I received a text saying my prescription was ready for pickup. I went through the drive through pharmacy, waited 30 minutes to be acknowledged, only to be told they don't have my prescription and it's not in the system. So, please tell me why in the heck would I receive a text that it was ready? The attendant was SO unprofessional, not helpful, rude, and very unintelligent. Hate this Pharmacy! The staff are so rude, slow and ignore you. Heaven forbid the pharmacist has to come from around the corner to talk to you. If your Rx is rejected, you have to make the initiative to get your drugs approved by your insurance, the pharmacy won't. I highly recommend you go to another Walgreens to fill your medicines. I am. I wish I could give this pharmacy zero stars. Save your sanity and avoid this pharmacy at all cost. The incompetence at this place would be laughable if they weren't dealing with prescription medication. I keep having to learn the hard way over and over to never leave without double checking the medication and quantity. I can't tell you how many times they have sold me the wrong quantity causing a nightmare with my insurance that they only exacerbate. I also can't count the times that I have filled a new RX here without a pharmacist coming over to ask me if I have any questions since it is a medicine that they can tell in their records I have never had before. Plus they are rude. And slow. And don't bother calling in the middle of the night when you have a bad reaction to a prescription medication. You might as well ask the bathroom floor for advice. You are better off calling a CVS, or any other Walgreens, really. Everything that you could imagine infuriating about a pharmacy this place delivers in spades. So if you want to wait a really long time to drop off a prescription, only to return and wait even longer to pick it up, be treated like a jerk when you have a problem with being sold the wrong prescription - then go here. This place is terrible. They notify by text that a prescription is ready. You go in, and it's not. The cashiers are slow and rude. I am moving my prescriptions to Kroger or CVS. So I get the flu while on my 3 week business trip, and run into the nearest Walgreens to pick up several things for the hotel. The cashier rings me up and ask me "would you like a bag "I had 11 times" I said, "of course?" he said we have a new policy of charging the customers $.05 a bag. I said "your kidding?" I felt so bad from the flu and just said "ok". Sounds to me like the Walgreens CEO is looking for new revenue streams - $.05 a paper bag. Just got back from this Walgreens for the 4th or 5th time. I laugh at how terrible the customer service is every time I walk out. As I walked out today I asked a guy behind me if he worked there just to be safe. When he said no, I asked him if he thought the service was terrible as I did. I can't type all of the things he said for fear of getting kicked off of Yelp. Some Ukrainian or Slovakian lady that works at the pharmacy got mad at me when I (politely) said I couldn't understand her when she was responding to me after I informed her my prescription was wrong. Maybe she was just mad because of where she was from. And the customer service is just as bad in the rest of the store. So I've transferred to the one on McKinney and it is so much greater. Once I asked the man (who seems constantly happy) behind their pharmacy counter if he's ever been told how terrible the other Walgreens is. He started laughing and whispered, "Countless times." I don't ever review things on Yelp but I just felt like this time it was necessary. Read every other similar review on this page. Take it into account. Good luck read more

Worst pharmacy. Wait is always ridiculous. I have waited over 15 minutes at the drive through for someone to help me even when there is no one else in line. I have always gone here since it's the closest to my house but at this point I rather drive a couple of miles further so I don't have to deal with this pharmacy ever again. read more

I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for over 13 years. For rhe last 2 years I have been treated like dirt by the pharmacy staff at the Cedar Springs store. The store is under staffed. They gave me the wrong medication. They lied to me and said they called my doctor 3 days in a row and the office always answers the phone. They violate HIPPA on a daily basis. They yell out neams of customers and the medications taken. They gave me a perscription for another patient that was written by the doctor returned in my bag. They even stated they would persaonly bring my perscriotion to my home which they told me just to tell me because the line was long. I would not recommend this pharmacy. They violate prvacy, HIPPA and flat out told me that they were suprised I am not taking HIV medication because most of the customer there do. I am HIV negative and non the less who gives a care what customers are taking you all are seriously violating HIPPA and should be closed down! Rebecca in the beauty department was wonderful!! She offered help getting the best color and suggested an even better product while being sensitive to my price point. (I realize this sounds like upselling but makeup is an investment.) She helped colormatch me with a N.7 device for the best foundation and powder. She took the time to help me pick out the right lipstick and got me taken care of with a freebie for buying N.7 products. She is also an experienced makeup artist with beautiful makeup to prove it. Super glad I came to the Cedars location tonight! read more

THE PHARMACY IS REALLY SLOW AND RUDE. They will tell you pick it up at a certain time and make you wait an extra 20 min.

