Hi, I have been a Walgreens customer since 2001. The staff is usually really helpful and friendly. But what happened yesterday really made me angry. I came to the pharmacy to pick up one prescription, it was exactly 1:30 PM. I didn't know It's a lunch break but the window was still open and there were no other customers behind me. The pharmacy technician told me to come back later and close the window in front of my eyes. And there were 2 other technicians there, it would give her just a minute to give me my prescription. I would never close the window in front of the customer. It was very disrespectful. read more

I stopped in here on a Friday evening to pick up a few things. The store was well-stocked. It was easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was helpful and friendly and opened up a second checkout lane when the line got long. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. read more

Walgreens in Creve Coeur Missouri has deteriorated! This location is an embarrassment to West County. The staff (store and pharmacy) are unprofessional and rude. The best description I could apply is the store has incompetent management and staff follow their lack of professionalism. I changed to CVS Creve Coeur and it has been 6 months to date. The store management is responsive and professional, the pharmacy technicians helpful and seem to really enjoy their work. Six out of the last six times I came to pick up a prescription. It actually wasn't ready even though they indicate it was. This last time I had a phone call that said you have a prescription ready come and pick it up. I went to pick it up and the girl Behind the counter indicated there was nothing there and she just was very snotty about the whole thing to be honest. Is there a better Walgreens to use in this one? I have used this one for many many years and been satisfied, but in the last six or eight months, it has gone downhill fast. What has changed? read more

I stopped by to pick up a prescription at 4pm today and I was greeted by the most friendly girl, it really made me smile! I went through the drive through and she was so cheerful and friendly, it almost caught me off guard. I really appreciate all of the staff here. read more

Me and my friend have been going to this Walgreens for the past year and a half and bringing our electric scooters in. and have had no trouble with that no one has said anything to us about it. And today a man Karen came up to us and told us we cannot have them in the store. Mind you mine is a $400 electric scooter and my friends is a $300 electric scooter. We do not ride them around the store or anything. We normally put them in a cart and we push the cart around. And mainly the reason we bring them in is to not be stolen. Would go here again, but hope to never see him again ever. read more

I have been a customer at the Walgreens at Mason and Olive for a long time. It went downhill for a while and the service was not good. I want to say that over the last year the service has improved. The staff has changed. The pharmacy had improved in speed for customers and the staff is more friendly and helpful. The last time I was there in late fall for vaccinations for flu and COVID booster, there was an appropriate wait time and friendly service. I was pleased to see the effort to improve! read more

The pharmacy is so very slow and staff is always rude. There are a few staff members like the lady in cosmetics and one front counter checker who are super nice but getting help here is impossible, staff are so rude for the most part and when you have a problem, they go out of their way to be snippy, rude and make things worse! The only reason I stay here is because I have some scripts that would be too difficult to transfer. Over all I do not think this store is the best at their customer service and some things I look for are simply not at this drugstore but can be found at CVS. I am not ever going to recommend this store but if you have to go here stop by cosmetics and have the lovely lady there check you out, it's a much more pleasant experience! read more

Went here to get prescriptions for my sister while she was in surgery. They lady, Carol, at the pharmacy only gave us 2 out of 4 prescriptions and she wasn't the most friendly woman ever. They were out of one prescription and she said it'd be cheaper to buy the other one OTC, after I asked her where the other prescriptions were. Debby on the other hand at checkout was a total sweetheart! She gave us a reward, greeted us, and thanked us as we left to get our sister and make our 3 hour drive home. Would visit again, just not the pharmacy. read more

They stock frequently and the cashiers were very friendly when I went. Store was clean and I was happy to see they had more than one checkout ready for us so early in the morning which made my errand run quick and painless. read more

The pharmacy is great if you don't mind having the pharmacist shout out the names of the medications you've been prescribed. If I were a man filling out a prescription for viagra, I would definitely go elsewhere as there is absolutely no discretion. The female pharmacist aides are fine; I would given them 4 stars. Averaged with the zero stars for the pharmacist (he is the pharmacist, I asked), the score is 2 stars. read more

I bought five things today. Everything was on sale. Total savings were 32%. The checkout clerk was friendly, and asked if I am a Balance Rewards member. She also asked me how I was today and said, "Have a nice day" when I left. I earned 350 Balance Rewards points: 100 everyday points and 250 bonus points with one of my purchases. It's extremely beneficial to watch Walgreens sales and what products earn you bonus points. read more

When you're within walking distance of your residence in a foreign city you get thumbs up in my book. Why? Because sometimes you run out of things and the person you're staying with has the car and you just need to go get it. read more

