All I asked for was to fill up my cup from a sink and pay the price I would for a soda anywhere else and was treated like the scum of the earth. I would not stop here if I was starving, I would rather push my car 20 miles in the snow barefoot, than stopping at wisscaset quick stop.

Take time to poke around this store; although small it seemingly has just about everything you would need to keep your kitchen and pantry well stocked. We rented a cottage just down the road from Wallace's and in addition to our lobster roll feast, we also ordered a couple of pizzas, which were quite good. Also look for the whoopie pies, made locally, on the counter. A simple but wonderful dessert. Everyone working there is nice and welcoming, and the locals you run into are friendly and helpful as well. Love this place.

But over on the side of the store is a small grill that manages to produce a whole range of different things. All kinds of cool breakfast stuff, some traditional like several varieties on bacon and egg and toast and other rather uncommon things like breakfast burritos and even something call breakfast pizza. They also have some absolutely gigantic freshly baked cinnamon rolls that smell fantastic and of course the ubiquitous Maine blueberry pancakes. But there is a lot more here than just breakfast. All kinds of pizzas are served throughout the day as well as various sandwiches, fried chicken, burger type things and sea bugs like shrimp, scallops and of course some great lobster rolls. In fact they even have live lobsters and crabs that they will cook for you or you can take them home and kill them yourself. Just an amazing amount of different foods prepared so many different ways. You or course can fill up with gas for your vehicle or get caught up on the latest local gossip too. Not a whole lot of stores around here so they make the best of what they have. I have had multiple horrendous experiences at the pharmacy. The pharmacy techs, who are waiting on…read morepeople take the brunt of the customers abuse. However, the pharmacy manager is about at useless as an individual can get. I worked in retail for over 30 years, and I never let anyone talk to my staff in that manner. As any good manager would do, I stepped in and either deescalated the situation or had the individual removed. The current manager stays behind his glass enclosure and leaves his employees to fend for themselves. Fortunately, I have found a pharmacy where you don't have to wait 5 plus days for a prescription, and the pharmacist is present and not hiding. Hannaford's has not only lost my business at the pharmacy, I don't even shop at the store any longer. You may believe that this is an isolated incident, but nothing could be further from the truth. I was introduced to my new pharmacy by another unsatisfied Hannaford's customer, and I have told at least 10 others who have now left your inferior pharmacy. As for the other pharmacist on staff the female pharmacist is extremely pleasant and apologetic for delays. However, the other male was so rude to an older woman it was disgusting. Not only did he violate her HIPPA rights, as he clearly stated the medications she was taking. He was also extremely nasty to her, asking her what would you like me to do, all these people are waiting as well. ATTENTION All CUSTOMERS: Find another pharmacy, Amazon is great and their prices are far superior.