The worst customer service. There is always a long line to pick up a prescription at this location and it takes at MINIMUM 20 minutes to get your prescription. The worst part is that there are ample people walking around doing nothing while one person is behind the pharmacy desk. If this wasn't right next to my apartment I would never come here. read more

Always spend at least 20-45 minutes waiting for prescriptions even when I'm the only car in the drive-thru. Always mess up my insurance. Ran an expired insurance multiple times and have charged me for out of pocket because they erased my new insurance information out of the system. A mess every time. read more

This store is well stocked, but if for any reason you need assistance, have fun! I went into the store to pick up some quick things (hair spray, contact solution, etc), in addition, I needed a new passport photo taken as well as to print some photos from a USB drive. I waited in the photo section what seemed like FOREVER. They save these self-help kiosks, which sounds great since the photo section is clearly unmanned, but, to actually do anything on these kiosks, you need an employee to enter a password. I waited. I looked for a call button (they have one, but, it's conveniently broken). I walked to the front TWICE and asked for assistance, waiting in the checkout line BOTH times to ask. Both times I was assured someone would be right with me, and then I was sent back to wait over 10minutes on each occasion. After spending nearly 45 minutes in Walgreens, I decided to just put my things back and leave the store. There's a CVS around the corner - maybe they'll be more helpful. read more

Worst pharmacy !! Take a lunch or dinner to wait for prescriptions . It's the slowest pharmacy, then check your bag missing prescriptions and then double wait time because its never billed to your insurance even though it's on fill. I visit this Walgreens almost everyday on my way into work,I tend to avoid the long lines during the evening hours after work. LaKiesha is extremely helpful! I look forward to her smile and helpful attitude before facing my clients. Since this is only a block away from home, its convenient. Pretty much a good go to stop for a quick pick up. read more

Doctor himself called in prescription. Nowhere to be found 1.5 hours later. Tech said call in prescriptions go thru a call center not the store. Doctor said that's not true. Doctor called them back. 30 minutes more to fill. The counters where you pick up prescriptions are amazingly dusty and dirty. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever. I have used them for years due to convenience but their wait times in the drive through have lasted over 30 minutes. I have had prescriptions not logged in the system and severely delayed without any concern from the staff. I'm moving to another store after my experience with them today. This Walgreens location has a 24 hour pharmacy, which is nice to know in case you have to get an emergency prescription filled at some odd hour. I was reading some of the other customers' reviews of the pharmacy and, apparently, they had an awful experience. I'm sorry they went through all that, but my experience with the staff there was pleasant, professional, and nothing to complain about. I guess it just has to do with who you get helping you on any particular day, just like anywhere. read more

This is a terrible pharmacy. There were 12 people in line waiting while 3 customers were angry about their medication screw ups at the counter. It took 20 minutes to pick-up my prescription. They seem disorganized behind the counter. I listened while one he/she clerk was arguing with a customer. Don't waste your time here. read more

this pharmacy is just the worst. i don't even see how they function. every time i use them it's a fiasco. I don't know what it is with their phone system, but every time i request a refill then go to get it, they have no record. so they say come back in an hour. when you do, they still don't have it. it's usually a good 24 hrs from the time they tell you it will be ready. Last time i had a rx which i couldn't get at CVS, i called here to make sure they had it and they assured me they did. i wait in line for 30 minutes for them to tell me they don't have it in stock. read more

Went in on Friday, 10/16/15 because I had sent an online photo printing order. A photo for a bday party that evening. It had been just under a week since I put the online order through, as I had been out of town. When I went in, the lady remembered printing it but they couldn't find it anywhere. The younger gentleman sort of wandered around the photo area and finally said verbatim "I don't know where it is, we will have to reprint it." I had to get back to work so I asked how long, he said 30 mins and I said "I'll be back later". I came back on my way to the bday dinner around 5:30pm and the same younger gentlemen looked at me and said "well did you resend it?" Um no because I wasn't asked to and why wouldn't they have access to it since I had already sent it online?! Not to mention he confirmed my phone number so when he didn't see it, why not call and ask me to resend? I was so angry I just stared in disbelief and he had nothing to say. I said "just forget about it" and walked out. Not once did he try to make the situation better, luckily I had not already paid for it but I was left without a bday gift that evening. This location is AWFUL and I will never go back. Luckily the Walgreens at Mckinney and Lemmon in Uptown has exceeded my expectations so I'll go there instead. read more

Went here to buy a few quick toiletries for the house. When my debit card did not work, I tried to use a visa gift card which also did not work. The cashier kept repeating that "your card(s) are not working." Instead of trying to fix the issue, both cashiers just stared at me and did nothing to figure out what the issue was with their system. Customer service is a very simple task, and they did nothing to help resolve the issue. This is the closest store/grocery to my apartment, and I will now drive an extra half mile to gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

The situation at this location only gets worse. There was another screw up with another simple generic medication. All indications via the mobile app and web app stated the script was ready for pick up....but when arriving to pick it up was told it was "on hold." They not only could not tell me why it was "on hold" but they said they could fill it, but it would take 45 minutes. They could not answer why both the mobile and web app said it was ready. And this was the people at the actual location.....not those morons on the phone in Phoenix. The pharmacy manager was no where to be found--of course. Only after raising #e!! did I finally get the medication but had to waste energy expressing frustration and waste time whilst they filled it....with absolutely complete indifference from all the staff. There are some serious personnel attitude problems here. I moved ALL my prescriptions from this location and from Walgreens. I suggest everyone do the same. I wrote the CEO of Walgreen's THREE times expressing in detail the abhorrent customer service. Even had a Texas area director to call me and she was unprepared for the call---sent another letter to CEO and this time had a regional VP to call me. Too little too late...i moved all my medications to Kroger and am telling everyone to avoid Walgreen's. They DO NOT CARE, HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF IMPROVING CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEIR STAFF MEMBERS LIE ABOUT MEDICATIONS (WHY THEY ARE ON HOLD---lying about a prescripiton medication is illegal in Texas--we'll see what the Texas Board of Pharmacy has to say about this.).
