Listen. I have never complained or gotten upset at retail workers because I've worked retail pharmacy before and I get it. I came in to request an emergency fill on sertraline, something I have been on for several years. The technician was very nice and requested the refill from a new provider I'm seeing. She then asked the pharmacist if she could do the emergency fill. The pharmacist denied me because the last fill they had on file was from June last year. I explained that I had leftover supply at home and had been using that and recently I had switched to a different antidepressant to try it out and I didn't do well with it. She still refused and told me to my face that I wasn't taking sertraline. Why would I lie about taking an SSRI!? I wasn't asking for a benzo, an opioid, a stimulant. It's god damn Zoloft. Obviously, she does not care about her patients, because there is zero chance that she would have gotten in trouble for giving me a week supply to hold me over. Now I have to deal with the shit withdrawal that comes with stopping an SSRI cold turkey. Because of some weird power trip she had. I'm never filling anything with Walgreens again. And not that this matters much but I am a pharmacist, I've worked for Walgreens and I would have never denied a patient an emergency fill for an antidepressant. read more

This is from 4pm on 9/6. I'm at the cashier ready to make a purchase and the Indian employee was burning a hole through two African American people who walked in. In front of me, he called the manager and told him to "watch those two". His attention was pretty much focused on "those two" instead of the transaction. The manager proceeded to keep on eye on "those two" who ended up buying some soap. That was the worst example of racial profiling I've seen in a long time. Unbelievable. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just had surgery today (Tuesday) and had a prescription prescribed to this location and got a call saying it was delayed. I am in severe pain so I called and the girl was very rude and said that I wouldn't get my medication till Friday (I should be done taking the medication by then). Have been going to there for about a 2 years and have had multiple bad experiences with prescriptions and rude, inconsiderate people but it is the closest location to my house and now this is the last straw. The doctor sent over a different medication that should be in stock and it is still pending till tomorrow afternoon. If I wasn't in so much pain and needed this medication this would be a different story. Never going here again. read more

This is a truly awful pharmacy. It's worth the trip to go to another location. The pharmacy staff- mainly the woman pharmacist- is unbelievably rude, not only to myself but to everyone she seems to encounter in person or via phone. It's important when working with patients to have customer service skills, or even to just be polite. I would hope the Walgreens company would take notice of the comments about this pharmacy and the pharmacist, and possible monitor the patient service provided by this unkind woman. It would be refreshing to be able to work with someone who would reinforce trust with your care, instead of what is currently happening. They seem to be a pretty busy location, and I am sure they would benefit from a positive replacement. read more

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. Worst Walgreens I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. Parking lot and store are always empty. Should be a bad enough sign. I don't know how this place stays open. Employees are rude when they do speak to you. The pharmacy is a nightmare. One time they had me waiting in the drive thru 2 hours and I had to leave without my prescription. When I call them they keep you on hold forever. Sub-standard Walgreens. Ordered some pictures and had them sent to this Walgreens since I would be in the area. They were supposed to be ready by 1, so I planned to pick them up at that time and then head downtown to my dad's so I can give them to him while meeting up for dinner. I ended up waiting half hour past 1. As I was waiting, I wandered around the store. Pretty standard layout, though they don't have as much as other walgreens, (books, gifts, etc). I kept checking back at the photo counter because I saw my pictures being printed. Finally, I saw they were done. A girl goes behind the counter and asks what name my photo order is under. I told her and she asked if I was sure because she didn't see anything under that name. I told her they had to be here because I just saw them being printed. She finds the box with half of my pictures in there and scans the box. I said, "Um, is this all of them, because I think there's some still on the printer." Confused, she goes back and says "Are these you?" and I said yes. She said she didn't realize it since the box was pretty much labeled and set aside as ready to go. So someone else had put it with the finished pile? I could have left without half of my order! Glad we got that figured out, and she did give me a few extra envelopes upon request. Check your orders before you leave. Not my regular Walgreens so I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Finally spoke to a woman and asked if there is a clinic in this Walgreens. Her response was, "I think so". What??? How could you not know this answer. She said she would connect me to the pharmacy. Didn't want to wait another 20 min, so I asked to speak to the manager. Waited another 15 min. Still no one picked up. This is crazy!!! Still don't know the answer to this question!!
