We walked up to the young female cashier with long brown hair and she said she was with a customer but there was no one around. Then she proceeded to wave us off with her hand and told us the line started over there (pointed to the other side) but there was no one standing in line. I'm not sure where she pointed to. Then she asked me if that was alcohol (I was holding a wine bottle) and I said yes. I don't understand what the relevance of that question was because she said nothing else. In the end another male cashier came to check me out and had no further interaction with the female cashier. Her behavior was very unprofessional and rude. She needs to learn how to talk to customers the way she talks to her mom (she said have a good lunch mom out loud) I guess her mom works there too. read more

Be careful filling your prescriptions here. I got a notification in tech on the Walgreens app stating that my medication was ready for pickup. I also spoke with the pharmacist the day prior and she confirmed that my medication was ready for pickup. The next day I went to pick up my medication and they said that they had misplaced it. But in fact I heard them tell the other staff members that they had taken my medication and filled it to someone else who needed the same medication. Like what is going on at these Walgreens locations where people are not properly taught their jobs? Beware of this at the pharmacy. read more

I laughed out loud when I saw the reviews on the pharmacy because they are SPOT ON. I have a severe form of lupus and some other fun things I need daily medication for. It's a joke now with my husband whenever I need a refill we call on speaker phone because we already know there's going to be an issue. They are so rude and incompetent. I have to fight with them often for my medication to be filled because they don't read the directions clearly. Concerning for a place dispersing medication. I've only come here because it's the closest location but it's really not worth it. You'd save so much time driving somewhere else. These people should not be in charge of peoples medications and lives. I feel bad for the people that don't fight back and probably can't get what they need. Please stay away from here. read more

Called the pharmacy today as i was told to do by their 877 number representative, to ask about walking in for a first dose of the vaccine. Due to my company's mandate i need to get this done and that's all i wanted to do today. This pharmacist scolded me like she was my mother. Totally unprofessional! Her tone was abrasive when she said "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" When i asked why another Walgreens (further from my home) did do walkins for the first dose so why doesn't her location. I've been going to this Walgreens pharmacy for almost two years--I take a medication that I have to get on time every week, or I'll get so sick I can't work or get out of bed. You could say it's a priority, then, that this prescription is filled with no issues. Twice this pharmacy has said they didn't receive my prescription request or my doctor never sent it. My doctor has never been to blame. It's always been Walgreens, somehow unable to take responsibility for their mistakes. Is it the computers? Is it their system? Is it the pharmacy itself? Who knows! I never seem to get an answer as to why this happened, only that it happened, and now I have to handle it myself. It's caused me a lot of pain to be without my medication even for a few days. You'd think a pharmacy would want to prevent this at all costs, but they seem just fine with the way things are. The two stars is for the younger pharmacy techs here. They're really kind, and I always appreciate their service. It's also for the rest of the store, which I don't have any issues with. I'm sad to change Walgreens because of the pharmacy, as I really like this one. But I can't ignore the issue now that it's happened a second time. My advice: at this location, don't take it for granted your prescription will be filled with no issues unless you're handing it to them personally. read more

I tried to give this pharmacy a chance, I really did. Every time I come here I have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes for my prescription. Customer service is awful!!! Pharmacy is always understaffed, slow, and incompetent. I'm so appalled at how horrible the service is. I was also told my prescription was ready yesterday. Since then I've gone to the drive thru twice to be told that they were out of it and had to reorder more. Never mind that I needed the medication yesterday. Absolutely unacceptable! The pharmacy here is absolutely awful. Called and was left on hold for 45 minutes only to be told by the pharmacist that they never received my script. "Well I'm the pharmacist, and I've been here since 2pm and nothing has come through for you." How about offering up some sort of help rather than telling me about 5 times that you're the pharmacist and that you can't do anything else for me and that I have to call my doctor and figure everything out myself? I had called my doctor first to make sure the script was sent and my doctor confirmed the prescription was sent over 2 hours prior to my phone call. Awful. I scheduled a TB test here, got here and the pharmacy and clinic were abandoned. I checked in, waited for around 20 minutes after my scheduled time and had to leave, as I was late for work by that point. No one to talk to, no way to ask questions, no acknowledgment. read more

