I dropped off three disposable cameras to be developed. 2/3 were developed and returned in a timely fashion. The third was MIA. For TWO WEEKS I've been hammering this local store and corporate for answers as to where this camera is and absolutely NO ONE was willing to help or provide any insight. I was sent on a wild goose chase with phone number after phone number of people to contact to get answers, all of which continued to say 'I can't help you with this', 'this isn't our problem' and many other excuses alike. FINALLY, the Inventory Manager, Mary, stepped up to the plate and took the initiative and accountability to contact the third party vendor whom they use to develop film (contrary to what I'd been told the past two weeks, that no one is able to contact this vendor). Mary was the first person to finally own up to the fact that this camera, full of memories I will now NEVER SEE, has been lost somewhere between Walgreens and their developing vendor. While I appreciate that Mary took the initiative to seek out an answer, I'm sorely disappointed that it took two weeks of pestering to get anyone to move the needle. I'm not sure how any of the staff at this local Walgreens or corporate is able to maintain their job with the lack of work ethic, lack of problem solving skills and lack of simple customer service/support. I know I'd lose my job in a heartbeat if my answer to a customers question/problem was 'dunno' or 'not my problem'.

When we started using the Urbandale MediCap Pharmacy. Immediately we noticed a huge difference in the more personalized service from the staff at MediCap. They have all of the same medications, personal healthcare items, and immunizations that one would find elsewhere. Pricing is similar too and they accept all the same insurance payments. But what they have that others places don't have is great, friendly, and personal experience/service. That's why we will continue to be loyal MediCap customers. This is a HUGE problem because the sign to my home are written in English and if I can't verbally communicate to him in English, then what's the next alternative? I told him to stay there and I would go find him. I think he understood me. I had to drive my car out to find him in order to get my package. Now I'm hesitating on whether to order again from Walmart because online will not allow me to go to the store to pick it up and instead it will be locally delivered. Please do better Walmart. If you cannot find drivers that speak English, then allow me to pick up the item in store.

She asked me some information about my prescription over the phone to which I didn't have the answers to at the moment, but i stated if it was okay that I call back with the information. She stated yes, this was excellent. When i called back with the information she was requesting from me, I talked to some other woman on the phone and asked "I am not too sure if it was you that I was talking to earlier or someone else, but I have the information about my prescription". The other woman definitely wasn't the kind woman that I spoke to before and she just gave me attitude for no reason, "Well it wasn't me because I just got here and I have no idea what you are talking about" and she put me on hold without letting me know. The other kind woman answered and we went from there. Come time to pick up my prescription the next day, I had this stuck up and extremely snobby young Rx technician girl with blonde hair roll her eyes at me when she saw me standing at the counter that she had to socialize. I got my prescription and asked her if I can use a coupon that I have for the prescription from GoodRx and she said in the most bratty tone "I already gave you a discount. Anything else?". I just looked at my spouse that was with me to see if I was experiencing a hallucination and even he was in disbelief with the attitude she was giving. I don't know what it is about WDM and the bratty snotty snobby kids working in places like these. They're miserable for some reason.

Went in again in 4 day, they said they couldn't fill until the next day. This wasn't a problem with the doctor or insurance coverage, but STORE policy. I've been getting prescriptions filled monthly for the last 5 years at this location, but still no one in the pharmacy even knew me. I'm a retired pharmacist and I knew nearly everyone by name that walked in pharmacy door.

And was my pick for anything Rx related until my insurance pushed me to Hy-Vee or Walmart... Darn you Cigna! Ample parking. Great selection and friendly staff! I appreciate the Rewards savings and availability of over the counter generics. You can never go wrong picking any one of these four locations!
