I gave 5 stars based on my limited interaction here. Store was very clean and well stocked (take that FWIW coming from a City resident where every retail establishment is dirty and bare shelved). I was greeted as soon as I came in by an enthusiastic cashier. I was a little turned off by the employee stocking an aisle who couldn't stop violently coughing. I felt bad for her, but she sounded like she should've been home. They didn't have what I came for, but I knew it was 50/50 that they would (posterboard...maybe they don't carry it anymore?). If I were in the area again, I would stop here if I needed anything from Walgreens. read more

Decided to browse in here while I was waiting for my movie time . While looking for snacks , markdowns were going on . Ladies I'm not sure how your PH balance is but the markdowns were phenomenal. I've never tried feminine body wash but knowing how expensive they are and seeing the markdowns, it's worth a visit to go check them out. It's Pennie's on the dollar for some. read more

Typical drug store, located in Creve Coeur. I Needed to waste some time before picking up my food at a nearby restaurant. Staff was cordial when spoken you. The young man working the register was polite. I was able to use my coupons via the Walgreens app. So many markdowns and sales happening. read more

Alysse in the Creve Coeur pharmacy is simply fantastic. She does a great job, keeps a positive attitude and offers a dedication to detail and is just a pleasure to work with. I pick up 18 medications at one time! Crazy. Whenever there is an issue, she has and keeps a great attitude throughout the ordeal. I can always hear and understand her on the intercom speaker. Waiting 40 hours after calling to have a prescription refilled is ridiculous. Customer service isn't a big priority here.

For years I utilized this location for prescriptions and other purchases. This store is at best "the worst in customer service" and providing respect to customers. This includes pharmacy staff many have "attitude" and "chips on their shoulder" and this has not place in the customer service industry. Just as a reality check please remember commercial pharmacies are dispensary centers. It is not as if you are preparing TPN, IV admixture, chemotherapeutic agents. etc. Get a grip! read more

December 28, after a trim with Vince, I was a-comin' for specific Olay skin creams I saw advertised on TV. OK, they were on sale. Buy one, get one free. So, I did that. Then, I made the mistake of trolling the aisles. I got hand sanitizers on sale: buy one, get 50% off the second. And Quest cookies that were sort-of on sale. It beats the regular price! read more

I will NEVER again step foot in this Walgreens location and neither will my family!!! They sold my husband the wrong behind-the-counter sinus medicine. When I went back in to exchange it, they said it was not exchangeable. I expressed my dissatisfaction, tossed the box on the counter, asked them to throw the box in the trash and to give me the correct medication. The pharmacist then said "I thew the box at her" and she then tossed it back on the counter towards me. I asked for a manager. When the manager came, before I could get a word out, the one gal behind the counter said I threw a box at them, and without hearing what I had to say, the manager told me to leave the store. I could not believe my ears! I told him that I am a good customer and that I spend a lot of money at this Walgreens but he did not care, and then preceded to call the POLICE! I told him, I will never come back to this store again! He followed me out the door while still on the phone with the police. Once I got onto the parking lot, another customer who was also walking out said she couldn't believe the way he treated me. The store manager and the two ladies behind the counter were black and I am a white woman in my 50's and as much as I hate to say it, I feel that I was treated unfairly because I am white. read more

9-27-18 Pharmacy is poor with prescriptions SLOW. Doctors office faxed new prescription for diabetic test strips. Called several times over several days. Problems. Talked with pharmacist to clarify....advised correct test strip and testing devise. Pharmacist advised prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. I felt relieved problem solved. Arrived next day to pick up prescription. Still not Solved ! Arrived this evening 8PM. Waited 15 minutes at drive thru window. Now insurance issues. This location has serious problems!!!!!!!!! We are looking at CVS now. PS We have had other problems in the past....so this was NOT the first time. read more

The pharmacy at this location offers Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations but the staff is unorganized. The wait was over an hour and they seem perfectly fine letting you wait. I do not recommend getting your shots at this Walgreens! Beware! read more

Worst organization ever. I went to get Covid-19 test that should've been ready for 2 hours, 20 hours later I didn't receive an email with the results. I called the location they said I'm positive for Covid-19 but they can't send me the results and I have to stop by the store, while sick, to get the results so I can send it to work. read more

Poor manners and poor customer service. I needed a memory card. It was locked behind the register. So I waited in line about 5 minutes until my turn. The person at the cash register didn't have the key, so she asked someone on the floor to get the key. They didn't know where it was, so the manager was called up front. She didn't know where it was. So I suggested that the person at the cash register take the next person in line while the manager went looking for the key. She does, and processes two more customers. 5 minutes later, The manager finds the key and retrieves my item from behind the cash register. Now, there are 3 customers lined up to check out. So, I asked if the manager can open up another register because I lost my place in line. The manager tells me that it is not necessary to open another register because there are only three people in line. Then she tells me that she was short staffed with 3 people in the store. Then she tells me that it would take longer to check me out then for me to wait in line. I was surprised and didn't say a word. So, she reluctantly opened up a register. I'm giving one star instead of zero stars because I was processed rather quickly after the manager opened up the register for me. read more