Did I seriously get greeted at the counter by a 90 year old lady with a huge blow pop sucker in her mouth, that didn't even bother to take it out before she talked to me. This is just the first of many problems I have with this location. Slow staff, blind staff, deaf staff, untrained on your new register's staff. I honestly think they staffed this location from the nursing home down the street. Though the bigger lady that works back in photo is really nice and speedy. She is cool. I have since quit going to that particular Walgreens, though I will visit other locations as needed. I quit using their expensive pharmacy years ago but did pop in to get one of the kids a vaccine she didn't have right before school started. The Take Care Clinic was very nice to deal with, had us in and out in a jiffy. read more

This pharmacy is terrible! Why does it take 2.5 hours to fill a bottle of amoxicillin? People don't get prescribed this medicine for fun. They actually need it! Not sure if this is a process issue or a people issue and I don't care. Walgreens just needs to figure it out and fix it! This is not the first time this has happened and it's ridiculous! read more

The worst pharmacy experience. Been standing here for 45 min and the pharmacists are having arguments with eachother while customers are waiting in line. Too much attitude. If they don't like working in pharmacy, they should not opt for this career. Unbelievably poor customer service. I have been coming here for years and it has never been this bad. read more

The cashiers are generally good, with the exception of Judy who usualy works evenings. She is frequently rude to customers and makes unflattering comments. It is so pronounced that I have decided not to shop there when I see she is working. read more

Their phamacy staff is rude and nasty, and so is their female evening manager. I had a prescription that is covered by my UHC plan (through Caremark). I have never had a problem using my UHC card anywhere else. I took a prescription to this store. The gal asked for my UHC card and went away to look up the prescription part of the UHC card. The gal came back and said it was all set. I came the next day to pick it up and they asked for my card again and said it was no good. I was furious, they wanted $78 for a prescription that yesterday they said was "all set". I called the phone number on my UHC card to get the prescription info (which is what the Walgreens staff are supposed to do). By that time I had three women yammering at me rudely (who all refused to call UHC to get the prescription info). I could not talk to the UHC people with all this commotion and gave up. I said they could keep their "damned" drugs and demanded the prescription back. The evening store manager (an aggressive brunette woman with big glasses -- I think her name was Amber) called the police and threw me out of the store because I said "damned". She said I was not allowed to talk to her people that way (never mind the fact they were completely failing to do their job calling UHC and trying to rip me off for $78). I went to CVS further West on Olive, which filled the prescription in 20 minutes with no problem fully covered with $0 copay. I went back to the Walgreens to show "Amber" that I was right and she was wrong. She physically blocked the store door with another guy, called the police, and was yelling at me. I audio recorded it all, and took a photo of her chasing me out of the store for evidentiary purposes. Four people in the pharmacy and the evening manager DID NOT DO THEIR JOB -- THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL PROVIDERS TO GET THE PRESCRIPTION INFO IF IT IS NOT ON THE CARD. After the ordeal, I went home, called UHC, and got the coverage info in a few minutes. They were surprised that Walgreens refused to call them and said that is what they are supposed to do. Stores can get this infomation a lot faster because they have direct lines and in some cases database connections and do not have to wade through the mazelike consumer PBX. I am furious with these people and will sue them for harassment if they bother me again. I will visit the District office in Earth City next week with audio recordings and a photo of the wicked witch evening manager. Their pharmacy people should be disciplined and the evening manager fired. Managers are supposed to solve problems, not abuse customers and call the police. Actually, I should have had my head examined going to this store, but I thought I would give them a chance. I had stopped going to this store about 3 years ago because when I had a prescription sent there, half the time they bounced it to another Walgreens about 4 miles West on the other side of I-270 without telling me. Nothing like having to go two places when you are sick. The people who run this store do not have their act together nor do they care. I complained last week because they only stock 1 SKU in 1 shelf space (about 4 units) of belted adult shields (which are required for those who just had a hip replacement and cannot bend over to put on disposable underwear. They were out of them and my wife needed more right away. This store is 5 minutes from my house so it is very convenient. I ended up going to CVS, who has more stock. Walgreens has a wall full of about 15 or more SKU's of disposable underwear that hip replacement people cannot use. Lots of people get hip replacements. Walgreens does not care -- they want to sell the more expensive disposable undies to business people too lazy to do their own laundry. The manager said their was nothing he could do about the inventory levels - which I do NOT believe for one minute. I hope Walgreens closes this store. read more

I HATE going to Walgreens now due to a poor staffing choice. There is a woman that is working there in the early morning (between 6 and 7). She looks like she hates her job and hates working for the company. One day, on my way to work, I stopped to pick up some ink pens and a diet coke. When I approached her, she looked like she was in pain because she could not log into her register. I asked her if she was okay. SHE ASKED ME TO LOG HER OUT OF THE REGISTER ACROSS THE AISLE. I did not know how to log her out and she looked at me...sighed...and then walked around the register....sighed again...and then came back. No "How are you?" No, "Your total is...." No "Thank you" or "Be Well." This woman looks like she hates her job and has tarnished my view on the company. This is not a one time incident. This is a reoccurring instance. It has gotten to the point where I will drive an extra half mile to go to CVS. HORRIBLE! read more
