The shelves are typically bare or completely destroyed. They wait times in the pharmacy and front counter are super long. I come in to get my prescription and i walk to the back towards the pharmacy and the doors are down and the lights are off. I go to check the sign and it states that for some reason only today due to staff shortage that they will only be open from 1-6. You call walgreens they state theyre open regular hours. You check online regular hours. Not only due are they only open 6 hours but theyre going to still have their "lunch" at 130. So your going to open/at work for 30 minutes and then close then just close the doors again. They have signage up front that is hardly viewable to customers almost like its hidden. The only reason i even come here is for my prescriptions but if another pharmacy opened up id gladly take my business over there. No good things to say about this locations. It would be fine if this was the only problem thats occurred here but it hasnt. If you have the opportunity to go elsewhere i would recommend it.

While there, I thought I would use the men's room but found the doors locked with a keypad preventing access. I came to the front of the store and set my medication down, and told them I was intending to purchase it but I wanted to use the restroom first. To which I was told they don't open restrooms for customers. I asked him why that was and I was told that because some time ago a female had left feces on the floor in the ladies room, the manager has decided to close the restrooms off to customers. I assured them I would not do that, nor would I use the ladies room. I also asked them if they were not to be considered public restrooms then why was there a restroom sign on the back wall outside them?? Regardless, I was denied access and was told no customers can use the restrooms... Ever.. Not that it matters but for identification purposes, there were three employees at the register that I spoke with and the one doing most of the talking was a young African American female and she was not friendly... At all! I felt like I was being discriminated against either by the color of my skin, or because I was a US veteran. The store is not veteran friendly or customer friendly. I highly discourage anyone from coming here and I never will again!

Got text messages all weekend saying my prescription was ready (the pharmacy is closed until Monday) and then a got a text telling me the pharmacy was closed and they would advise when it reopened. Never received any text advising they were reopened but I went there straight from work today and they CLOSED AT 6PM! Tried calling another Walgreens to see if they could fill it and no luck there. I advised that I was leaving at 4:30 AM tomorrow on a trip and was told I could call my Dr's office and have them call the prescription into their location. It is 6:15 at night, the Dr's office closed at 4!!! Horrible customer service and I refuse to deal with this crap any longer. Been a loyal customer for 30+ years but no more. I am moving every single prescription I have out of their reach so hopefully I won't ever have to deal with them again!

All in all Walgreens on east Euclid is a great choice to pick up what you need. I recommend it!

Called Insurance and they said Walgreens would not reinvoice that December charge to reflect my pick up on January 2, 2026 and it applied to 2025 as I feared and was assured it wouldn't happen according to my understanding. They do what they say they will do - get names and numbers if you like standing in lines and getting scripts here is my advice. Grocery can be found here. This location had some items in stock that others would be fully stocked. Nice collection of everything that a larger store would have: Opalhouse, Hearth and Hand, seasonal clothing brands, vegan items, electronics, bikes. I can tell they stock less of the items due to space. Service is ok. I tend to see same cashiers and customer service managers. I hardly come here but I have found that if other locations are out of something, I can find it here via Target app. Drive up pick up is offered here. Parking lot can be crazy. Layout is similar to others in DSM but just smaller.

Panic set in and I called a different pharmacy, only to be told that my insurance wouldn't cover it there. (Express Scripts-worst insurance ever) it was late, and I wasn't able to get the prescription sent anywhere else, so had to wait for the 4th of July. I called CVS on SE 14th and they had my medication in stock and they took our insurance. Win, win! So, we jump in our car, drive 26 miles and get there with minutes to spare (shortened hours because of the holiday) and then to find out the last pharmacy hadn't sent my prescription over. I made a call, and finally the prescription was faxed. The pharmacist stayed to fill my prescription and was so accommodating!! She went above and beyond to help me out! It was greatly appreciated!! Would definitely recommend CVS! While there, I was actually amazed at how nice of a store this is. A very nice selection of items and their prices were reasonable. The cashier was very helpful too, and signed us up for the rewards card and was informative about how it works. I'm glad I didn't let the low reviews scare me away because this CVS was awesome!
