The pharmacy is consistently understaffed, as a result customers should be prepared to wait for at least 30-60 minutes to pick up a prescription. It is completely unacceptable, and inexcusable for a pharmacy to be run so poorly. Believe all of the bad reviews, they're all true. read more

Trying to get a prescription transferred to this location, called pharmacy, and someone in pharmacy kept picking up the phone and putting me back in the queue. This went on for a while, and then the phone just rang.and rang, for so long that I was finally cut off. I would not recommend sending or dealing with this Walgreens pharmacy. read more

This a super nice Walgreens. Always clean every time I have been in there. Right along Armitage along all the shops just a short walk from either Halstead or the Armitage train stop in the opposite direction. Three floors. Ground floor has the food photo station and greeting cards. Upstairs is mostly beauty and personal care toiletries. Downstairs is the pharmacy and other typical drugstore items school supplies batteries etc Staff service is decent, had a few poor experiences where they were unprofessional. read more

I've been repeatedly calling for over an hour. They keep hanging up without ever answering the phone. Similar to what someone else said they just loop you back through the queue, before eventually disconnecting you. It's during open hours and not during break hours. The Walgreens line to contact them through chat or phone is also completely incapable of doing anything helpful. They say they can't contact the pharmacy. Walgreens told me they'd refill a Rx 35 days ago. And they haven't. And no one is helping to resolve this. You had one job! read more

Literally keeps getting worse. Very understaffed and the ones there seem to move in slow motion. There is never a time that I've gone in the last 2 years that there hasn't been a line at least 3-4 people deep. read more

I just visited 834 w Armitage 25 minutes before close. The pharmacist named Dingyu just refused to fill a needed prescription because he reported he had a lot of flu shots today and needed to log them into the system. As a prescriber, I will never refer patients to this site and I will consider nearby cvs' directly due to this pharmacist and how I was treated, due to this delay in medical care. read more

The pharmacy doesn't care about the health of their patients. They wouldn't fill my rx bc I was at 27 days (instead of 28) and wouldn't let me fill it the next day bc my rx was 91 days old and they said I had to fill the day before (when the refused to fill it). read more

The pharmacy is pretty bad. We went there for flu shots 20 minutes before it closed, and the pharmacist said "we ask that you come more than 30 minutes before closing" and refused to give us the flu shots. I had called earlier to find out what time they closed and nobody mentioned anything about it actually closing a half hour before the stated time. I asked her where it said that, and she responded, "we just ask that," and wouldn't budge, despite there being no one else around. Dumb. Sorry you want to leave work so bad. read more

This Walgreens has continually had problems getting my child's monthly medication. I can somehow get the prescription at many other Walgreens for some reason. This month it took 18 days after I tried to refill my prescription for the pharmacist to call me and tell me the medication was on backorder. 18 days!!!! I had my doctor call in the prescription downtown and had the medication the same day. read more

Every time I go in the staff is so friendly and helpful. Leah is the best in the world, I don't know how she does it! I was purchasing vagisil (nor was I embarrassed because women's health is important and normal) and when I was checking out the cashier had said "yikes that's embarrassing" and "hopefully my other comrades are turned around so they don't see that" like in what world is it okay to make a comment like that. Avoid this location at all costs. It is chronically understaffed at the pharmacy. There is almost always a line...and not because they are busy, but because they frequently have problems filling orders. Normal wait is 30 minutes or more if anyone in front of you has even the slightest complication with their order. read more

I frequent this Walgreens and had a stand out experience on 8/2. I wish I got the cashier's name but it was around 1p and he helped me with a rewards points issue. He took the time to figure it out and fixed it for me. He was very patient and explained to me what happened. Apparently, I wasn't getting my points right and it had to be fixed. I didn't know that! I'm glad he caught it and he was very friendly. The employees here are usually friendly and get the line down as fast as they can. I can usually find what I need. I did have a question for the pharmacist once and she was very nice. Not sure if they have restrooms, I never really looked for them but will keep my eye out and update. read more

This store is very dirty and an armed robbery took place this month inside the store to a customer using the ATM. This aside, I went there today and they were conducting business with two registers next to each other rather than creating some space between the four cash registers so as to adhere to 6 feet of social distancing. I vow every time I go there that I will shop somewhere else. Since I don't want to get sick, I don't have a choice now and will have to find another store that takes COVID-19 seriously. read more

I used their online picture printing system where you order photos online and then you pick up in stores. Photos printed in a few hours or less. There is usually always a promo code online when you look for a walgreens picture coupon. I got 40% on my purchase of pictures. The employees were also very helpful and the line moved quickly. read more

Brand new location conveniently located on Armitage and Dayton. This store is 3 levels. The different aisles aren't as large as some of the other stores that I've been to. The store is very well stocked and organized. The beverage fridge is clean and neatly organized. All of the items are faced to perfection as well as the tags being placed in the correct location. The employees are very personable and are always willing to help. read more

This is just a tip to watch your receipt, the register rang me up for a $21 flash drive and I wasn't even getting anything electronic, I was actually buying some gum and other grocery products. The weird thing is the cashier and I looked all around the counter and there wasn't even a flash drive on the counter that could have been mistakenly swiped, WEIRED isn't it? Glad I looked at the register read out before paying for my $1.69 gum it was going to turn out to be a $27 dollar purchase if I hadn't seen the screen and asked the cashier what is this line item for. She was just as amazed as I was that something came up like that and she even said that the person before me had some water to ring up so where the flash drive came up is just a mystery to both of us. Horrible people working at pharmacy who don't care about others only about closing early and clocking out. Showed up at 4:58 to get a script filled and her response is wont be ready till tomorrow because we are already closing up. When I explained it was time sensitive and couldn't wait till tomorrow.... all she could say is we already started closing up. Shouldn't you wait till closing time to start closing up? Not start closing early so you can clock out right at 5! read more

Over the past several months, this pharmacy has increasingly become incompetent while covering up their mistakes and failures. Some of these have included lost prescriptions that I confirmed were sent in by my doctors, filled and then lost prescriptions, filled wrong prescription, and not following up with notification when filled. For each screw-up, staff including Pharmacists would make up non-sensical excuses or be outright untruthful, laying blame on everyone (including us) and everything else. This included claiming that their own Walgreens app is unreliable and information regarding submitted and completed prescriptions was wrong. BTW confirmed that my doctor had indeed sent in the prescription the app showed was filled. Finally, forget about courtesy or discretion when the Pharmacist will loudly ask you if you have any question while loudly pronouncing the medication so everyone nearby knows your malady. In the end, I do not do business with anyone that can't trusted to be truthful and makes up stupid excuses to cover their mistakes. Even though we live just around the corner, we have had it with Walgreens and will find a less convenient pharmacy but more competent Pharmacy. read more

I usually love this Walgreens and their checkout associates, but tonight that was not the case. I came in 5 minutes before closing to grab ONE thing. Their manager Zach clearly looked angry that I had walked in even though they were still open. My friend put down a bag of chips and he basically assaulted her grabbing them from where she had temporarily put them down. He was very rude and angry. Very inappropriate. I am overall disappointed that Walgreens chooses to employ people who do not want to be there. read more
