Walgreens is a false promise. I had to overnight a FedEx document; Walgreens came up as the FedEx shipping location. I called and a young man said they have everything I'd need, just check with a cashier. I went straight there, needing to get this document sent with no delay. When I reached the Walgreens, I met with a cashier who advised they didn't carry FedEx envelopes or any FedEx supplies of any kind - they can only accept packages completely ready to ship. She sent me across the street to a mailboxes location who had everything I needed and took my document, packaged it in a FedEx envelope, affixed the shipping label and guaranteed to get it out today - they did. Walgreens IS NOT a FedEx shipping spot! read more

I needed 4 passport photos. Walgreens only gives you two, so they charged me like they had to do the whole process two times instead of just charging me for two (tiny) extra photos. The first two and the fee for taking them was $16.00. The second two cost me another $16.00. Don't ever go to Walgreens for passport photos. read more

If there was 10 stars, I would give it a whole 10 stars for this store thanks to the supervisor Cynthia. She is very kind, polite and super helpful. I got my passport photos messed up because someone cut off a part of my hair on top of my head, but Cynthia while she was super busy with all the other things and helped out other customers, she still kept calm, managed things in orders, then helped me out with the best attitude ever I have ever been served in any Walgreens location. I really appreciate Cynthia. I would love to come back to this Walgreens thanks to her. I hesitated to visit this store before because of some unpleasant services. But Cynthia changed my mind. only giving two stars because there was at least ONE employee that was helpful and considerate. the Indian lady that "helped" me after the actual helpful one had to clock off lied straight to me face about WiFi when trying to choose them to print my photo through plus purposely starting a long print project knowing I was trying to upload the last of my photo to print and be out of her hair. for you to go out of your way to be that UNHELPFUL I hope you lose your job will not be returning. read more

I don't know what happened to this pharmacy, but lately it's been terrible. I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for 20 years and today we went to get a standard pain reliever filled for my father after a medical procedure. He would need it within a couple of hours before the local wore off, but they couldn't even give us an idea of what time it might be ready or that it would even be ready today. We went across the street to the Fred Meyer pharmacy. He had never had a prescription filled there before, but they had him set up in their system and his prescription filled within 20 minutes. We've been having trouble with the pharmacy here now for a couple of months. We've had doctors leave voice messages that are not returned, and prescriptions that we wait for days and need to continually follow up on. After all these years, I'm done with Walgreens. read more

I have had the worst experience with the Chinese pharmacist at w Walgreens in Covington. A few times she shorted my medications, so many times I have to call to confirm they received my prescription that was sent over from my doctor. Antibiotics took 2 or 3 days to fill. The last incident was my eye doctor sent eye drop prescription on 03/06/24. I stopped by and they did not fill it. I was told she need to order it and come back tomorrow. I asked her why it was not fille? Her answer was "I don't know " Her fucking job is to fill the prescription as it comes in. Now it has been 8 days. Walgreens should hire a capable pharmacist. read more

This has to do with the pharmacy specifically. Here's the experience that finally got me to post a review. Had similar ones here, but this will be the last time here. Injury, prescription called in from ER late night to pick up in morning. First attempt 11:00 am - told not ready, please try back in 30 minutes. Ok will do. Second attempt 1:10 pm - told wasn't ready for unknown reason, try back in ten minutes and it will be done. Sure Third attempt 1:35 pm - sign saying pharmacist at lunch 1:30-2:00. Ridiculous. Fourth attempt 2:10 pm - Finally ready. Several other pharmacy options in area. Use a different one. read more

This is only reflective of the pharmacy manager. I take a seizure medication and when I miss one days dose, I have severe grand Mal seizures. Every month when I go after THIRTY days to refill it, she puts a notation on my account to not allow me to fill it for 31, sometimes 32 days. As a result I have had massive seizures where I bit off parts of my tongue, ruptured discs in my back and broke my ankle.my Dr. Assured me this past appointment that he wrote it correctly and she wouldn't be able to do it to me again, but she is. I don't know what she could possibly be thinking but I'm moving my medication to a different pharmacy and taking my attorney with me, to do it. I see her do this to other random people in line that need cancer medication etc. I'm taking legal action and I strongly recommend that you only use that pharmacy for medications that aren't necessary for your survival. read more

Let's not discuss the pharmacy, shall we? I could write a novella on why ALL Walgreen's pharmacies are horrible and that's why I stopped using them many, many years ago. Based on complaints I continue to hear from patients, things still haven't changed. As a drug store, this Walgreen's is A-Okay! When I go in the store is overall clean and has good organization. Walgreen's, like many other drug stores, is so much more than that as they also have a pretty sizable grocery section. Surprisingly they actually have some really good prices, sometimes even cheaper than the grocery store. They also sell alcohol...get the supplies to nurse your hangover and the stuff to give you the hangover all in one place!! The floor staff here has always been friendly and helpful, making my trip pleasant and fast! read more

The regular staff is very good. They are super friendly and do a great job. The store is generally clean and organized ;when they are not stocking. I love their selection of "As seen on tv" merchandise. Pharmacy could use some customer service classes. And maybe even more pharmacological classes. This review is only for the pharmacy - the store staff is great (hence the 2nd star)! Every time I have ever gone to this pharmacy, the staff is rude, abrupt, and unhelpful. They act like you are inconveniencing them by being a customer and they have to actually speak to you (God forbid). My husband and I have both waited in the drive-thru for over 10 minutes before after the pharmacist said he'd be right with us. If I wasn't moving out of the state, I would change pharmacies in a heartbeat. One of my neighbors actually had a Facebook status the other day about how rude this pharmacy's staff was to her and her sick child, which was then followed up by 10+ comments from other people saying they've experienced the same thing. read more

Well tonight was my first and last experience at the Covington Walgreen's. The manager is absolutely terrible! She is beyond rude! She argues with customers over the store items being miss marked. HOW is that the customers fault!?! If a item marked clearance, wouldn't you think that item is marked down?That is not the customers fault and you should honor the prices YOUR store is advertising! Losing a customer over $1 price difference!?!?! Wow Walgreen's you need a new manager for this location! I see multiple complaints on here about her!!! At least the guy working the front counter was nice. I will be driving the extra 15-20 minutes to go to the other locations or I'll just go to target. This Walgreens is one of the best, the staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful, seems like they need more employees though. I always see rude customers come in and attack the employees for basically anything outside of their control and i hate it and the yelp reviews i see just dont make sense to me, i am in here constantly ive been coming here for years and i have never had a problem with anyone!! I dont get the point of all these ad hominem attacks...are these cashiers not people to you? DO NOT go to Walgreens to fill a prescription. I filled a prescription for (21) 25MG pills of the generic for Seroquel (Quentiapine). I was charged for the name brand as you can see by the comparable prices posted online by Costco Pharmacy.
