Dr. Kwok's office accepts both. His Staff was friendly and helpful right from the start, showing patience and kindness to me and with my previous dentist office when trying to get my family's past records and dental scans. My cleaning and exam went well, no soreness afterwards, my teeth AND GUMS feel great. Dr. Kwok has a gentle touch, answered some concerns I had, asked questions about past dental procedures/history, and listened. One thing that stood out about this dentist office is that both my hygienist Betty, and Dr, Kwok didn't sit. They stood and had my chair so that my head was at their level, no towering over, no uncomfortable dental chair maneuvers where the patient feels like they are going to be dumped on their head, and no hair pulling! LOL ..and believe me, I was constantly saying, "don't dump me on my head and don't pull my hair today" at every visit with my previous dentist. Not having this added stress was NICE! My previous dentist had clearly told me that if it hurt again, I would need a root canal and a crown. I told Dr. Yeh clearly that I wanted a root canal and had even purchased dental insurance specifically for that reason. But he insisted it wasn't necessary yet and that the nerve was still fine -- so he suggested another filling. I trusted his judgment at the time because he spoke Chinese and seemed experienced. He said he would fill two teeth, but without clearly informing me, he filled three. Afterward, I had pain, bite problems, and eventually a gum fistula -- a sign of infected or necrotic pulp. I contacted him again, but by that point I had completely lost trust and refused further treatment. Even with insurance, I paid around $450 out-of-pocket. The money isn't the main issue -- it's the feeling of being misled and ignored, despite being clear about what I wanted. Now years later, I still regret not insisting on what I knew was right for me. I'm sharing this so others can make better-informed decisions. Just because someone speaks your language doesn't mean they'll act in your best interest. Please be cautious.

Her dental assistant was so kind as to let me squeeze her hand as firmly as I needed which was very sweet. Dr. Chen also personally reached out to check in with me after the surgery as well. I was charged twice for a bill that I had already paid six months ago. When I tried to explain the situation, the accounting person wouldn't listen and kept insisting I hadn't paid.