A very special recognition for Katie in Pharmacy. I ran out of my Metoprolol (a very important blood pressure medication). The FedEx delivery of this medication was delayed (Christmas Season). It was a Sunday, and Katie had to spend considerable time on the phone with Blue Cross to get approval for a refill (because it was a Sunday). This is a pretty standard Walgreens. The store is clean, and I have not had any issues here getting meds because they were out of stock. The pharmacist CJ and the staff are polite and courteous. They are also reasonably fast helping patients, though it does seem they could use at least one more person helping out. Thanks for being nice to customers, Walgreens staff! It's the worst when your are treated not well as a patient when you're already feeling crappy physically. This is the WORST pharmacy around! Every time I go there to pick up a prescription, they tell me that it is not ready yet, even after two or three hours of them "working" on it. Today I even called after the doctor sent the prescription and told them that I was trying to come in sooner rather than later. They told me it would be an hour and 45 minutes from that point. Of course, I pull up and prescription is still not ready. If this was the exception and not the rule, it would be acceptable. However, the pharmacy drive-through window line is always two lanes of 3 to 4 cars deep, and nothing is getting filled. Inside is no better. I would take your prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I don't know why this Walgreens has such a low rating. I've never had anything but pleasant experiences here. Are all you people coming here when you're sick and ultra-crabby, then going home and writing negative reviews? Not me. Even when my wife got into a car accident last year and I was a basket case and came here for her painkiller afterwards, was the staff super nice to me. I've found I come here a lot, and almost never check in. I guess it's because I'm generally on a mission and it just so happens that this is the closest all-in-one convenience type store near my house. I could drive a bit further and go to Target, but that's a hassle, especially on weekends. So I've found myself picking up supplies, soda, and even packing tape here. One thing is consistent, the staff is always friendly and they usually have what I'm looking for. I guess that's two things. I like this Walgreens because they're open 24 hours. That means holidays, too, yo! Need some emergency cough syrup on Thanksgiving? Stop here! Need some painkillers on Christmas? Look no further! The store comes complete with super friendly clerks, full stock of walgreens goodies, and it is always very clean. Downside?? I'm not a fan of their Take Care Clinic. Lines are always super long, staff back there isn't the friendliest, and for some reason it's not covered by my insurance which is a major bummer. One time I waited two hours to have a TB test read. I mean, seriously?! Someone just needs to look at my freakin' arm!! Here's the kicker...I was there when there was no wait but they refused to read it 10 minutes before the 48 hour read period was up. Then the clinic was flooded with patients. BOO! After being out of town with a sick child, we chose our old faithful Walgreens to fill a prescription! 2.5 hours later when we show up to pick the prescription up, they hadn't even taken it off of the voicemail yet! When I went inside to see if they'd sympathize with our dilemma, I was told by the tech, there were 3 in front of me and I'd need to wait another 30 minutes to have it filled! I came to the pharmacy at 8:15pm tonight, and was told it would be 20 minutes before my daughter's medicine was ready. I came back to the drive at approximately 8:45pm. I sat at the drive up window over 20 minutes before someone came and acknowledged me. It is now approximately 9:25pm and I'm still sitting in the Walgreens drive thru waiting for my child's medicine. My kid is sick with the flu and I've had to wait over an hour already with minimal communication with the pharmacist or tech. This is horrible customer service. I understand an 30 minute wait but it's been over an hour I've sat in this drive thru. This is ridiculous I have never been to a Walgreens with service as bad as this. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. The rest of the Walgreens seems like a typical Walgreens, you know what to expect. The pharmacy was bad enough for me to actually write a Yelp review of Walgreens though. I recently moved from the city and had been using Walgreens pharmacy there with no problem. After moving it seemed easiest to get my medicines at the local 24 hour Walgreens as they had everything on file. When I tried to fill my medicine which I have been taking for years with no problems I had nothing but issues. Rather than trying to call someone and resolve it they told me to come back in a few days and try again, so I did. In a few days still issues so they said, to come back in a few days and try again. Only this time I was totally out of a medicine I need to take daily. When I explained is to them, they did not care at all, and said try again in a few days. I told them instead to cancel my medicine, and called my doctors assistant and had it sent down Ogden to cvs. I filled it there with no problem at all. I guess I don't blame them for not being more helpful, as the line is always outrageously long, and they are running around hectically obviously short staffed. I pray this never results in more than bad service such as someone being given the wrong medicines. If you are about your health, and your time. You should probably use a pharmacy other than this one, there is or ably 30 on this stretch of Ogden alone. read more

They allow my minor request to leave the scripts in the orig bottles where applicable, always treat me great, and always offer an immediate fill when most of the time I can wait. Horrible Service! Wrong vaccination given at Health Care Clinic by Hana A. Malik. She never even apologized!!! My paperwork clearly had the correct vaccination written on it. They obviously didn't read it. In addition they submitted the claim to my insurance company for reimbursement. WTH- Insurance Fraud. Please go to another clinic.I don't want anyone else to suffer with side effects from the wrong vaccination. I'm also going to start a website with complaints from other people who have received wrong vaccinations from this Walgreen's. Keep an eye out for the website. read more

I stopped here to fill my prescription of antibiotics after a morning in the emergency room at the Good Sam hospital right down the street. The cashier staff are very unpleasant ... the looked at my husband and I like we didn't belong in their store at 3 am. The pharmacist, however, was extremely pleasant and gave me all the info I needed on my prescription. He even suggested I get a Walgreen card to save on my horribly expensive prescription. Sent my prescription and when I pulled up to the drive-through, 10 minutes later still not acknowledged or welcomed or greeted or even asked to wait so I hit the button they came over and rudely told me they'll be right with me waited four more minutes Press the button again and asked for my prescriptions back. Ok so they do all the calling and faxing for you, they're open 24 hours and there's lots of makeup and wine. But I'm not really a huge fan of waiting over an hour for a simple prescription. It has happened every time I have picked up my prescription here. I'm a newbie to this Walgreen's and do the three month prescription refill and have refilled a couple times here and there is always always always a wait or a problem. I give ample time for them to refill my prescription, they always fill it earlier and leave me a call saying its ready but then I get there and they say they couldn't refill it due to my insurance. Why couldn't they include this in the message and save me the time of waiting there? I will continue to go here due to the convenient location and the hours but seriously. Hire more people. read more
