I mention this simply because, while we waited, we observed a pharmacy staff of 6-7 (pharmacists, pharm techs, clerks, etc.) fighting an uphill battle to complete tasks and serve a flood of clients. To their credit, they performed with great efficiency and were respectful, helpful, and welcoming to all with whom they dealt. I was impressed. I have no pharmacy experience, but as a retired biomedical professional with an understanding of difficulties in the industry that have grown since the recent pandemic, I observed obvious staffing issues that must be addressed by management. I'm sure that duties have increased for all employees (especially for registered pharmacists!), but this does not excuse superhuman workloads. I hope that management will find original and equitable solutions to this issue.

This review is associated with the 190 Walgreens, which I have been to many times, but it could be for any of them, really. I've never been to a Walgreen's where the staff wasn't nice, the store wasn't clean, or there was a problem checking out. Also, Walgreens doesn't have a stupid "customer card," which is a plus in my book and, unlike another drugstore chain I could mention, you don't have to go hunting for someone to check you out.

I came upon this lovely little shop on a recent Saturday when exploring historic Downtown Covington. Owned & operated by a cool chica that established Lucy's Artisan Apothecary as an online business before gracing Downtown with a brick and mortar store. This is the type of place that all locals need to support because the products are made with quality and love. The cleaning product I purchased is concentrated and enough to make a strong 11 gallons of product! It smells of clove and other delicious oils (I love love love clove!) and is a fraction of the price of the regular all natural cleaning product I currently use (even cheaper than Mrs. Meyer's concentrated cleaner too!) Aromatherapy is a real thing because this product makes me want to clean more. Whoever thought that cleaning would be an enjoyable endeavor?!
