I have tried getting hot chicken tenders here five times now, over the past year. Four of those five times the chicken was barely room temperature; two of those times they were inedible tubes of tendon and gristle. I have never had either issue, consistently, at any other Hannaford location. I've shopped at many. I have spoken to staff here twice about this issue. The first time was an older man working the counter, who, when I asked how long the hot food stayed under the lamp before being pulled (expecting to hear "four hours"), replied "until close, when it gets refrigerated". Thinking he assumed I meant just the current batch (it was 5:30 PM), I clarified. His answer remained the same, and he looked at me like I was crazy for asking. That ain't right. The second conversation (after I'd sworn off getting hot chicken here), was initiated because I saw a woman actually temp testing the whole birds under the lamp (located right under the tenders). I thought, "finally, signs of quality control!" As we were speaking, a guy behind the counter pulled five bags of tenders off the heat and replaced them with fresh ones. The woman turned to me and said, "Those should be piping hot". I grabbed a bag, ran for the self-checkout (no line) and was in my car in under three minutes. Took a bite...room temp. And a giant finger of tendon (seen in attached picture). I give up - for good, this time. Chickens of the world rejoice. The last Hannaford I routinely shopped at sold hot foods that would burn your mouth, once in the car, if you didn't let them cool for a bit. So, while I don't know what this store's problem is, this is not a insurmountable condition of serving hot foods.

If you have intolerances to certain foods or fillers, they can accommodate you by offering you alternative fillers in your capsules. I E. if you are lactose intolerant, they can use coconut instead. If you have severe allergies, like me, a compounding pharmacy is a necessity. NOTE: Some insurance companies do not cover prescriptions filled at a compounding pharmacy. So, you must file forms to get payment reimbursed. These may be rejected for reimbursement, but you can appeal. THE DEAL: The pharmacist is so knowledgeable and friendly... He even printed out my insurance reimbursement forms and filled them out for me!

We found everything we were looking for and my little nephew found more than I was hoping he would find LOL, M&Ms for the win. The self checkouts were all working! That's the first from the stores I have visited in Maine. The process is super easy, there was a staff member nearby and jumped into action quickly when the customer next to us accidentally scanned an item twice. They were friendly when helping and didn't seem bothered. There is plenty of parking and it was clean and well lit. I highly recommend this store for your retail, pharmacy and vaccine needs.

We were able to pay for everything at the pharmacy which was nice. I usually don't use public restrooms but did this time around. The restroom was clean and well stocked. I was surprised to see (for the first time ever) that Walgreens sells alcohol! I visited this Walgreens again the second day because I forgot to buy cough drops. The line moved quickly but I did noticed that there were no self checkout kiosks like most Walgreens has. Overall, I really liked this Walgreens. The people were so incredibly friendly here!

It's always a very friendly and unstressful experience, even though it can get pretty busy. I had tried to refill a 90 day prescription at Walmart in Thomaston where they were going to charge me $78. When I was in Seattle, the Safeway pharmacy I went to charged me $20 for the same quantity (which I've now realized was abnormally low). I decided to try Jensen's in the hope that I'd pay less and even if I did have to pay that much, I'd rather give it to a small business. I went to Jensen's and asked how much it would be before they filled it. They listened to my Walmart story and said they would charge me $50. I also was easily able to get my doctor to call so I could get an early refill before I leave the country. Jensen's quickly filled it. They also have a lot in the actual pharmacy that is hard to find elsewhere. Like vanicream sunscreen! I will be coming here for all medications.

Selection is surprisingly limited. Too many empty shelves. Not as clean as you would expect for a fairly new store. I have encountered several employees that were less than helpful. Most seem too busy chatting with each other rather than helping customers. Last but not least they never have enough registers open but I am sure that's a common complaint by any consumer that has to wait in line because only 3 out of 20 registers are open.
