The female then rolled her eyes and said something in her language. When I asked the male associate to review the camera and zoom in, it was found that the woman was wrong. I immediately pressed for the female cashier's name to issue to corporate and she refused the entire time. That female repeatedly urged that if we did not leave she would call the police. Only for my cousins sake, we left. The woman working over night at the 7/11 severely needs retraining in interpersonal relations/customer service training. She is rude, unprofessional and incompetent.

The menu spans several screens on the wall and is a bit overwhelming for someone new. They do have 2 self-serve kiosks where you order and I found the menu on there better organized and less daunting. I later saw they have a physical menu which the employee gave to the customer once things slowed down a little. The place had a retro feel - with tons of soda-related decor - but... simple. Counter seats and a number of tables so you can stay and hang out/chat. Took my kids here on a Friday afternoon and they were busy. Only one person was working and there was a huge party already there plus a few others. It took a while to get our order and because she was so busy, I couldn't ask any questions; one of my kids has multiple food allergies... so I played it safe. I ordered: Custom #1: kid size (12 oz), sprite, mango syrup, vanilla creme, mango popping boba. Kid absolutely loved this. She's notorious for not finishing anything and she did eventually finish this. Custom #2: kid size, sprite with vanilla Creme and strawberry popping boba. This was for my kid with the food allergies and he wasn't as thrilled. Said the boba tasted funny? And he wasn't bummed I didn't add in chocolate drizzle because I couldn't ask any questions. Butterscotch Lollipop Root Beer: regular size. I got this for myself and it was quite good. Tasted like a butterscotch version of a root beer float, which is a guilty pleasure I love. I was hesitant on syrups being added to soda since I don't like too sweet things, but it worked out beautifully. Bill came out to $14.75. A note: kid size and regular size are the same price but you get more for the regular size. Drinks are around $5 and can differ depending on what you add in there and how crazy you go. They come in these cute, plastic containers where the aluminum lid is screwed on, reminiscent of a can of soda. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised because I honestly don't like carbonated sugary drinks. In fact, the only time I like it is - ironically - in a float. I'd return again for sure! I didn't think they were overpriced (other than the two smallest sizes being the same/similar base price for different amounts but that's more like the kid size isn't a good deal... in fact, the mango kid custom drink cost more than mine with the additional add ins) but I do wish they had more employees working. Having said that, I wouldn't get the regular size for my kids; too much sugar! Place was adequately clean; I had to wipe down our table (watermarks and a sticky spot) but since she's the only one working, I don't hold it against her. This place is a fun addition! I'm curious to see what other flavor concoctions my kids come up with in future visits.

We go in here to fill a prescription-- my girlfriend has been here before; we like to support the little guy. She's at the counter, talking to the male pharmacist (store owner?) and I am in an aisle, five feet away, in full view of the counter, browsing. Female pharmacist behind the counter tells me I "have to pay for that," and motions to my coat pocket. I pull out my own glove (it's February) and tell her there's nothing else in my pocket. She picks up the phone and I immediately take off my coat and offer it to her over the counter to search it. I say "Take it, look through, I didn't steal anything." She continues to try to get through to someone on the phone (the police?) and shakes her head no to taking my coat. My girlfriend, now realizing that I am being accused of stealing (my own glove?) as she is trying to fill a prescription, takes her prescription out of the male pharmacist's hand and declares that she can't believe that I am being accused of stealing by his partner. He tries to tell her that "it's a pharmacy, these things happen" and she says that we do not steal (we don't) and these things do not happen with us. I realize that maybe with a winter coat and the suspicious nature of a pharmacy in Inwood that they are always looking for the next thief in the aisles. But I immediately offered my coat, even pulled out my gloves and the pocket lining, and they didn't want to hear me-- no apology for accusing me, no convincing them I didn't take something (my own glove?), no regard for their repeat customers, and no more supporting this little guy. We turn and walk out, and go directly to Rite Aid. I hope we are in this neighborhood for a long time, and I hope the big box stores choke this pair of pharmaceutical clowns out.

They pharmacist and his tech know my names and are always super accommodating. I never have to worry about refills. I even get a reminder if I am somehow late to pick them up or request them.
