Some of the staff just don't care and it was apparent they weren't really trained. FedEx told me a box had been delivered. Thankfully I have learned to call before making the trip. I was told it was there. When I got there I was told , after a look over his shoulder, it wasn't. Got no assistance. Today I went to the Walgreens at 34909 Emerald Cost Parkway in Destin Florida. I purchased $94 worth of merchandise. The register did not print out a receipt so I left. When I got home I opened a bag of candy, then noticed the candy had an expiration date of 9-2023. I returned to the store within a half hour and informed the clerk that rang up my purchase of the problem. She looked at the opened bag of individually wrapped mini candies and went to another clerk. They spoke with other and the second clerk came over and told me I needed a receipt. I informed her of the transaction and she continued with "I needed a receipt". I'm becoming a little agitated over the fact I needed a receipt. She went to the third clerk and again I needed a receipt. Now I'm really agitate. The manger came over and started telling me that I was yelling at her employee. I was not yelling, and I told her if she wanted to hear yell I'd show her what yelling is. After almost one hour I finally received my refund. No apology for having outdated produce on the shelf or the the fact I wasted over an hour by the time I returned home. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS WALLGREEN AGAIN. THE MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED. read more

I have been using this particular Walgreens location for many years, my review is based on hundreds of experiences. I have always had great service in the pharmacy area as well as the photo department and just the store as a whole. This is a very busy store as you can imagine, so occasionally your prescription may take a bit of time before it's ready, however they have a drive thru where you can drop off the script and pick it up later if you don't want to wait. In season (as we are now) there may be slower service up front as the location is on the corner of the busiest intersection in Destin so lots of people come here, locals and tourists alike. I've taken away one star because of the Walgreens reward program, I like rewards however it drives me crazy to have to carry around one more card in my wallet just to receive the advertised prices... read more

There always soo friendly and sooo accommodating. This location is the only chain and pharmacy I fill at. They are just good people. I was shorted one time and didn't realize till 2 weeks later, I just politely said I was short and they went Through the whole inventory and had the exact number I was off "honest mistake" and came out and apologized and gave the ones I was short. I left the dr office,feeling pretty bad with severre cough and chest congestion. Went through the drive through to drop off my script but as soon as I pulled off, I had a question about using goodrx to save some money. I called as I pulled away and was on hold from 11:02 tò1;32 before finally getting disconnected. I called back at 3;05 and was on hold for 49 mins before being disconnected. At 6;10, I was on hold for 26 mins before I gave up and called the manager of the store. He sent the call to the pharmacy where I held for 10 mins to finally being connected to pharmacist who told me that they could.not wait on the people in the store efficiently, much less answer the phone. So if this is the case then this means, they are encouraging people to hold with full intentions of NEVRR picking up that phone. Then why don't you just say that rather than leaving a message saying that someone will be right with you. I called the customer service line and guess what??? The SAME EXACT SCENARIO.. Absolutely do not use this pharmacy. They received my percripttion request first thing in the morning from my doctor and not only couldn't they fill my percripttion by 5pm they also lost my HSA credit card information in their system. Very unprofessional office. Use anyone else before you try these incompetent people. I won't be going back. read more

We recently moved to the area and have changed from the best Pharmacy experience with Dawn at Rufe Snow, to the worst, with a Tech at the Dustin Common area. Dawn was the most caring, friendly pharmacist I have had the pleasure of dealing with. In contrast, the people at this location are abrupt, short, and sometimes down right RUDE! If you are traveling and need an emergency fill, then you may not have a choice but to use this location. However if you have a choice, this would be the last place I would recommend. read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy with pharmacists and pharmacy techs who clearly have little or no regard to the patients who use their services. In two years I have so many problems with their lack of communication regarding whether a particular drug is in stock or how they follow up with doctors and insurance companies. It almost always ends up being the patient racing around trying to get the problem resolved using misinformation from the pharmacy. Pathetic is too nice a word to describe them. Today, a Saturday, less than two days before Christmas they tell me my medication is out of stock, my only option is to call my doctor yet if they had told me yesterday I could have but instead I had to go and stand in line to get this information even though I turned this in on Friday morning. Came to Destin for vacation and got sick in the middle of the night. I so need a pharmacy and when I searched for one I found Walgreens close to my hotel that was open 24 hours. I rushed to it little to find out they were not open 24 hours like it states on the web. Two thumbs down for Walgreens. read more

Very irritating that I called the store before traveling across town from the other Walgreens in Destin by target (great service there!) to come to this Walgreen next to the commons to get here and find out they did not have the product I tripled checked on the phone if they did!!!! just saying yes to get me off the phone? Have used this pharmacy for awhile have been very pleased! At times they are busy, that's normal for a pharmacy. Exceptional service!