Let me start by making a statement: Walgreens EVERYWHERE are a plague on humanity! A plague! They are on nearly every street in St. Louis (no shortage in Chicago either ) and I can only assume it's like this in many other cities across the country. They are ugly, they are ruining the environment, they are taking up valuable land, and they are expensive. This particular Walgreens has the WORST pharmacy ever. I'm not even entirely sure there are any real pharmacists back there. I have waited 4 days for a prescription that I was told would be ready in 1 hour! This is absurd. Frequently they didn't fill the prescription yet when you come in at the time it is supposed to be ready. On occasion I have even had them "lose" my prescription. How on earth is this possible? They don't call when it is FINALLY ready either. You have to keep calling them. I hate when you have to do the job and don't get paid for it. Thank God none of my prescriptions have been a matter of life or death or I would not be here right now to write this scathing review. I can see why God kept me here---to spread the word about Walgreens! My life does have a purpose! I will say the Indian woman running the photo department is the NICEST employee any Walgreens could ever ask for. She always talks to me and every time I see her she says I look exactly like her niece. It's neat to know I have a twin out there somewhere! If only she could fill my prescriptions as well. I received great customer service here today! This is going to sound weird, but my favorite brand of toilet paper is actually one of Walgreens' exclusive brands. I know, it's weird, but it's durable and soft and above all else, CHEAP. Today I was in dire need of toilet paper and I stopped here for it. To my dismay, they only had the 12-roll pack which costs over $6. They were out of the 6-roll pack, which happened to be on sale for 2 for $5. I was bummed that they were out of the smaller size with the better deal, but I needed TP so bad, that I had to take one for the team and pay the extra amount. When I checked out, I asked the cashier if they could give me a rain check for the better price. She went and grabbed the promotion price tag from the aisle and then asked if I'd be ok with her adjusting the price of the 12-pack to $5 instead of its regular price. I was super excited! It's weird that they didn't have it on promotion anyway, but what can ya do. After she finished ringing me out, she then informed me that I had accrued enough points on my rewards card to get $2 off my purchase! I of course accepted the discount! How sad is my life, that I got excited about a purchase of toilet paper and a whopping $2 off at Walgreens? 2017's getting off to a great start. read more

What can be said about Walgreens? They are convenient and reasonable. Ont his visit I was more concerned about picking up candy for my recent movie adventure. The location is great for this store as it is seriously on the corner of the AMC Theater and they even have a "movie candy" section. I am a fan and next time I venture to a movie I will stop by for some snacks! read more

So I am tired of pharmacy staff being curt and in bad moods on the phone. Today, my breast cancer surgeon (that's right, I have cancer, and get my meds filled regularly from THIS Walgreens) called an RX for me this afternoon. When we arrive to pick it up, it is A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RX, that this dr has NEVER PRESCRIBED ME. When I call to verify that this indeed, was what she wanted me to Take, the staff member on phone was short, curt, and basically just told me how I was wrong, and she was right. So...I call my surgeons after hours exchange number, SHE just so happens to be the one on call, and she of course says "what???? I've never called that in for you"!!!!!! and said she'd call immediately to fix it/inquire why the wrong ex was given to me. 30 min later, I call Walgreens, and they say "nope, no ones called for you", which in NO WAY IS TRUE. I'm calling dr again in about 20 min. But had to check out the reviews for this location which SURPRISE SURPRISE sucked. I'm at this Walgreens 3x per week at minimum!!!!! Seriously, the worst customer service ever. The line to check out was 15 minutes long. The single person working in the entire store kept paging help to no avail. I waited 5 minutes for no one to come to photo, so I eventually grabbed my own pictures and walked to the terrible line at the front of the store. If I didn't need the photos then, I would have left, gone home and reprinted them to a different store. read more

If you can go to any other pharmacy in St Louis, do it! They fail to get anything right. They remind me via email to refill, then when I do, it's refused by insurance and the price goes to $400 for a $70 refill! They say they are contacting a doctor, but they don't. I wind up taking care of these details myself. I wait and wait in the store. I wait at the drive through, although not as bad as inside. Yesterday I answered one of those "just reply to refill!" and it was 2 days before refill date but they put it through anyway and that took 2 phone calls to fix. I'm the only efficient person in our relationship!! They never get my balance rewards right -- never. The store is good for a quick stop for a few little things -- but that pharmacy -- dear Lord, deliver me. read more

Use this Walgreens regularly as is around the corner from my home, compliments to the staff who are always helpful and friendful, however that being said Dear lord can somebody do something about the pharmacy, , please please please hire additional staff. I am sick to death of waiting for ages to pick up a prescriptions seems everyone is always busy on the phone or dealing with the drive through customers. Same goes for the check out counters, THIS IS A BUSY WALGREENS, so get more staff on the registers so you can stop the long queues, I have walked out of the store several times due to the long queues waiting to check out with only one till open.... read more

Walgreens always goes on about how you're in and out of Walgreens very quickly. Not here. I have wasted most of my breaks from work here waiting in line. It's unbelievable. I go to Walgreens all the time. I mostly don't mind waiting when there's two or three people, but when there are over 5 people in line, something needs to be done. i'm in this walgreens damn near every other day. its close to work and for some reason I treat it like a bodega, just without bodega quality but for the simple pleasure of running in and grabbing a red bull. I never used to do walgreens like this bc of the prices! inflation! buuuutt.....they have a rewards card which is free and the prices you pay for the items that are marked down when u use ur rewards card are very comparable to those of target, so I don't feel bad! they also have their "nice!" brand which is awesome and cheap for the same items that are triple the price. the employees are hit or miss, some super nice and the others are horrible read more

The most incompetent and poorly run pharmacy EVER. Have been trying to get a prescription refilled for three days. No one knows how to do their job AT ALL! 14 phone calls between Walgreens, my doctor and my insurance company it all comes back to this Walgreens pharmacy screw up. Yet when you try to point out the issue to them, they cut you off, are rude and will not take the time to listen to what needs to be done. The wait times here are FOREVER, no matter what time you come in or drive up. It is the closest pharmacy that is in my network, or I would have dropped this place years ago. read more
