby Walgreens trying to find Plan B. We were both already embarressed to go in and so we walked straight in to get it. Finally we walk to the regester and the boy there (who was our age) welcomed us with a smile. We put the Plan B up and he jokes with us (generally trying to make the interaction less awkward) and it worked. He reccomened us to go on the website to get 10% off and told me some tips and tricks with using it. To be honest I think it was the best someone could have gone through for that interaction that we had. I finally shook his hand, and my boyfriend had the uttermost respect for him. I know this location has been hammered for low staffing since Covid and I experienced it too but that to me is somewhat out of their hands. I have received excellent customer service at this location. I went to this store 4 minutes before the pharmacy closed. I called from the parking lot and they were able to confirm my second insurance covered the cost and he made sure it was filled because I advised I would be leaving town first thing in the morning. Went to this Walgreens for my flu shot. Had an appointment. Had my paperwork completed before I got there. Had to wait thirty minutes. The guy giving the shots doesn't use an alcohol wipe on your arm before the shot! There are germs on our skin! read more

Amazing this drug store does not even carry simple basic medication's without using supply chain issue excuses. I had my prescription called in at noon and when I got to the store they say oh so sorry in a broken Hindi english accent? Prednisone will not be in stock in our pharmacy for at least 2 to 4 days you come back then. No! I don't come back especially since pharmacy had no courtesy to call me to indicate they could not fill my script. Incompetent pharmacists and pharm staff left my DISABLED daughter without any pain meds today after promising they had meds in stock. When she arrived there were no meds and staff offered absolutely NO assistance. My wife and I went there an hour ago to get passport photos. We needed 6 a piece for our upcoming trips. I can understand their policy of $12.99 for the first two photos, as you are paying for the service they provide, not just the photos. However, I was appalled when they rang us up at $75 for 12 photos!!! As mentioned, I understand the cost for the first photos, however for the additional they aren't performing the service over and over, just printing out the same pictures! A normal picture in that size will be like 20 cents a piece. Needless to say, we returned the photos and are going to another local big chain department that charges less than 1/3 as much. read more

DO NOT use this pharmacy if you need your prescriptions in any timely manner. I'm a type 1 diabetic, 37 weeks pregnant. My OB sent in a prescription for Humulin because my insulin pump stopped working. I needed it to manage my overnight basal. My OB sent the prescription at 10am. My husband went to get the prescription at 8pm and it still wasn't filled. Not only not filled, they didn't even have it in stock. They couldn't even call and say the insulin I NEED as a pregnant T1D isn't in stock. My provider sent in a prescription for a different insulin at 8:42pm and the pharmacist claimed he never got it (likely because it was right before close and he didn't want to have to fill it). Needless to say, I will never use this location again, this is completely unprofessional. read more

Three times I came by to pick up my prescription. Every day I stopped by they said it would be ready the next day after 3 PM. I finally had it called into a different location as no one could tell me what was causing the delay. After my last attempt I called to speak to someone. The male that answered the phone said come on back it's ready now. I could hear the counter girl complaining about me in the background as she was upset that I had asked her point blank why it was not ready yet. I was upset for the 16 mile round trip detour but glad to finally get my medicine. I never received a kind word or an apology. This is the Walgreens I've been using for about three years now. The employees are very kind especially at the makeup check out counter. I've always been offered help and greeted with smiles. I use this pharmacy as well and twice they were out of stock of medicine for my husband and I both but other than that we haven't had any problems. read more
